Emmy Rossum In Camilla and Marc - The Brian Bowen Smith WILDLIFE Show

Emmy Rossum attended the Brian Bowen Smith WILDLIFE show held at the De Re Gallery on Thursday (October 23) in West Hollywood, California.

The actress wore a black and white frock with an architectural asymmetrical hemline which edges up this otherwise streamlined Camilla and Marc Fall 2014 dress.

Kept classic with Jimmy Choo ‘Lottie’ sandals, the hero piece of this look is those stunning Jorge Adeler black tourmaline and diamond earrings.

Emmy Rossum In Versace – Elle’s 21st Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

Emmy Rossum In Versace - Elle’s 21st Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

Emmy Rossum attended Elle’s 21st annual Women in Hollywood celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel on Monday (October 20) in Beverly Hills, California.

You wanted Emmy to step things up, saying that she never takes a risk; well, last night she shelved the pretty dresses she usually opts for, instead donning a Versace Pre-Fall 2014 suit.

Featuring a blazer with silver medusa buttons, slim-fit trousers and a cut-out shirt with embellished collar tips, the look is as far away from safe as you can get, but did she pull it off?

I would say she did; I especially love the vampy makeup and black and gold studded toecap Christian Louboutin ‘Geo’ pumps.

While this is refreshing and I do love that she accepted your challenge and stepped out of her comfort zone, I do prefer my Emmy sunny-side up with a double helping of elegance and sophistication, plus a dash of girlish charm.

Emmy Rossum In Halston Heritage - Late Night with Seth Meyers

Emmy Rossum made a guest appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ to continue to promote her latest movie, ‘You’re Not You’.

The actress wore a body-hugging purple Halston Heritage Spring 2014 halter dress.

Some of you have commented that Emmy rarely takes a risk, but I love that she is serving up elegance with a dash of seduction on this occasion.

Working a lacquered and loose ‘do, the actress styled her look with pewter Louboutin pumps.

Get The Look: Emmy Rossum’s ‘Gala in the Garden’ Sleek Parisian Ponytail

Hammer Museum 12th Annual Gala In The Garden With Generous Support From Bottega Veneta

Celebrity hairstylist Cervando Maldonado worked with Emmy Rossum for the Hammer Museum’s ‘Gala in the Garden’ on Saturday.

Cervando shares his inspiration: “The inspiration for the look was a sleek Parisian ponytail.”

Here’s how to get the look.

He began by applying two pumps of Leonor Greyl Serum de Soie Sublimateur to slightly damp hair, distributing evenly throughout.

Next he blew the hair dry using a Harry Josh Blow Dryer and flat-ironed section by section, bottom to top with a Harry Josh Flat Iron. This left the hair shiny and very straight.

Then he sprayed Serge Normant Meta Sheer Dry Finishing Spray lightly throughout the hair to create extra shine and sleekness. After that he parted the hair in a deep side part and applied Osmo Clay Wax, running it through the hair. He then took a comb and combed through the hair, really making it hold together and stay close to the head. He pulled all the hair back to the nape, pinching it tight, and wrapped a bungee-cord hair tie around the hair very tightly, creating a low ponytail. Then he took a piece of the ponytail and wrapped it around the hair tie to cover and camouflage it.

Next he poured a nickel-sized amount of Shu Uemura Nourishing Protective Oil, rubbed it in his hands, then distributed it through the whole head from the top to the ponytail, which created major shine and a wet look. He finished off by spraying Frederic Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray for one last bit of hold and shine.

The Hammer Museum’s 12th Annual ‘Gala In The Garden’

The Hammer Museum's 12th Annual Gala In The Garden

The Hammer Museum’s 12th annual ‘Gala in the Garden’ was held on Saturday (October 11) in Westwood, California in association with Bottega Veneta, where the stars were draped in the Italian brand’s finest pieces.

Dianna Agron: The ‘Glee’ actress continued to showcase her sartorial style wearing a black and nude patterned dress from Bottega Veneta’s Resort 2015 collection. Oozing with elegance and femininity, she styled her dress with the brand’s signature woven clutch. I have found myself hypnotized by Dianna at the moment. Whoever is doing her makeup and making her glow so radiantly is doing a fine job.

January Jones: No surprises that January stood out; she’s never one to blend into the background. The ‘Mad Men’ actress wore an intentionally imperfect vibrant strapless Bottega Veneta patchwork Pre-Fall 2014 dress defined by a hot-pink jacquard, macramé lace, and a metallic coating. Like Dianna, she carried a woven clutch, with Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals providing the finishing touches. Needless to say, she was by far my favourite at this event.

Emmy Rossum: Also carrying a Bottega Veneta woven clutch, the ‘Shameless’ actress looked as lovely as ever wearing a Bottega Veneta Pre-Fall 2014 V-neck black and nude gown shimmering with metallic-gold panels. Like Dianna, she’s glowing.
