Best Dressed Of The Week – Emmy Rossum In Monique Lhuillier

For me, Emmy Rossum didn’t have much competition this week and judging by your votes you agreed.

The ‘Shameless’ actress looked breath-taking wearing a hot pink Monique Lhuillier Resort 2013 dress for her ‘Project Runway’ taping in New York City.

The dress, her styling, her attitude; it all works without a single flaw.

I loved this look so much it on my BDOTY contender board.

Beauty Trend Spotting: Emmy Rossum’s Grey Nails

We’ve seen the natural and blue nail trends; well, Emmy Rossum is looking to start her own trend.

The actress who loves pretty frocks has been rocking grey nail polish for her last few red-carpet appearances instead of going with a traditional pink or red.

Her choice of steel-grey polish is edgy, modern and fashion-forward. It’s almost like she’s trying to hint that she has a darker side.

Trying funky colours on your toes is a great way to debut daring hues. To get Emmy’s look, try these shades:

Essie – ‘Chinchilly’ – Granite Grey

Nars ‘Stormy Bird’ – Shark Grey

Emmy Rossum In Monique Lhuillier – ‘Project Runway’ Taping

Emmy Rossum looked sensational when she was spotted out in New York City en route to film her guest spot on ‘Project Runway’ on Sunday.

The actress stuns wearing a Monique Lhuillier Resort 2013 dress.

I’m almost at a loss for words at how gorgeous this fuchsia tulle cocktail dress is. When it comes to giving us ultra-feminine glam, no one does it better than Emmy.

I love the frosty pink glossy lip colour which perfectly complements her dress and the sultry tumbling side-swept waves.

She completes the look with leg-lengthening nude pumps, grey nail polish and a stunning pair of Chopard white diamond hoop earrings.

An easy BDOTW contender.

Who Wore Kate Spade New York Better? Zendaya or Emmy Rossum?

This gorgeous Kate Spade New York dress is perfect for summer, so it’s not surprising that two fresh young Hollywood faces were recently spotted rocking the look.

Disney actress Zendaya was the first of two to be seen wearing the flowery frock at The Grove in LA for a guest appearance on ‘Extra’ with co-star Bella Thorne back in early July.

The adorable young star looked so cute sporting this prim fit-and-flare number. She paired the fun look with eye-popping Nina ‘Electra’ sandals in apple green, which were a lovely choice for this chic, summery look.

She completed her ensemble with loose waves and a gold timepiece watch.

While Zendaya spiced up this summery frock, actress Emmy Rossum seemed to take a much more laidback approach with the sleeveless dress, strolling outside the Trump hotel near Soho, New York, last week.

Emmy chose to leave the floral-print dress un-zippered at the top for a more carefree approach while stepping out for some Starbucks. She finished off the look with some standard black flats.

She too leaves her luscious locks down and untamed.

Although both young faces look great in this multi-coloured Kate Spade dress, I’m going to have to side with Zendaya hands down on this one.

She goes for a much more prim and proper look with the floral-print frock and I love her apple-green shoe choice.

Emmy Rossum In Zuhair Murad – CW, CBS And Showtime 2012 Summer TCA Party

Emmy Rossum posed on the red carpet of the CW, CBS and Showtime 2012 Summer TCA party in Beverly Hills yesterday.

The star donned Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 black and white lace cocktail dress that flattered her figure and fit flawlessly.

I love that the dress accents the waist and is finished with another peek of white lace at the bottom.

Emmy finished her look with a pair of Christian Louboutin ‘Claudia’ sandals. I think the ankle strap adds a bit of fun to an ensemble that could otherwise feel a little severe.

Side-swept waves and a red lip finished things off with a nostalgic feel that was not unwelcome given the classic cut of the dress.

Do you like Emmy’s lace-dominated look?
