Evan Rachel Wood has grown up in the spotlight, so we’ve seen her red carpet transformation from an awkward teen, to Dita von Tesse’s mini me, to the confident woman we see gracing the red carpet today.

Evan has worn many brands from Dolce & Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier and who can forget her stunning Elie Saab gown at the 2009 Oscars.

Lately I’ve noticed that Rachel seems to be favouring one brand in particular - Gucci.

It all started at the “Hollywood Life’s 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards” were she wore a sexy black and silver Gucci Fall 2009 dress.

She then went on to wearing a navy suit to the “Swarovski Crystallized Concept Store Opening” in New York, which many of you adored.

Wearing a one-of-a-kind Gucci burgundy gown she glowed on the red carpet at “Fashion Group International’s 26th Annual Night Of Stars” last week, and the following day she wore sexy green and black sparkling mini from the Fall 2009 collection.

I would say she’s hooked.

It must be refreshing for her to wear looks that are less structured, if I compare them to her Dita von Teese phase.

With these looks she can be edgy, sexy and sophisticated.

I wonder what she will pick next.

Evan Rachel Wood seems to be the Gucci girl of the moment.

On this occasion she wore a one shoulder mini Gucci Fall 2009 dress which has already been worn on the red carpet.

Her sparkling dress was covered in green and black striped crystals which she belted as per the runway.

She paired her mini dress with a large black cuff and black multi-strap high-heeled sandals to toughen up her gorgeous look.

Claire Danes is not much of a dare devil on the red carpet, so I’m not surprised she opted for one of the pieces from the Gucci Resort 2010 collection and not the rock chick Fall 2009 collection.

Her stripy lemon and blue dress already has me wishing for summer 2010, but her Gucci triple platform pumps had me wishing she’d picked another pair of heels to go with this summery dress.

Frida Giannini hosted this event, and like Donatella Versace in the previous post, Frida is already sporting her own Spring 2010 collection.

The Creative Director wore a simple black ensemble including skinny pants, and a black blazer with an interesting fringed detail on the shoulders.

Poppy Delevigne wore a silver Gucci Fall 2009 over-sized tunic top paired with black leggings.

This is quite a casual look, but not too casual to make her look like she shouldn’t have walked the red carpet at this event.

Mischa Barton looks good.

She keeps on smiling no matter what life throws at her.

The star worked a black sequined long-sleeved dress with plunging neckline.

Red carpet ankle boots as standard.

It’s not often I’m wowed by Mary J Blige, but this is very much a wow moment.

The singer looked stunning wearing a black Gucci Spring 2010 halter gown with jeweled leather harness neckline detail.

Truly outstanding.

Potato sack is the first thing that springs to mind when I see Eva Mendes wearing her modified slouchy grey Calvin Klein Spring 2010 dress.

I personally preferred the dress on the runway, but it’s just not a red carpet look.

And as if the look wasn’t bad enough she adds shoe-boots to the mix.

Iman wows again for the 3rd time in a row wearing a dusty rose Michael Kors sparkler.

I say it every time, but its amazing how ridiculously gorgeous this woman looks every time she hits the red carpet.

Emmy Rossum’s blew me away looking speculator wearing a draped golden Donna Karan gown which make her look like a Grecian goddess.

Evan Rachel Wood smoldered in a burgundy Gucci gown with antique gold fringe detail on on sleeve.

She looked poised and elegant with her hair swept back into an slick updo, pairing the gown with a gold python clutch with bamboo tassel detail to match her dress.

Gucci ’s Creative Director Frida Giannini received a “Design Star Honoree” award at this event.

Wearing a self-designed Gucci mini dress paired with a Gucci clutch and Gucci Fall 2009 heels, she posed with James Franco and Mary J Blige who both wore Gucci.

A very demure Gwen Stefani wore a LBD  with a rise and fall hem, paired with YSL black patent Trib Two’s and her L.A.M.B clutch.

I was trying to work out what was so different about Gwen’s look, then it hit me.

She’s not wearing her trademark red lipstick, instead she opted for a nude shade.

Although I like this look, she has totally thrown me by being so unpredictable.

Dita von Teese was typically beautiful sticking to her trademark red lip.

The Burlesque beauty wore a black vintage gown, with a head piece by Stephen Jones.

The “Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Annual Installation Luncheon” is the event so show-off a cute cocktail dress.

This is not the right occasion for a full-length gown, which is why Emmy Rossum wore a stunning mini white version of the silvery Carolina Herrera Resort 2010 gown presented on the runway.

Talk about a knock-out. Emmy just gets better and better for me. I barely remember the girl that used to dress like she was going to the prom for every event.

She looks sexy, confident and for some reason taller. But I just guess that because she’s showing off her toned legs and wearing nude Jimmy Choo ‘Seattle’ platforms.

Evan Rachel Wood posed on the red carpet wearing a red, black and white dot printed halter dress, with a black belt to give it some shape.

The star wore the same Jimmy Choo ‘Gesture’ platforms as Britney Spears at the Teen Choice Awards, whilst carrying a black clutch.

Her flame red hair was swept back into a classic updo.

Rose McGowan opted for a white jersey cap sleeve Balenciaga Resort 2009 dress.

The fitted dress is printed with rows of tiny black dots, and is gathered on the hip and bodice giving Rose’s curves even more definition.

She paired her dress with a dazzling embellished clutch and tan pumps.

Jordana Brewster goes back to her cute ways after a sexier look at the Teen Choice Awards.

The actress who wears her hair in a ponytail 90% of the time she steps on the red carpet, wore a Naeem Khan Resort 2009 ensemble consisting of a navy cashmere scoop neck tank with jeweled edging around the neckline, paired with a navy bell-shaped paillette embroidered skirt with a black satin waistband.

Black accessories complete the look.

Carla Gugino wore a satin black jersey wrap Reem Acra dress with a jeweled detail on the hip.

We recently saw Katherine Heigl wear the electric blue runway version on Letterman.

Sergio Rossi T-bar sandals and a black clutch complete the look.

Kerry Washington never lets me down on the red carpet.

I adore her in this girlie pink Camilla & Marc halter dress, which she teams matching box clutch and Miu Miu snakeskin pumps.

Make-up, hair, everything is flawless.  *sighs*

Eva Longoria also wore Reem Acra. Her black dress was covered with rosette details embroidered onto the bodice.

It’s a nice dress, but I would have loved to see her wear something more colourful.

Trib Two’s are standard.

Striking her favourite head slightly tilted pose, Blake Lively looked stunning on the red carpet wearing a white Roberto Cavalli dress from the Spring 2009 collection.

I’m glad she opted for the white shorter version and not the runway version, as she simply glows in this dress.

The dress is open at the back with black mesh panels on the side of the dress.

Just got out of bed hair and black studded Manolo Blahnik Creo heels complete this sexy look.

Last time out many of you commented that Evan Rachel Wood was slipping back to her Dita von Teese “copy cat” ways, well this is a complete 180.

Evan wore a Gucci Fall 2009 ensemble consisting of a midnight blue check boxy jacket with matching cigarette pants striking quite a masculine stance.

She also wore a striped shirt with black/white check collar and black pumps to complete the look.

Dita who?

This is the second outing for Chloe Sevigny’s camel Chloé scallop edged short suit.  This time she wears it with a multi-coloured sequined top and strappy two-tone sandals.

Lucy Liu brightens up the red carpet - as she always does - wearing a bold red cape Paul & Joe dress with a matching patent belt.

Her look is contrasted with neutral accessories including a white Prada bag and nude Jimmy Choo heels.

I’m glad she didn’t opt for red lips as it would have been too obvious. Nude lips work beautifully here.

Blade at Miami Beach’s Fontainebleau Hotel

Kate Hudson looked bootylicious in a figure-hugging white Herve Leger bandage dress whilst having a night out with boyfriend A-Rod this weekend.

The dress showed-off her gorgeous curves, but I’m still not loving her brunette locks.

Self Magazine July 2009 L.A. Issue Party, LA

Speaking of fabulous bodies. Every time I see AnnaLynne McCord she makes me feel guilty for not working out more because she has an amazing toned body.

The actress opted for a dark chocolate brown dress with a black shoulder strap and strappy sandals.

I’m loving her silver dangling earrings.

“Whatever Works” Paris Premiere

Evan Rachel Wood was suitably chic for the Paris premiere of her new film “Whatever Works”, looking effortlessly gorgeous wearing a stunning black D&G dress with open shoulders and plunging neckline.

Her look was paired with matching black Louboutin peep-toes and a glittering House of Lavande diamante bracelet .

Rachel’s smoky eye make-up adds to the sultry feel to her look. The only thing I don’t like is her tattoo on her ankle.

“The Narrows” New York Premiere

I’m not really crazy about Sophia Bush’s look. I would have expected a lot more from her for her premiere.

The beautiful brunette wore a silver round neck tulip dress with a black patent YSL Fall 2008 belt and YSL Trib Two heels.

Kylie Minogue and Dita von Teese are both big fans of Jean Paul Gaultier’s work.

Kylie will often wear his custom designs on stage, whereas Dita will wear his pieces on the red carpet.

Evan Rachel Wood has managed to shake off the Dita comparisons in recent months, and I don’t get any Dita vibes from this look.

The actress wore a sophisticated Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2009 criss cross halter black dress to the New York screening of “Whatever Works” last night.

The belted dress has a fishnet overlay, which you can see via the cut out panel on her thigh.

Her look was completed with her red hair tied back, with a few pieces framing her face, black Louboutin peep-toes, and a dark grey sparkling VBH Venus Clutch.

She opted for rosy shimmering pink lips, when she could have easily opted for red.

I love this look.  She looks very mature, sophisticated and elegant.
