Canon's Project Imaginat10n Film Festival

Canon’s Project Imaginat10n Film Festival at Alice Tully Hall in New York City was something of a Marchesa fest yesterday evening.

Georgina Chapman: Led by the designer herself, Georgina wore a black Fall 2013 fitted column-style Marchesa tulle cocktail dress with all-over floral embroidery and draped off-shoulder sleeves styled with signature accessories: Christian Louboutin pumps and a Marchesa quartz-clasp clutch. A half-up half-down hairdo perfected this romantic look.

Eva Longoria: As always, I gave a big sigh before writing out a critique for Eva Longoria. What she gives via her lush Marchesa raspberry strapless cocktail dress with 3D silk ribbon roses and bugle-bead twine embroidery along the neckline, she takes away with the oversized floral-print Marchesa envelope clutch.

Dree Hemingway: The model had no such issue, looking heavenly wearing a pale-blue slip dress with asymmetrical organza ruffles with a pale-blue organza collared tee shirt overlay. Opting to go matchy-matchy with the Marchesa clutch and glitter sandals, she added a vampy rouge lip colour to her stunning look.

Abigail Spencer: Rounding out a quartet of dames in Marchesa cocktail dresses, the ‘Suits’ actress wore a red strapless fitted frock with tonal French-knot and chenille threadwork embroidery, which she also styled with a Marchesa clutch, and white pumps to ensure the trend doesn’t die.

I do love each of the looks; it’s such a shame Eva’s styling let the side down, but 3 out of 4 ain’t bad.

Eva Longoria In Elie Saab - Eva Longoria Foundation Dinner

After donning eight looks for the 2013 NCLA ALMA Awards on Friday evening, Eva Longoria opted for just the one look while hosting a charity dinner for her foundation at her restaurant Beso in Hollywood, California on Saturday evening.

The actress turned to Elie Saab again, selecting a pink long-sleeved dress with sheer panels from his Spring 2013 collection.

Nude Christian Louboutin ankle-strap pumps and diamond-and-gold Martin Katz jewels accessorized the look, with Eva joining Sarah Hyland and Sandra Bullock in lightening her brunette locks.

While I like the colour on Eva, I’m not a fan of the dress itself as it feels too revealing and suggestive for a charity event.

Eva Longoria ALMA Awards 2013 copy

Following her Zuhair Murad red carpet look at the 2013 NCLA ALMA Awards, Eva Longoria commenced her co-hosting gig with Mario Lopez, where she proved she was the ultimate quick-change artist—and a fashionable one at that. The glam chameleon showed off not one, not two, but a lucky seven looks, some of which even managed to venture outside her standard style box.

Elie Saab: Shining brightly in an Elie Saab Fall 2013 coral, cap-sleeve gown‎, Eva dazzled in this beaded, embellished design that was radiating an Art Deco vibe. The only accessories needed for this dress, which sparkled from a mile away, were diamond stud earrings and a casually cool, wavy ponytail.

Randi Rahm: She also swept onto the stage in a flowing halter dress by Randi Rahm in the most engaging shade of emerald, which she attempted to match to her sandals. The rich, jewel-tone hue really captured my attention here.

Etro: Strutting out a look that was more her traditional style, Eva stunned in black, off-the-shoulder column dress from Etro’s Fall 2013 collection. The sharp, architectural structure of the plunging, V-neck bodice—and the fact that she didn’t clutter the design with unnecessary jewels—really made this look one of my favourites.

Eva Longoria In Zuhair Murad - 2013 NCLR ALMA Awards

Before hitting the 2013 NCLA ALMA Awards stage for her co-hosting duties with Mario Lopez, Eva Longoria made her red-carpet entrance yesterday evening at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California.

Playing the ultimate lady in red, the actress sizzled in a curve-hugging, crimson Zuhair Murad Fall 2013 leather- and lace-embellished gown, which I actually preferred from the back.

Even with the sheer detail, the front of the mock-turtleneck, long-sleeve dress could have easily overwhelmed this petite powerhouse, so I’m glad she swept her locks into a messy updo to go with her sultry, smokey eyes and nude pout.

Did you like her red-hot attempt, or was it another expected entrance from this Latina lovely?

Eva Longoria In Pamella Roland - 'El Sueno De Esperanza' Gala

Eva Longoria attended the Padres Contra El Cancer 13th Annual ‘El Sueno De Esperanza’ Gala in Los Angeles, California yesterday evening.

It’s at moments like this when I realise that Eva just doesn’t understand her body type; I mean, why would someone so petite wear this Pamella Roland Spring 2013 dress, which makes her look so bottom heavy?

I’m truly baffled. With the lacklustre styling, unfortunate makeup and perplexing updo it was a bad night all round for Eva.

Eva Longoria In Kymerah - Extra

Eva Longoria showed off her gorgeous gams last week while making a guest appearance on ‘Extra’ – which is hosted at The Grove in West Hollywood – to promote the season finale of the show she produces, ‘Devious Maids’, which will be renewed for a second season.

She was reunited with BFF Mario Lopez, host of ‘Extra’, who will also be her co-host for the 2013 ALMA Awards on September 27.

Opting for a head-to-toe nude look, she wore Kymerah’s ‘Mendel’ draped blouse and ‘Sigmund’ shorts from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection with Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps and the addition of gold jewels.

Wavy ombre tresses and a light-coral lip colour completed her look.

As someone who is feeling the fall chill on this side of the pond, this look has me longing for sunnier climes.
