Eva Longoria In Clarité – Late Night with Seth Meyers

Eva Longoria had a spring in her step for her ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ appearance on Tuesday (August 8), where she talked about Serena Williams 1950s-themed baby shower.

Style-wise, it appears that Eva has turned a new leaf.

Gone are the ice-skater frocks and 36 inch-long trousers, and in comes two good looks in a row.

This look came courtesy of Clarité, a French label making its Fall 2017 debut.

While I wish Eva wore her hair up considering the high-neckline, I love how this look is super girlie, chic, fun and vibrant. Bringing back the Eva Longoria I know and love.

Fingers crossed this good fortune continues.

Eva Longoria In Georges Chakra Couture – 2017 ACE Awards

ACE Awards Style Ambassador honoree Eva Longoria attended the 21st Annual Ace Awards on Monday (August 7) in New York City.

You may be digesting the fact that Eva was honored with a style award, but I’m too busy being grateful that she selected the tamer version of this Georges Chaka Fall 2017 Couture piece.

Frankly, I’m not sure who could pull off the runway version, but keeping things simple works well for Eva.

Eva Longoria In Antonio Grimaldi Couture – The Global Gift Gala Marbella

Eva Longoria hosted the Global Gift Gala on Sunday (July 16) in Marbella, Spain.

Once again I find myself asking, “are there any mirrors where Eva resides?”

I don’t hate this nude one-shoulder sheer Couture gown from Antonio Grimaldi, I just dislike what it’s doing to Eva.

If a gown is making you look shorter and/or wider, it’s time to pick something else off the rack.

Eva is a beautiful woman and you only have to look back a to 2013 Cannes Film Festival to see how she can turn it out when she wants to, but at present, I feel like she’s continually going from bad to worse – even when I think it can’t get much worse; she finds a new level.

Eva Longoria In Elie Saab – 2017 amfAR Gala Cannes

Eva Longoria attended the amfAR Gala during the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (May 25).

The actress wore a beautifully crafted Elie Saab gown with diamond jewels to accent.

After a stunning first turn at Cannes, Eva has put forward two very disappointing looks, and I’m afraid this one is only slightly better in my book.

It pains me to say it about an Elie Saab gown, but this just isn’t fabulous on Eva. The gown itself is stunning, but it makes Eva look boxy. Perhaps if the bodice was altered a bit, it would help?

Her hair isn’t helping matters, either. Those ultra-curled tendrils are very prom, and very wrong.

Am I being too harsh, or do you agree?

Eva Longoria In Balmain – L’Oreal’s 20th Birthday Gala

Eva Longoria attended L’Oreal’s 20th birthday gala on Wednesday (May 24) during Cannes Film Festival.

Do you know what’s the worst thing about Eva in this Balmain dress?

That I’ll never be able to unsee it.

Emily Ratajkowski has a contender for WDOTY.

Eva was joined at the event by a host of models who were all decked out in Balmain including Neelam Gill, Maria Borges, Alexina Graham, Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou, Lara Stone, Bianca Balti, Doutzen Kroes, Irina Shayk, and Cindy Bruna.

I can’t say I’m a fan of any of these looks excluding Cindy.

Eva Longoria In Pamella Roland – Cannes Film Festival 70th Anniversary Celebration

I loved Eva Longoria’s Marchesa look yesterday evening, and I was hopeful that she had made her annual 180 degree shift fashion-wise and was going to continue to deliver throughout the festival.

Well that came to a screaming halt for the 70th anniversary celebration of Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 23).

For someone who has tread this carpet for several years, she should know that this Pamella Roland dress won’t work for Cannes.

It’s far to sombre for the occasion and I detest that high neckline. It almost looks like a turtleneck on her.

I think I’m going to let the “she’ll pull it back during Cannes” dream die, because let’s face it, she hasn’t really done so for a few years now.
