Jamie-Lynn Sigler glowed in her shimmering Donna Karan plunging gown.

Sandra Oh was in my top 5 Best Dressed of the night wearing a gold embroidered Marchesa strapless gown.

This has to be one of her best ever looks on the red carpet.

Jeanne Tripplehorn wore a custom-made Naeem Khan rose gold pebble sequin cap sleeve dress with ruched front pegged skirt.

Her look was paired with gold Louboutin heels.

Eva La Rue makes up for her ALMA’s disaster by wearing a gold silk Ysa Makino gown, with a pleated front and a chunky crystal neckline.

Best Dressed Award
It’s been a while but Selena Gomez finally wears something that I really love, as she had been dressed older than her teen years.

I adore her pink Tracy Reese Black Label gown, especially the cute petals adorning the bodice and shoulder.

It’s the perfect gown for her both the colour and style.

Best Spring 2010 Red Carpet Debut Award
Jordana Brewster picked a stunning gown from Reem Acra’s recently presented Spring 2010 collection.

The strapless draped canary yellow gown is such an ethereal colour which adds warmth of her skin.

Perfect choice for her.

Back to Black Award
After having a very brief flirtation as a blonde, Nelly Furtado goes back to her natural darker hair colour.

She looked stunning last night wearing Elie Saab Fall 2009 black halter-neck gown with contrasting lace panel for a provocative twist.

This is her second Elie Saab look in a row.

Slightly Disappointed, But I Do Like It Award
I expected a big gown from Eva Longoria on this red carpet, but I guess she was saving them for the show.

The host for the night opted for a strapless taupe paillette covered column Oscar de la Renta dress - which slightly squash the twins - paired taupe heels.

Her hair and neutral make-up are perfect for this look.

Best Non-Supported Actress Award

Jennifer Morrison should really have worn a bra with her Herve Leger cream gown, because the twins are looking a wee bit lopsided.

Once I got over that I could appreciated how stunning she looks.

She could have easily opted for a neutral make-up, but added a dash of red to the lips for a more sultry look.

Frizz Ease Award
Dania Ramirez’ also wore a canary yellow gown, but hers was by Pamella Roland.

I love the gown and the criss-crossing ruched detail on the bodice, but girlfriend needs some serum in her hair to control that frizz.

De Ja Vu Award
Jamie-Lynn Sigler wore a gown earlier this week in exactly the same colour, but this time her gown is strapless.

I’m more excited by the necklace than the gown.

Most Disappointing Award
Salma Hayek would normally proudly show-off the twins, wear a stunning gown, or do both.

This is not a look I would associate with Salma.

The shorter velvet deep lilac modified Bottega Veneta Fall 2009 dress is hideous and so over accessorized with the two necklaces and jewled headband.

YSL metallic Trib Two heels and a matching Bottega Veneta box clutch completes this terrible look.  I really hate it.

Worst Dressed Award
I was surprised Eva La Rue was wearing a Zuhair Murad gown, because this gown is very Las Vegas show girl to me.

From the colour to the embellished neckline, it just screams tacky.

What is it with the lack of support on this red carpet?

February 23rd, 2009

Claire Danes is gorgeous wearing a Zac Posen Spring 2009 nude dress, with cap sleeves and a black lace overlay with an asymmetrical hem.

Natalia Vodianova arrived with her husband wearing a holey wool Calvin Klein Fall 2009 one-sleeved dress which looked like lace, with two tone peep-toes.

I adore this silk blue Ralph Lauren gown that Olivia Wilde is wearing.

She completes her look with a Daniel Swarovski clutch.

Victoria Beckham arrived looking outstanding wearing a black jersey dress, with sequined shoulders from her own Fall 2009 recently presented collection.

What is up with Eva Longoria and dark colours lately? Bring back the bubblegum pinks, and baby blues immediately.

Having said that, I LOVE this suit on her. She looks fantastic, and this is the best her hair has looked in a long while.

OMG…this is exactly the dress I picked from the Georges Chakra Spring 2009 Couture collection for Carrie Underwood. I knew she would love this, as it’s just her style.

The silver one shoulder dress has strands of Swarovski crystal and pearls which is just exquisite.

She completes her look with a matching Mary Norton clutch.

Sharon Stone wore a black Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2009 lace gown.

It would be hard to wear a bra or nipple covers with this dress, but Sharon could have at least modified the dress with an extra layer, so we were not exposed to her nipples.

Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon wore a stunning gown by up and coming designer Rafael Cennamo. The beautiful black asymmetrical one shoulder gown, had silver pailettes along the bust and strap.

Outstanding, as always.

Rashida Jones wore a sequined taupe sleeveless 3.1 Phillip Lim Ruffle cocoon dress, with pewter strappy sandals.

Eva La Rue’s strapless figure-hugging dress, is incredibly sexy. I love the nude underlay against her caramel skin.

Gina Gershon is wearing the same body-hugging Roberto Cavalli black gown with jeweled detail on the bust, which she wore Tony Awards back in June last year.

Eve’s wore an azure blue halter gown.

Rachel Griffiths wore a 60s vintage Geoffrey Beene gown from Decades Inc. with Roger Vivier shoes, a Lambertson Truex clutch and Neil Lane jewels.

A great look for the mother-to-be.

What happened to Dita von Teese?

This is two in a row that I dislike. The colour and the right side of the Christian Lacroix Fall 2008 Couture dress I really dislike.

This has to be one of the best dresses I have ever seen on Jada Pinkett-Smith.

The colour is divine, the sequin detailing is dazzling and the poufy skirt is so cute.

She is already a contender for Best Dressed this week.

Kerry Washington also knocks it out of the fashion ball park with this stunning Oscar de la Renta strapless terracotta and ivory gown.

She wears a pair of dazzling earrings to match the dress.

Eva La Rue wore a canary yellow dress, which could double up as a chemise.

Star Jones continues to defy her years by wearing a cute white and black trimmed polo shirt dress, that would be more suitable for a girl half her age, but she wears it well enough.

E! presenter Giuliana Rancic, was the first to wear this Robert Rodriguez tiered ruffle dress when she was on presenting duties at the Sex And The City: The Movie premiere in New York back in May. (Wow time flies, the premiere doesn’t seem that long ago.)

Giuliana wore her dress with a pair of Christian Louboutin Glitter slingbacks, which helped her feet sparkle as much as her massive wedding ring.

Eva La Rue wore the same dress to the 23rd Annual Imagen Awards in LA last week.

She wore tan embellished shoes, carried a silver clutch and wore her hair back.

Despite me preferring Giuliana’s shoes, Eva wins this for me because with her hair back, you get to see more of the dress.

Her neck appears longer, and therefore she looks more elegant and statuesque.

This Robert Rodriguez tiered ruffle dress is currently on sale for only $237.

23rd Annual Imagen Awards, LA

Selena Gomez looks so cute wearing a slinky teal one-shouldered dress, with a interlaced pleated bodice, which has a ruffled detail, and a draped overlay skirt.

She completes her look with white tipped pumps.

Eva La Rue looked very flirty wearing a dove cream Robert Rodriguez tiered ruffle dress.

The CSI Miami actress swept her hair back in a elegant updo, which allowed us to take in the beautiful shape of this cocktail dress.

The only thing that lets her down is her choice of shoes.

Dania Ramirez looks to have bathed in bronzer, but this does not take anything away from her beautiful strapless black tulle Farah Angsana dress with feathered and Swarovski crystal hem.

She completed her look with a Swarovski silver clutch.

“Traitor” Premiere, New York

Aubrey O’Day follows Rihanna, Cassie and Amerie who have all worn this Elizabeth & James Plume Feather Vest, but they all wore it in black.

Like Cassie, Aubrey wore her vest without a top. Unfortunately for Aubrey I can see her boob job scars, so maybe she should have worn a top after all. She completes this train-wreak with a pair of snake-skin knee-high boots.

As Michael Kors would say “Slutty, Slutty, Slutty“.

36th Lifetime Life Achievement Award Presented to Warren Beatty, LA

Eva Mendes wore a navy corduroy strapless dress to this event.

Corduroy is not a material we see a lot on the red carpet, in fact I can’t remember when I last saw anyone wear corduroy on the red carpet.

This dress is just OK for me. I much prefer Eva in brighter colours.

Amerie attended this event in a beautiful ivory plunge-neck Georges Chakra Fall 2007 gown, which is gathered at the hem.

ELLE Awards, Barcelona

Monica Cruz sizzles in this Elie Saab Spring 2007 beaded plunging gold gown, but Beyonce wore this dress better in my opinion.

Amber Valletta is shimmering in this cowl-neck sequined Stella McCartney gown.

Golden Nymph Awards, 2008 Monte Carlo Television Festival, Monaco

I like the idea of Becki Newton’s emerald green Rami Kashou Fall 2007 Grecian dress. I just wish she had adjusted it better as it looks a little off center.

Kim Kardashian for once does not look like a streetwalker wearing this navy blue Emanuel Ungaro gown with beaded turquoise straps and a chiffon train.

Lisa Edelstein also opted for a navy dress. Hers was a strapless pleated dress, which gathered at the hip with a jeweled brooch.

Opening of Beckley Boutique, LA

Ana Ortiz lets her hair down at this opening wearing a maroon body-hugging dress with a crossover detail on the front.

Eva La Rue keeps it simple in a white smock dress, with a matching tote and nude sandals.

Sarah Chalke wore all black, but her dress had ivory stripes for detail.

“The Rocker” Screening, Las Vegas

Cutey Emma Stone wore a turquoise Jay Godfrey strapless dress with a tonal ruffled trim, which she wore with gold peep-toes and a gold clutch.

“We Are Together” Premiere, New York

An overly moisturized Alicia Keys, wore this metallic sweetheart necklined dress with very large hooped earrings.
