Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Here is the final round up from the 2011 Met Gala.

Salma Hayek wore a costume Alexander McQueen peach organza rose dress. We have all questioned her McQueen choices in the past, but this type of gown is perfect for her. She accessorized with a McQueen clutch and Gucci jewels.

Margherita Missoni is her own best brand ambassador. She was glowing wearing an ombre Missoni Fall 2011 knit dress with a feathered skirt.

Sofia Vergara wore a Carolina Herrera strapless blossom print faille gown. Like Renee she’s found the perfect designer for her. So refreshing not to see her twins spilling out.

Anna Dello Russo chose a masculine military Alexander McQueen look which included a black duchesse satin tailcoat, white shirt and gold fern embroidered pants.

I love the look, she’s been doing the masculine thing a lot lately, but that Egg on her head is bordering on GaGa terrority. Ridiculous.

Evan Rachel Wood continues to promote her new movie, “The Conspirator” on MTVs ‘The Seven’ in New York City this week.

The face of ‘Gucci Guilty’ donned a Gucci Spring 2011 all black look.

She took one element from the runway, which was the exquisite embellished short sleeved top and added a thinner black belt and flared pants.

I think the reason she broken down the look is because it has quite a military feel to it on the runway, and perhaps that wasn’t quite the look she was going for.

Whilst I prefer the runway belt with the signature tassels, the belt she wore perfectly complements the look.

My only personal bug-bear is that I find the pants to be too long.

Evan Rachel Wood continues to give us a 70′s vibe on the red carpet at “The Conspirator” New York Premiere.

I love her burnt orange Gucci Fall 2011 dress.

She makes this long sleeve dress with a plunging neckline uber sexy with her undeniable confidence on the red carpet.

I wish she didn’t opt for the brown leather Gucci Fall 2011 boots as I don’t like how slouchy they look.

Evan wore her hair down sporting subtle curls which framed her face and pink glossy lips.

A long gold pendant necklace and a small black clutch completed her look.

Evan Rachel Wood was in Washington DC yesterday to attend the premiere of her latest movie, “The Conspirator.”

The blonde actress wore a beautiful multi coloured Jill Stuart Fall 2011 printed dress with a neck tie detail.

I love this whimsical silhouette as its classic with a funky twist, but this dress is more suitable in an office than on a red carpet.

As a former PA this is something I would’ve worn to the office, never on the red carpet.

This look has ‘Joan Holloway’ all over it.

I do however love Evan’s Gucci suede rust peep-toes.

A black Ferragmo clutch completed her look.

Just when I was having the Monday blues from not having anything really exciting to report this weekend, up pops Evan Rachel Wood.

The blonde actress was in New York City tonight walking the red carpet at the “Mildred Pierce” Premiere.

She opted for a plum Elie Saab dress from the Fall 2011 collection.

The long sleeve jersey with a thigh high split is paired with matching plum peep-toe platforms with a double ankle strap from the same collection.

Her jewels perfectly complement the embellished detail on her hip.

The Gothic princess is perfection in plum with a gorgeous rouge lips completing her look.

Evan Rachel Wood will be presenting an award at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards tonight.

She took to the red carpet wearing a one sleeved Gucci Resort 2011 dress – unsurprisingly as she’s the face of ‘Gucci Guilty’.

What was surprising was how much I didn’t really like it because Evan has great style.

Her olive ombre animal print Gucci dress isn’t the issue, because it works well with her moody persona and flame red hair.

I just don’t like the thigh-high boots.

Firstly because they look a tad baggy. Secondly they don’t work with her dress and thirdly I just don’t like thigh-high boots.

Evan Rachel Wood first wore this Gucci dress back in June to Hollywood Life’s 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards and I love what she’s done with it.

Bare legs, check. Red nails, check. Cinched in waist, check. Great accessories check. My only complaint would to be to say she could have picked a more exciting shoe.

When Pixie wore this dress to the Q Awards in October I wished she’d left her tights at home.

I’m also not completely sure what’s going on with the flowers in her hair?! However, this dress does really suit her rock chick vibe. I just wish she’s styled it better.

Shakira was last to wear this Gucci number in November to the Bambi Awards and it’s left me in two minds.

I think she wore it well, teaming it with simple accessories and knee high boots but I just don’t understand those tights! Am I missing the point or do they scream ‘ice skater’ to anyone else?!

For me, Evan Rachel Wood wins this style battle. She’s worn this sequined number with the boldness it deserves.
