Fan Bingbing In Christopher Bu - Barbie Doll Launch

Fan Bingbing attended her Barbie doll launch held at Grand Gateway Plaza on Saturday (May 31) in Shanghai, China.

The ‘X Men’ actress wore a Christopher Bu Spring 2014 music note short-sleeved gown for the special unveiling of her doll, who wears the dragon print gown which made her famous on an international level.

I love how soft and feminine she looks, especially with the simple hair and makeup; however, the dress feels like it is a size too big.

Fan Bingbing In Ralph & Russo - X-Men Days of Future Past' Melbourne Premiere

Fan Bingbing attended the Melbourne premiere of ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ earlier today (May 16) in Australia.

The Asian beauty selected a Ralph & Russo Spring 2014 Couture white crepe dress with an elegant embroidered cape in a glorious ladylike silhouette.

So why don’t I love the look?

The shoes. God I love her, but those shoes have to be replaced with something more dainty and less clunky.

They are bringing down every look.

Once again I only like this look from the ankles up.

Chopard jewels, a silver Giuseppe Zanotti clutch and a hot-red lip provided the finishing touches.

Fan Bingbing In Zuhair Murad - 'X-Men Days of Future' Past Singapore Press Conference

Fan Bingbing attended the Singapore press conference for her latest movie, ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ with co-stars Hugh Jackman and Peter Dinklage, which was held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel on Wednesday (May 14).

The actress wore a dainty Zuhair Murad Spring 2014 Couture dress expertly cut from macramé lace.

Featuring a peplum detail and an alluring open neckline, the actress styled her look with the same gold leaf belt we saw on the runway, Chopard jewels, and those can’t-live-without quadruple stacked peep-toes.

From the ankles up, I love this fresh take on modern femininity.

Fan Bingbing In Delpozo - 'X-Men Days of Future Past' Singapore Premiere

Fan Bingbing attended the ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Southeast Asia premiere today (May 14) in Singapore.

Keeping it interesting and varied once again, the actress wore a Delpozo Spring 2014 gown.

Had it not been for the runway image, we couldn’t have known this dress was indeed strapless.

With that in mind, I wish Bingbing had worn her hair up to really showcase the convex neckline and contrast gingham-printed overlay on the bodice.

It would be a crime to take scissors to such a beautiful gown, but the skirt is just a tad overwhelming on her petite frame.

Despite my nitpicks, I adore this gown.

Chopard jewels – and, I’m confident, a pair of quadruple-stacked heels – completed her look.

Fan Bingbing In Zac Posen - 'X-Men Days of Future Past' Beijing Premiere

Fan Bingbing attended the ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ premiere at Indigo Shopping Mall today (May 13) in Beijing, China.

The actress wore a Zac Posen Fall 2014 black strapless gown with a pointy fitted bodice and a dramatic full skirt with a rise-and-fall hemline.

Some frown (myself included) at the actress’s dramatics on occasion, but this gown cuts a graceful architectural frame showcasing the designer’s flair for pleating, which she carries off with great aplomb.

Styled with moderate platform peep-toes, the look was complemented with Chopard jewels, a Louis Vuitton clutch, and a red velvet veiled fascinator enhancing her ’40s updo.
