Sophie Ellis-Bextor charmed in her Elie Saab Fall 2009 black embellished dress by adding a true signature Lulu Guinness hot red lips clutch.

I love the racy red strappy heels.  Some would have stuck to safe black.

On any other week she may have been up for BDOTW.

What a way to show off your post-baby body.

Kimora Lee Simmons used to make some questionable choices on the red carpet, but since dating Djimon Hounsou she appears to have left her ghetto fabulousness behind, and is giving us pure Fabulosity - to borrow her term.

She looks stunning in a Jenny Packham shimmering gold plunging gown which show off her twins, or as Teresa Giudice from “The Housewives of New Jersey” would call them “boobies”.

I think it must be ‘Cheryl Cole Appreciation Day’ today, because firstly Beyonce Knowles wore a similar David Koma dress to the X Factor judge.

Now Kimora is wearing the same Jenny Packham Fall 2010 Bridal jeweled hair accessory which Cheryl wore on week 3 of the X Factor with her Atelier Versace white gown.

Who would have thought little Cheryl Cole was just a trend-setter.

This satin Dolce & Gabbana mermaid gown keeps popping up on the red carpet like the Dolce & Gabbana tulle gowns.

Eva Herzigova opted to wear her green version off-the-shoulder.

Unfortunately the gown sits too low for my liking.

Rihanna, Rosario Dawson and Caterina Murino have all worn this same gown.

Elizabeth Hurley is usually wears knee-length dresses or thigh-high split gowns, so this fruity tangerine above-the-knee dress is a refreshing change.

She pairs her dress with Jimmy Choo gold heels and a matching clutch.

Cipriani Restaurant

Eva Herzigova was spotted…literally…leaving Cirpriani’s restaurant in Mayfair wearing a animal print Isabel Marant Fall 2009 dress.

The supermodel wore her dress with thick tights and ankle boots.

We’ve seen this dress worn by Rachel Weisz a few months ago.

The Times BFI London Film Festival: “Fantastic Mr. Fox” Opening Gala

Cindy Crawford was the only woman to shine so brightly on this red carpet.

The super wore a black deep v-neck Roberto Cavalli gown paired with Jimmy Choo Keenan patent leather sandals.

This is how you OWN a red carpet.

George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis faded into the background for me.

I’m so bored of the “girlfriends” he just happens to have in time for a new promotional tour.

Elisabetta is wearing one of the tackiest red carpet gowns I have seen this year, obviously she’s not getting the same allowance as Clooney’s last girlfriend who stepped out in Valentino Couture.

I can’t even bring myself to look at her shoes…just hideous.

Even when she’s slightly off-duty Thandie Newton is still totally gorgeous.

Myleene Klass was reporting live from this red carpet last night wearing a LBD.

She kept herself warm wearing a navy coat which had a massive corsage.

Tatler 300th Anniversary

Peaches Geldof wears Dolce & Gabbana two nights in a row.

This time she wears a black strapless tulle dress with a voluminous skirt.

Carla Gugino and Eva Herzigova have both worn this same dress in nude.

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson may look ridiculous in her totally see-through gown with boy shorts and gold pumps, but at least its not black like everyone else.

Wembley Stadium

WAG (nickname used for footballing Wives And Girlfriends) Abigail Clancy was spotted leaving Wembley Stadium after watching her lanky boyfriend Peter Crouch score 2 goals in England’s World Cup qualifier against Belarus.

The game ended 3-0, but the real winner was Abby in the style stakes as she paired a purple Louis Vuitton scarf, with a black blazer, grey jeans, open-toe booties and an Alexander Wang Coco Duffel bag.

Carla Gugino charmed the crowd at the world premiere of “Watchmen” held at the Odeon Leicester Square in London earlier this year, wearing a strapless Dolce & Gabbana nude strapless dress with a voluminous skirt.

I love the fact that she kept her neck bare, and I also love those bow detail on the bodice and the hem of the skirt.

Had this dress been longer, it would have made a stunning ball gown.

Gold heels and a gold clutch complete the look.

Eva Herzigova wore the same dress to the 2009 Costume Institute Gala with Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

When I look at Eva in this picture I’m immediately drawn to her deep maroon lipstick, the strappy heels and beaded necklace. I only notice the dress last.

With such a gorgeous dress there was no need for all those extras.

Carla kept it simple so she wins for me.

Kylie Minogue would’ve been the stand out guest, arriving wearing a hot pink strapless Dolce & Gabbana ruched cocktail dress, with an embellished belt, and gold heels.

Love the colour, and the confident sassy strut.

Eva Herzigova wore black sheer and lace cocktail Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009 dress with ruffled straps, and a sheer front panel.  The straps have been replace by the runway sleeves, but this modification makes the dress even more sexier.

Eva completes the look with black peep-toes, which are trimmed with lace.

Of all the looks Peaches Geldof has sported at Cannes, I love this one.  It much more her style, than those gowns she has been wearing.

This silver ruched Dolce & Gabbana cocktail dress, is very much like Kylie’s dress, but with square paillette detailed pom pom sleeves.

It must have been a busy night, because the hair, earrings and make-up all remain the same, from her previous events. Lucky girl.

I believe this is the image they should put in a dictionary, to describe ‘death warmed up’.

Pixie Geldof’s being pale is not the issue, its that heavy make-up which is so garish.

I do like her navy and white anchor print plunging halter D&G Spring 2009 gown, just not on her, but I’m glad she opted out of the pleated gold lamé fan pieces.

If you hate this look, it could’ve been worst, because she was spotted at Dolce & Gabbana’s store in London trying on a animal print gown.

Olivia Palermo decided to ignore the unwritten rule of courtesy, by wearing a light blue off-the-shoulder dress, not designed by her hosts.

Looking through the Dolce & Gabbana collection, I struggled to find a piece that I could’ve pictured her wearing, so I guess she made the right choice.

It’s a very pretty dress, and I adore the colour, which she accessorizes with silver jewels.

Of course she is wearing her favourite YSL tribute sandals. I guess she only packed one pair of heels for this trip.

Kerry Washington wore a Dolce & Gabbana silver cocktail dress with exaggerated off the shoulder sleeves.

Again, this is not a favourite Kerry Washington look for me.

Dita Von Teese sticks to her trademark polished style, with a black sequin Dolce & Gabbana dress, with exaggerated sleeves.

Her elbow-length lace gloves adding an extra touch of glamour, whilst her make-up was flawless, and her necklace was striking.

Claudia Schiffer wore a black strapless Dolce & Gabbana gown, with a black clutch, black peep-toes, and a single gold bracelet.

I know Carine Roitfeld is a style maven to many of you, so all I will say about this look is, we all have our bad days.

Donatella Versace looked sensational wearing her own slightly modified Atelier Versace Spring 2009 nude paillette covered gown, to the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner nearly two weeks ago.

Her gown didn’t have the same cut-out detail as the presented gown, which Eva Herzigova wore to the Looking For Eric premiere during Cannes Film Festival.

Eva’s make-up was to heavy, plus the fuschia peep-toes don’t work for me, so Donatella wins this.

British TV presenter Myleene Klass maybe the least known at this event, but she was by far the best dressed, wearing a nude strapless Jasper Conran Fall 2009 dress, with a organza floral detail on the skirt.

After Kirsty Gallacher let me down last week, Myleene is fast becoming my favourite Brit on the red carpet.

Nude Louboutin’s complete the look.

Peaches Geldof scrubs up well when she puts in the effort.

On this occasion she wore a white Paule Ka Fall 2009 bustier gown, with a black bow belt, which had white stitching.

She could have opted for different shoes from her previous party, but all in all, another good look for her, minus the tattoos.

Red Casadei heels, and an embellished Bulgari clutch complete the look.

Asia Argento shows off her Chopard bling, whilst wearing a black elegant Chanel gown.

Eva Herzigova wore a black strapless Roberto Cavalli dress which had cut-out details on the bodice, and a tulle poufy skirt, with Giuseppe Zanotti Special Edition crystal strap sandals in black.

She wore the silver version to the Costume Institute Gala.

Marion Cotillard’s look is simply elegant, but at the same time a little boring in this Lanvin strapless dress.

The good thing is god actually answers my prayers. I asked for Valentino at Cannes, and in the space of 48 hours we have seen 4 stunning gowns take to the red carpet.

The bad thing is, with Rachel Weisz wearing a very similar dress last night, this blue ombre high neck Valentino Fall 2009 gown which Evangeline Lilly is wearing, gives me a huge case of de ja vu.

This was one of my favourite Valentino collections since the master himself left, I wish she’d picked something else.

All that said, it is a beautiful gown.

NO, No, no, no. That make-up doesn’t work with that stunning Atelier Versace Spring 2009 gown, which is a shame, because Eva Herzigova looks amazing from the neck down.

Eva wears the same gown which Donatella Versace wore just 8 days ago, with Chopard chandelier gold earrings.

Despite loving this Festival, their are so many re-runs.

Rachida Brakni aka Mrs Cantona, arrived with her husband, Eric Cantona wearing a pale pink Sonia Rykiel Spring 2009 dress.

The floor-length halter dress, was adorned with feathers on the hem, and appears to be less transparent than it was on the runway.

I loved this dress on the runway, and I’m glad it translated well onto the red carpet. She looks magnificent.

Grace, beauty, class and elegance = Hilary Swank.

The rise and fall hems were prevalent in Christian Dior and Nina Ricci’s collections, and I go back and forth as to whether I like the style, but I can’t fault anything on Hilary.

The gunmetal grey is a great colour for her, the sweeping updo is so classic, the multi-colour pearl Chopard necklace is just enough jewelery, and her matching Swarovski clutch and Sergio Rossi sandals complete the look.

For me she’s breath-taking.

Model Doutzen Kroes gives us yet ANOTHER re-run.

She is wearing a full-skirted printed Azzedine Alaia grey dress, which Zoe Saldana wore to the London Star Trek premiere last month.

Her dress was paired with black Azzedine Alaia leather lace-up shoe-boots, but I don’t think this is a good look for Doutzen at all.
