The Queen of UK R&B always picks a right type of dress to suit her style.

She walked the red carpet wearing a Giles Spring 2009 charcoal grey dress, with a printed panel down the front.

The dress is very interesting as it has a pointy tipped bodice, like Dr Spock ears, and the back is totally different than the front, with 3 layers.

She completed her look with black booties and a box clutch. I am very surprised she did not wear her nameplate necklace.

I love the hair and the make-up. For once she outshone her co-star.

Vanessa Hudgens wore a black beaded Jenny Packham cocktail dress, with a black satin Mary Norton clutch.

She is not as colourful as Ashley, but she still look cute.

For once Joy Bryant is wearing make-up, and she is even more beautiful. Damn her.

The model/actress arrived wearing a printed multi-coloured Matthew Williamson Spring 2009 mini dress, which showed off her never ending legs.

Her stunning snakeskin and neon yellow heels are also from the Matthew Williamson Spring 2009 collection.

Brit singer Estelle flew the flag for the British high-street, by wearing a Marcus Lupfer for Topshop sweater. She wore her sweater with a nameplate necklace, skin-tight PVC pants, and cute two-tone shoes.

Rapper Eve wore a gold sequined Brian Reyes Fall 2008 tank under a black cropped blazer, with latex leggings and Christian Louboutin Trottinette ankle boots.

Model Chanel Iman arrived at this event wearing the same black fringed Christian Louboutin For Ever Tina Suede Platform Boots she wore to the Tyra Banks Show this week.

The runway star looked cute, as always, wearing a vintage black lace Givenchy mini dress with a Chanel tote.

Estelle always gets it right, and she is very much a fan of the eccentric, ‘not so well known designers’.

D Woods and Aubrey O’Day of Danity Kane, coordinate black and red in both their ensembles and D Woods’ hair.

We saw a lot of houndstooth checks in Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2008 and other collections, so we can expect to see a lot more of this print on the red carpet.
