Fan Bingbing In Ralph & Russo Couture – Trophée Chopard

Fan Bingbing In Ralph and Russo Couture - Trophée Chopard

Fan Bingbing joined the Trophée Chopard 15th anniversary festivities during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 15) in Cannes, France.

Echoing the curves of the feminine form, the undulating sculpted bodice was the statement piece of this Ralph & Russo Spring 2015 Couture gown.

The actress further heightened the glamour with striking Chopard jewels on the one occasion where it’s quite alright to wear dazzle on top of dazzle with an astonishing necklace and pendant earrings.

It was an unquestionably elegant gown, but one that I could easily see on a bride’s wedding wish list.

Fan Bingbing In Marchesa – ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

"Mad Max : Fury Road" Premiere - The 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Fan Bingbing made her second red carpet appearance during Cannes Film Festival for the ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ premiere this evening (May 14) in Cannes, France.

The actress wore an extremely beautiful Marchesa Spring 2015 dusty grey v-neck tulle gown made all the more heavenly with the billowing sleeves and delicate pastel multi-colour feathers and crystal bouquets.

Sadly, I couldn’t get on board with the crystal bouquet headpiece, which takes this look down an overstyled and almost comical/costumey path.

Fan Bingbing In Ralph & Russo Couture – ‘La Tete Haute’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Opening Ceremony & "La Tete Haute" Premiere - The 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Fan Bingbing returned to Cannes Film Festival as expected, with a bang.

The Asian beauty glided down the red carpet for the opening ceremony and premiere of ‘La Tete Haute’ (‘Standing Tall’) this evening (May 13) in Cannes, France, wearing Ralph & Russo Couture.

Looking ever so regal, the cape design, which will be on my BDOTY list, took my breath away for being so elegance, and complementary to her skin-tone.

If you are looking for the Chinese influence, look no further than the 18th-century Chinese motifs, depicting a blossoming scene and peacocks – a symbol of dignity and beauty.

The look was styled with emerald Chopard jewels and her favourite Louis Vuitton clutch.

I’m glad she saved this for Cannes, it may have gotten lost on the red carpet at the Met Gala.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Fan Bingbing In Christopher Bu & Robert Pattinson in Dior Homme

BDOTW 11 may

Fan Bingbing was the clear favourite this week wearing a breath-taking gown by Christopher Bu, who was inspired by the worldly known Chinese ancient imperial palace: the Forbidden City.

Proving that he can scrub up well when the occasion requires, Robert Pattinson looked both polished and handsome in his Dior Homme three-piece tuxedo to take the menswear prize.

Fan Bingbing In Christopher Bu – 2015 Met Gala

Fan Bingbing In Chris by Christopher Bu - 2015 Met Gala

Fan Bingbing took an impressive spin down the red carpet of the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4)

Wearing a look from one of her favoured go-to designers, Christopher Bu, the Chinese actress was exquisite in a golden-bronze embellished column gown.

Despite the high-octane shine of the dress, the ornately embroidered, jewel-toned cape was the most riveting piece of the ensemble, which she styled perfectly with Chopard jewels and, of course, a Louis Vuitton clutch.

I was mesmerized by her entrance which was dazzlingly impressive enough for the Met while still walking on the right side of the theme and maintaining an aura of richly refined elegance, unlike some of the ensembles we saw last night.
