The Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2010 collection was a lot softer in comparison to his Fall 2009 urban warrior collection.

We saw optical prints, sleeveless tops, tulip shaped coats and cocktail dresses.

Many of the pieces had rounded hems which was an interesting twist. There was subtle layering and sleek silhouettes.

The colour palette consisted of mostly neutrals or black, with purple and silver included also.

My favourite pieces were the finale gowns which were very simple.

The tank-style gowns had a shorter hemline in front and a flowing back. When it caught the wind of the runway the dress billowed and moved so graciously.

Jessica Alba was the last celebrities to arrive at her seat and the photographers went wild.

How celebrities cope with those flash bulbs is beyond me.

She wore a bubble hemmed mini dress, with a black sequined top and a starry midnight sky skirt.

I’m not sure if they were expecting her to do something crazy but Courtney Love got the most flashbulbs.

Maybe the photographers just wanted to get a close up of the satin details on her Narciso Rodriguez black viscose dress.

Emmy Rossum looked really cute in her Fall 2009 halter dress, with an edgy army fatigue print on the bodice.

She was in the front row with her stylist and right in my eye line, so every now and then I would see her saying to her stylist “That’s cute”.

So we should expect to see Emmy wearing Narciso Rodriguez pieces in the future on the red carpet.

Emmy Rossum goes from sex kitten at the 2009 Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Annual Installation Luncheon, to chic and ladylike at this event.

The actress wore an ivory Temperley London Resort 2009 dress with a high embellished collar.

The belt perfectly complements the embellished neckline, along with her other gold accessories.

I’m loving the variety of looks Emmy is giving us lately.

Olivia Palermo floor-length Diane von Furstenberg Spring 2009 floaty dress only reached the knee of the model.

The pint-size New Yorker’s dress had an additional lining from the runway version, which she paired with a gold cuff.

I love the dress, but I’m not crazy about the tan strappy heels.

I would have paired this dress with silver strappy heels.

Venus Williams is usually the best dressed woman on the court with her Eleven by Venus Williams sportswear, but off court her looks used to be questionable until she started to step things up a notch.

This goes in the questionable section. I like the simplicity of the black jumpsuit and the ruffled bib, but the length of the pants bother me.

The “Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Annual Installation Luncheon” is the event so show-off a cute cocktail dress.

This is not the right occasion for a full-length gown, which is why Emmy Rossum wore a stunning mini white version of the silvery Carolina Herrera Resort 2010 gown presented on the runway.

Talk about a knock-out. Emmy just gets better and better for me. I barely remember the girl that used to dress like she was going to the prom for every event.

She looks sexy, confident and for some reason taller. But I just guess that because she’s showing off her toned legs and wearing nude Jimmy Choo ‘Seattle’ platforms.

Evan Rachel Wood posed on the red carpet wearing a red, black and white dot printed halter dress, with a black belt to give it some shape.

The star wore the same Jimmy Choo ‘Gesture’ platforms as Britney Spears at the Teen Choice Awards, whilst carrying a black clutch.

Her flame red hair was swept back into a classic updo.

Rose McGowan opted for a white jersey cap sleeve Balenciaga Resort 2009 dress.

The fitted dress is printed with rows of tiny black dots, and is gathered on the hip and bodice giving Rose’s curves even more definition.

She paired her dress with a dazzling embellished clutch and tan pumps.

Jordana Brewster goes back to her cute ways after a sexier look at the Teen Choice Awards.

The actress who wears her hair in a ponytail 90% of the time she steps on the red carpet, wore a Naeem Khan Resort 2009 ensemble consisting of a navy cashmere scoop neck tank with jeweled edging around the neckline, paired with a navy bell-shaped paillette embroidered skirt with a black satin waistband.

Black accessories complete the look.

Carla Gugino wore a satin black jersey wrap Reem Acra dress with a jeweled detail on the hip.

We recently saw Katherine Heigl wear the electric blue runway version on Letterman.

Sergio Rossi T-bar sandals and a black clutch complete the look.

Kerry Washington never lets me down on the red carpet.

I adore her in this girlie pink Camilla & Marc halter dress, which she teams matching box clutch and Miu Miu snakeskin pumps.

Make-up, hair, everything is flawless.  *sighs*

Eva Longoria also wore Reem Acra. Her black dress was covered with rosette details embroidered onto the bodice.

It’s a nice dress, but I would have loved to see her wear something more colourful.

Trib Two’s are standard.

I know Victoria Beckham did walk any red carpets this week so she shouldn’t have been included in this poll, but I also knew a lot of you loved her Loewe look and would’ve wanted to vote for her. Which you did as she won this weeks readers poll.

I wasn’t particularly in love with any of the looks this week and was tempted to vote for VB myself, but I picked Emmy Rossum’s wearing Phi.

Emmy’s look was sexy, daring, edgy and it proved that she’s over her prom-queen phase.

Many of you wanted to vote for Sienna Miller’s Loewe look which wasn’t included. If you would like me to add a look to the weekly poll, please let me know in the comments before I post the poll.

Let’s hope we have a better week next week.

Vera Farmiga, who is the lead actress in this movie, looked stunning wearing a Versace Spring 2009 white silk one-shoulder gown with a heart shaped and zipper detailing on the bodice.

The gown was paired with nude leather zipper sandals, a metallic gold paillette clutch and Versace Fine jewelry.

Her hair was elegant styled into a chic updo and I would say the look was head-to-toe perfect, but the heart detail on her dress looks a bit crushed, but it’s always difficult to achieve runway perfection.

I’m not sure who’s idea it was to sex up little Miss Rossum, but I like it.

Earlier this week we saw Emmy Rossum wearing a black structured Ungaro dress, and for this premiere we get more of the same.  An edgy urban look via this Phi Fall 2009 high-neck dress with a paisley print and exposed zipper.

It kinda has a biker feel to it don’t you think?

I’m glad she opted out of the long leather gloves, the tights, and the belt, but I would have loved her to have worn her hair in a slick back tight pony.

Here is a first red carpet look of Ciara’s new shorter do.

Personally I don’t like it. Mostly because it feels like a quick reaction to Rihanna’s recent crop.

The singer wore black leather skinny pants with a gold sequined Gryphon racer back tank top.

I’m not quite sure what’s going on here, but I know it don’t like it.

Kim Kardashian opted for a strange Proenza Schouler T-shirt bustier dress which looks like she has a black tee shirt under a white strapless dress.

The dress is paired with a YSL cage belt and YSL trib two heels, but even they can’t save this look.

Kim’s make-up is usually flawless, but on this occasion I can’t say I love it.

At the 2009 Outfest Closing Night Gala Premiere of “Dare” held in Hollywood last night, Emmy Rossum wore a black Emanuel Ungaro Fall 2009 mini dress as she walked the red carpet.

The first thing I said to myself was, “Why didn’t she wear the colourfully one?”

The multi-coloured version is sooo much more interesting, so even though Emmy looks amazing as the structured dress gives her a sexy silhouette, I would’ve been more wowed with the other dress.

The actress wore her hair back with minimal flawless make-up.

She paired her look with black strappy heels and a black clutch to complete this all black look.
