Celebrities Love Stuart Weitzman 'Nudist' Sandals

Not nearly a day goes by that we don’t see Stuart Weitzman’s ‘Nudist’ sandals taking a stand on the red carpet.

The soles of many a starlet have been strapped into the sleek, sophisticated footwear that exudes a quiet sizzle and evokes a modern minimalist edge.

Barely there, as their name might imply, the 4.5-inch ankle-strap heels come in a range of shades—from subtle black to spotted leopard—making them a versatile pair for nearly any ensemble, from street-chic floral frocks to luncheon garb and soiree-ready gowns.

The leg-lengthening sandals (especially those of the nude colour-way) are an outfit’s best companion, perfectly complementing without outshining the main sartorial attraction.

Some of the biggest fans include Diane Kruger and Emmy Rossum, but stars from Kiernan Shipka to Ashley Madekwe, America Ferrera, Blake Lively, January Jones and Naomie Harris have been spotted in these Stuarts.

Emmy Rossum In Lanvin - American Ballet Theatre 2014 Opening Night Spring Gala

Emmy Rossum attended the American Ballet Theatre 2014 Opening Night Spring Gala held at The Metropolitan Opera House on Monday (May 12) in New York City.

Opting for sleek-meets-sexy appeal with a simple design and thigh-high slit, this Lanvin floor-length green gown is seductively flirty as she turns around to reveal the open back.

To ensure this body-hugging column silhouette resulted in a traffic-stopping entrance at the evening gala, she styled the look with a purposely messy braided ‘do, diamond-and-emerald Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and a purple clutch.

This look sees Emmy at her breathtaking best.

Zoe Saldana & Emmy Rossum In Max Mara - Whitney Art Party

Celebrities attended the Whitney Art Party sponsored by Max Mara held at Highline Stages on Thursday (May 8) in New York City.

Zoe Saldana: The ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ actress wore a Max Mara rich-red strapless dress with a fold-detailed bodice and pleated skirt. This frock, which brims with genteel elegance, was styled with simple black Oscar Tiye pumps.

Emmy Rossum: Working a smoky eye and tousled tresses, the ‘Shameless’ actress wore a Max Mara sleek black jumpsuit with Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and a grey clutch. I love the sequined asymmetrical panels at the waist which ensure that this piece captures your attention.

Emmy Rossum In Carolina Herrera - 2014 Met Gala

Emmy Rossum took to the red carpet of the 2014 Met Gala with a grand flourish, as she posed at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 5).

Donning a sculptural, strapless Carolina Herrera yellow ball gown, exploding in a colourful, nearly clashing floral print, she put her own stamp on the ‘Charles James: Beyond Fashion’ theme.

Lavish statement Van Cleef & Arpels jewels included a diamond flower ring whilst her complementary rose-tinged earrings matched her matte crimson lip and red manicure, tying the florid look together.

Vintage-inspired, her twisted, slicked-back ’do was also an homage to Mr. James.

Bold and beautiful… after all, the Met Ball is not a time for shrinking violets.

Emmy Rossum In Elie Saab - 25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards

Emmy Rossum attended the 25th annual GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday (May 3) in New York City.

Like Naomi Watts, the ‘Shameless’ actress opted for pink, wearing an Elie Saab Spring 2014 raspberry lace embellished frock.

This signature look by the Lebanese designer was styled with accessories from the same collection including a floral print clutch and raspberry coloured open-toe heels.

As we all know, Emmy can do no wrong, and this flirty confection is a perfect testament to that fact.

Everything works in perfect harmony, including the green-and-raspberry stone earrings and that raspberry pout, topped off with a sweeping updo.

The Foundation for Living Beauty 3rd Annual Fashion Fundraiser Presneted by Lanvin

The Foundation for Living Beauty hosted their 3rd annual fashion fundraiser on Saturday (April 26) to raise awareness for the Los Angeles-based non-profit organization, founded by Amie Satchu. The celebration was presented by Lanvin, so of course the guests were all decked out in pieces from the French brand.

Ashley Madekwe: The actress looked stunning wearing a Lanvin green strapless top with the brand’s distinctive structural skirt in navy. Her styling was perfection too, consisting of gold sandals and a green python clutch. Highlighting her eyes with dark-blue eye shadow, Ashley completed her look with nude lips and wavy side-swept tresses. The best of the bunch for me.

Emma Roberts: Opting for a green Lanvin techno jersey dress from the Spring 2014 collection, the frock, which features a T-shaped back and cutaway sides, was accessorized with a champagne-coloured Lanvin ‘Tejus’ clutch and black Rupert Sanderson ‘Elba’ pumps.

Rashida Jones: Opting for shimmering bronze metallics, the actress wore a Lanvin Spring 2014 ‘Dream’ statement tee with loose-fit trousers. Toning down the shine somewhat, she added a black Lanvin cropped shawl-collar-lapel blazer. Would you’ve preferred this look without the blazer?
