The Glamour of Italian Fashion Exhibition Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick roundup of a few others who joined Naomi Campbell and Rita Ora on the red carpet for the preview of The Glamour of Italian Fashion exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum on Tuesday (April 1) in London, England.

Elizabeth Hurley: On a night celebrating Italian glamour, it could’ve gone two ways for Hurley: Versace or Cavalli. The British actress opted for the latter, selecting a black Cavalli halter gown which is lightly beaded and made sexy with a selection of cut-outs.

David Gandy: No prizes for guessing that the model was dressed in Dolce & Gabbana. His classic double-breasted suit is Dolce & Gabbana tailoring at its very best.

Erin O’Connor: Opting not to go the Italian designer route, the model looked divine dressing her baby bump with a Vivienne Westwood Gold Label Fall 2014 lavender draped dress. It’s so lovely to see her in a colour other than her favoured black. A pretty statement necklace, Smythson ‘Floating Envelope’ python box clutch, gold t-bar sandals and a gold cuff.

Erin O'Connor In Louis Vuitton - Elle Style Awards 2014

Since announcing her pregnancy at the InStyle Best of British pre-BAFTA party earlier in the month, it was great to see Erin O’Connor again and this time on the red carpet of the Elle Style Awards 2014 at London’s One Embankment this evening (February 18).

It was inevitable that Louis Vuitton’s hit Fall 2014 collection would make appearances during the awards season so I’m glad that we’ve been able to see such an iconic model as Erin wear one of the dresses.

While you may remember that Michelle Williams wore the runway version sans the shoulder detailing back in December, Erin sported a black and navy mid-length dress with bead embellished collar and tassel-detailed hems, looking the picture of elegance.

While the shoes aren’t my favourite, they do help add a 1920’s flapper-esque vibe to the outfit, and I absolutely adore the feather headband.

In summary, this is perfectly chic and understated.

InStyle Best Of British Talent Pre-BAFTA Party Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick roundup of the other celebs joining Mollie King, Natalie Dormer and Anna Friel on the red carpet at InStyle magazine’s ‘The Best of British Talent’ Pre-BAFTA party held at Dartmouth House on Tuesday (February 4) in London.

Delilah: The singer wore a sexy Dolce & Gabbana black lace bustier and pencil skirt with a black Alberta Ferretti Spring 2014 cropped jacket with colourful floral embroidery, adding a pop of colour via her aqua-blue platform heels, and completing the look with a Heidi-braided updo.

Erin O’Connor: The supermodel used the occasion to showcase her baby bump. At five months gone, the mother-to-be was glowing wearing a black crepe crystal encrusted gown from Jenny Packham’s Spring 2013 collection. An ivory Smythson Soho Diary Clutch completed her maternity look.

Lilah Parsons: The model wore a pretty Emilia Wickstead pale-pink embellished frock with an extended neckline styled with hot-red pumps.

The Face

I couldn’t be more excited that the UK version of The Face will air on September 30 on Living. Mostly because of Naomi Campbell, who is the only judge who also appears on the US version.

Naomi was joined at the screening of the show by fellow mentors Erin O’Connor and Caroline Winberg at the Royal Opera House in London yesterday evening.

Naomi Campbell: Like I said yesterday, if she’s not wearing Alaïa, she’s wearing McQueen. This time she went for the latter, donning an Alexander McQueen Resort 2014 embossed jacket and pencil skirt. While I’m not surprised by her choice of designer, I am surprised by two things: 1. that the look is not black; and 2. that she opted to style this chic look with those heinous black booties. What a letdown.

Erin O’Connor: The statuesque beauty looks great in just about anything, but as this is the fourth run out of this blue-striped Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2013 look I’m too fatigued by it to give it a second glance. Like Naomi, her footwear choice is a head scratcher.

Caroline Winberg: By default Caroline is the best of the bunch – I never thought I would say that about a Herve Leger frock: her flirty bandage dress with a scooped neckline and electric-blue hue styled with sexy sandals is much more appealing to the eye than her fellow supers.

Michael Kors Dinner 1

There were many more stars who joined Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for the Michael Kors dinner hosted by Vogue in London yesterday evening.

Samantha Barks: The British actress strikes a pose wearing a sexy black bodysuit with an open back with black leggings from Michael Kors’ Pre-Fall 2013 collection, which she accented with a black leather corset-like belt. The smouldering brunette beauty completed her look with a black ‘Gia’ clutch and ‘Barbara’ heels from the Fall 2013 collection.

Daisy Lowe: The beautiful British model channelled her inner screen siren, wearing a Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2013 black lace dress with a full skirt. It’s the styling which gives the look a classic retro feel.

Yasmin Le Bon: The supermodel was just one of the attendees wearing stripes from Michael Kors Spring 2013 collection. Her midnight-blue-and-green striped shell-and-sequin pleat skirt, which was styled with green strappy sandals, was recently worn by Hilary Rhoda at the New York dinner party.
