Who Wore Delpozo Better…Fan Bingbing or Gugu Mbatha-Raw?

Who Wore Delpozo Better Fan Bingbing or Gugu Mbatha-Raw

Back in May, Fan Bingbing wore a gorgeous Delpozo Spring 2014 strapless printed gown while promoting her latest movie, ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, before British actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw donned the same gown while promoting her new movie, ‘Beyond the Lights’, during Toronto Film Festival.

This for me is a very easy win for Gugu.

Not only is her look crumple-free (unlike Bingbing’s), the gown doesn’t overwhelm her and falls elegantly to the floor, whereas Bingbing isn’t quite tall enough to pull off this look.

No wonder she loves those stacked heels so much.

Fan Bingbing In Ralph & Russo Couture – Harper’s Bazaar China Charity Gala

Fan Bingbing In Ralph & Russo Couture - Harper's Bazaar China Charity Gala

Fan Bingbing took to the red carpet this evening (September 19) for the Harper’s Bazaar China Charity Gala in China.

Channelling her inner Hollywood goddess, she stunned wearing a Ralph & Russo Spring 2014 Couture off-white wool crepe dress with pearl and crystal diamond-patterned embellishment.

The dress is gorgeous, the hair and makeup breathtaking, but the accessories let her down.

I could perhaps forgive the Chopard necklace on such a glamorous night, but the black and cream Louis Vuitton bag and pink glitter shoes? No.

The bag could’ve got a pass had it been smaller, because it does complement the pattern on her dress (and as the face of the Fall 2014 campaign I guess it was somewhat mandatory), but the shoes shall get no such pass.

Fan Bingbing In Valentino – Valentino Beijng Yintai Store Opening

Valentino Opens New Store At Beijing Yintai Centre

Fan Bingbing was on hand to lend some glamour to the opening of the new Valentino store in Beijng Yintai in China on Friday (September 12).

With plenty of Bingbing-esque Valentino princess gowns at her disposal, the actress opted for something a bit more modern.

Fringe detail can be hit or miss, but I’m totally enamoured by her luxe leather double-breasted Resort 2015 coat which sees a classic style and silhouette turned into something fresh and new for the actress.

Sweeping her raven locks to one side in a braided ponytail, she completed her look with a deep red lip.

With so much going on north of her ankles, you can’t begrudge the platform heels on this occasion, which are modest by her standards.

Fan Bingbing In Tadashi Shoji – FIA Formula E Championship Greater China Operation Launch

Fan Bingbing In Tadashi Shoji - FIA Formula E Championship Greater China Operation Launch

Fan Bingbing attended an operation launch event of the FIA Formula E Championship on Thursday (September 11) in Beijing, China.

The actress looked beautiful wearing a black and white striped lace long-sleeved shirtwaist blouson gown with collar and front-slit details from Tadashi Shoji’s Resort 2015 collection.

I love how this striped sensation cuts a clean silhouette and is long enough to cover what I’m certain are black platform pumps.

Her makeup was kept simple, with a glossy pout and sleek tresses completing her relaxed yet chic look.

Fan Bingbing In Louis Vuitton – Vogue’s Fashion Night Out

Fan Bingbing, who currently graces the September 2014 issue of Vogue China, attended Vogue’s Fashion Night Out in Beijing, China on Sunday (August 31), joining editor-in-chief Angelica Cheung.

Much like on the cover, Bingbing wore a Louis Vuitton Fall 2014 dress, this time selecting a tri-colour long-sleeved look accented with suede panels, an exposed zipper and a wraparound belt.

Perhaps one of the few to don a Louis Vuitton Fall 2014 look sans the leather booties, the actress stayed true to form, styling her look with platform pumps.

A Louis Vuitton bag , Chopard jewels, kohl-rimmed eyes and a simple side-parted ponytail rounded out her look.

Who Wore Carolina Herrera Better…Sarah Paulson or Fan Bingbing?

Who Wore Carolina Herrera Better Sarah Paulson or Fan Bingbing

Sarah Paulson looked divine while gliding down the red carpet for the 2013 Emmy Awards dressed in a vibrant raspberry Carolina Herrera Fall 2013 plunging gown accented with a sweet bow detail.

Fan Bingbing wore the same gown earlier this week, opting for a more modest plunge while promoting Konka’s new LED Smart TV.

While I wish Sarah had worn her hair up, I do prefer her unmodified version of the gown so she wins for me.
