Naeem Khan Spring 2009 had an Asian inspired collection, with obi belts, and brightly coloured embroideries.

Khan presented asymmetrical dresses, bell-bottoms, and florals pieces that his faithful clientele will love.

Khan is one of my favorite designers, as he excels at creating the most luxurious red carpet gowns. I loved the silver/orange ombre strapless gown with the sequined bodice, and pink metallic number. With the Emmy’s coming up, hopefully we will see one of these dresses on the red carpet.

Sanaa Lathan surely stood out in the front row, wearing a lime green plunge neck dress.

Aubrey O’Day stood out for a different reason…looking ridiculous.

What are those black things on her legs? And why does she need to bring her pooch to Fashion Week? *eye-roll*

I am not a fan of gowns at Fashion Week, as I don’t think it is the right place to wear them, so I think Ashanti gets it so wrong here. But I do like the jeweled detailed dress itself.

Tommy Hilfiger’s Spring 2009 collection colour palette saw an explosion of citrus shades, including peach, lemon and tangerine. For once the collection was not heavily dominated by his signature red/white/blue.

Diane Kruger wowed in a Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2008 ensemble of a plaid pussy-bow blouse, navy and red spotted skirt, and a deliciously sexy pair of over-the-knee-boots.

Hilary Swank wore a navy belted shirt/dress, as she posed with a very dapper John Legend.

Carmen Marc Valvo’s Spring 2009 collection was full of signature ladylike cocktail dresses and red carpet gowns.

The colour palette mostly consisted of black, white, silver and gold in mostly metallics.

Emmy Rossum is a Carmen Marc Valvo faithful She has worn his dresses to many events such as the PiNKiTUDE event and the Sex And The City Premiere, so it is no wonder she was here to pick out her next red carpet dress.

Marchesa’s Spring 2009 collection, was typically filled with red carpet ready cocktail dresses and gowns, with Asian influences.

The colour palette was mostly white, black and gold with the odd pink dress here and there.

As usual the detailing on the dresses are exquisite, especially the strapless cocktail dress with teal embroidery and folds above, which I have mentally reserved for Cameron Diaz or Kate Mara.

Another dress that stood out, was the black dress with layers of tulle and lace, although the reason it stood out, is because it reminded me of the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2008 hand-painted ballgowns.

With the Emmy’s in 10 days time, I guess at least two pieces from this collection, will make it onto the red carpet.

Georgina Chapman was stunning beautiful, as always, wearing a black and dark pink strapless embroidered self designed dress, whilst business partner Keren Craig opted for an elegant ivory and black suit, with Louboutin heels.

Zoe Saldana also wore a strapless Notte by Marchesa cocktail dress, but hers was in baby pink, with a contrast black bow at the waist. She completed her look with black peep-toe booties.

Amanda Bynes last wore a Marchesa dress to the SAG Awards, so it is no wonder the young actress wanted to check out their new designs.

I am still praying for the day when Amanda discovers a new hair stylist.

3.1 Philip Lim’s Spring 2009 collection was full of chic ruffle jackets, slouchy pocketed pants, sweatshirt fabric minis dresses and woven-bodice crepe dresses.

There were a lot of great accessories presented like over-sized belts tied as a bow ♥, polka dot satchels and leather “flower petal” Louboutin’s that I am dying to own.

The colour palette was very neutral with dove greys, creams, taupe and blush pinks.

All in all this collection had simple wearable clothes, with added touches of fantasy.

Leighton Meester wore a pocketed Philip Lim shift dress with silver sandals as he arrived for the show.

This dress with a hint of 50s glamour, looks stunning on Emmy. Her hair was beautiful styled to match the feel of the dress.

Va va voom, Emmy Rossum really ups the ante in this very sexy black leather Paige Black Label dress with cut out detail.

I totally love it, as it goes against every cute little prom dress she was wearing this time last year.

My heart is melting at Sarah Chalke in this silk chocolate poppy print floral Marc Jacobs dress.

I love the vibrant colours of the poppies.

Rashida Jones is wearing a Topshop paintbrush tulip silk skirt, with a simple black top, blazer and strappy sandals.

This is a cute look and the skirt helps break up all that black. I have the same skirt, and I usually wear mine skirt with a purple top.

Rebecca Gayheart wears a grey v-neck bubble hem Helmet Lang dress, that looks like an oversized t-shirt, but I do love how her pink pointy pumps compliment the pink carpet.

We don’t often see the beautiful Sanaa Lathan on the red carpet. She stepped out wearing a stunning black strapless Michael Kors Fall 2007 jumpsuit, with no accessory’s but her large gold earrings.

I am a little over the ‘boots over jeans’ look, but Lake Bell is still smokin’ hot.

Marcia Cross takes a rare night to be the golden girl on the red carpet, with her gold strappy sandals, and the gold print on her kimono sleeved top, which she wears with jeans.

Emmy Rossum was definitely the bell of her ball wearing a one-shouldered shimmering tiered Carmen Marc Valvo Spring 2008 dress.

I love the flutter sleeve detail, which gives her dress another dimension.

The fresh-faced beauty accessorized with gold peep-toe shoes and a stunning embellished Mary Norton clutch.

Dancer Karina Smirnoff wore a exquisite teal green satin sheath belted dress.

Her red clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti heels really pop against the green, but I what I really love are her long gold earrings.

Actress Tamera Mowry wore a sexy olive green plunging neckline Black Halo silk dress with delicately draped golden chains.

I love how her eye make-up compliments her dress.

I am loving the close up, the wide shot? Not so much.

Lindsay Lohan’s hair is moving away from that very brassy blonde she has been sporting all summer, and closer to her natural hair colour, which I think suits her best.

I like her 3.1 Phillip Lim tiered ribbon shell crop top, but I am not at all crazy about her pairing this top with those shorts and the YSL tribute pumps. What a strange way to complete an outfit.

No matter what Paris Hilton is doing, or wearing, it is ALL about Paris Hilton, which is evident here as she is showing off a bag from her collection, which is inscribed with her name all over it.

Exactly what you would expect from the one woman self-promotion machine.

Nicky Hilton loves to show off her legs, and does so wearing this strapless striped Herve Leger dress.

It is not often we see Nicky in such a dress, but she wears it well.

Dear oh dear, where do I start with this holy hot mess that is Mischa Barton’s ensemble?

I was just coming around to appreciating Mischa’s unique style, then she walks the red carpet in this dress.

I believe Mischa is wearing a black top under a strapless red printed dress, but this could also be a two-in-one dress.

I hate the tights with this dress, and really believe this look would have worked better without them and the top underneath.

Sky+ HD Designer Box Collection Launch Event, London

Kelly Rowland is wearing one of the trends of Fall 2008 – plaid.

I love her Dolce & Gabbana plaid shirt, as it is ultra feminine with a large neck tie bow.

The singer completes her look with Dolce & Gabbana jeans, booties and a tan buckle belt.

UK TV presenter Jenni Falconer is usually a high-street girl, but glams up on this occasion by wearing this printed Grecian Alberta Ferretti Spring 2008 dress, with an elasticated waist and batwing sleeves.

She completes her look with nude pointy sandals.

Whilst Kelly and Jenni wore designer, former Atomic Kitten singer Liz McClarnon, opted for the high-street with this strapless two tone Zara jumpsuit.

She does not do the jumpsuit much justice, as she has not adjusted the top half very well. I also believe that the jumpsuit is too long for her.

Leighton Meester arrived at this event looking flawless, and incredibly elegant wearing a metallic sweetheart necklined Nina Ricci Resort 2009 mini dress. I love that she kept her neck bare and pulled her hair back, as she help elongate her neck.

She is glowing here, and this is down to her sun-kissed skin, and her nude make-up.

The actress completes her look with a Christian Louboutin Minilou clutch and Louboutin black pumps.

Liv Tyler opted for a very colourful cheongsam-inspired Oscar de la Renta Fall 2008 sheath dress.

The chocolate and fuchsia floral dress has a cherry blossom print, with sprinklings of sequins and paillettes for a glamorous finish.

Maggie Gyllenhaal kept it simple and chic, in a black pleated slash neck belted Lanvin dress.

She wore her blouse with dark wash jeans and peep-toes.

Lauren Conrad Fall 2008 Collection Presentation at Bloomingdale’s, LA

Lauren Conrad presented her Fall 2008 collection at Bloomingdale’s wearing, of course, her own collection.

With a pair of latex leggings and tan peep-toes, the reality TV star wore a black multi-tiered strapless top from her Fall collection.

Lauren appears to be amping up the promotion of her collection, since it was dropped by Kitson last month. I guess she has realized that promotion is the key to selling her ridiculously over-priced collection.

Not content with being just the arm candy to Matthew McConaughey, Camila Alves has designed her own handbag collection, which she launched yesterday.

The model/designer arrived with her baby’s daddy wearing a cream woolen mini dress, which was gathered on the skirt. She completed her look with a pair of gold strappy sandals.

She looks amazing for a mother of a one month old.

After wearing Chanel to the premiere Keira Knightley opted for a British designer for The Edge of Love private party.

The statuesque actress wore a strapless purple pleated Erdem Fall 2008 dress which has a beautiful rosette detail on the bust and a layered skirt.

Sienna Miller first wore a strapless red vintage Dior dress, the actress then changed into a cream Jasmine Di Milo dress, with an asymmetric ruffle detail for her appearance on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.

Two great looks, but I am loving the Dior dress.

As I have said recently I am loving this edgier direction, which is such a contrast to her classic beauty.

Trendsetter Camilla Belle never lets me down. Here the actress opted for the best dress from the recent 3.1 Philip Lim Resort 2009 collection.

The beautiful sleeveless dress has multi-coloured sequins adorning the dress, which she wears with a brown leather belt and black 3.1 Philip Lim Fall 2008 pumps.

Emmy Rossum stands out the most in this mango 3.1 Phillip Lim Siamese Fish dress which she wears with a black leather belt and black peep-toes.

Jennifer Morrison is very chic wearing pearls with her navy structured dress. I love the tiered ruffles on the skirt.

Kate Walsh embodied the spirit of summer in this floaty chiffon print dress.

Anne Hathaway is having a great week. If it weren’t for Charlize Theron’s red carpet masterclass, Anne would have been a contender for Best Dressed Of The Week.

For this event she wore a navy Jasmine Di Milo Fall 2008 dress, with structured shoulders which had an overlapping skirt. To complete the look she wore snake-skin Brian Atwood pumps.

I would have liked to have seen Anne wear a belt with this dress, as it appeared on the runway.

I much prefer her hair sleek like this.

Rihanna is dripping in a Cartier jewels, from her encrusted tiara, two Lotus rings, diamond stud earrings, a diamond dome ring, and a silk bracelet.

I am so jealous if she gets to keep it all.

The singer wore a strapless bubble hemmed mini PPQ Spring 2008 dress, and a pair of the new Christian Louboutin Trottinette ankle boots.

Anne Hathaway this time goes very casual to TRL.

The actress opts for a blazer with leather trousers and a simple white tee.

This is my least favourite of her looks on this post.

I love Brittany Snow’s skirt, and wish she had worn something different on top, although the navy boyfriend sweater does work.

I like to give credit were credit is due, and Agyness Deyn definitely deserves it here.

The model has cleaned up for this event, which she arrived to with curly haired Musician Albert Hammond Jr.

Gone is the wild spiky unruly hair, and instead we have a sleek golden crop and a flawless complexion.

Agyness has a great body ,and she shows it off here in a black figure-hugging sophisticated, floor-length gown with a pair of sparkling Christian Louboutin Alta Perla Strass slingbacks.

I am torn.

I love the colour of Sharon Stone’s dress and her hairstyle, but I dislike the bodice of this dress as it looks very restricting.
