Giambattista Valli Fall 2014 Couture Front Row

Giambattista Valli Fall 2014 Couture Front Row

Giambattista Valli presented his Fall 2014 Couture show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday evening (July 7).

Sarah Close: The designer invited YouTube singing sensation Sarah Close to his show after falling for her charms: both beauty and talent. The lucky girl wore a Giambattista Valli Fall 2013 Couture white frock rendered with a blue embroidered bodice and a printed flared skirt. It’s a fairytale dress, perfect for the circumstances and the occasion, which she styled with white satin sandals.

Emma Watson: To close what was a busy day for the British actress, Emma kept it simple in black for this occasion. Wearing a drape-front black Grace blouse and J brand jeans, she styled the look with black pumps and a black bag, with only a touch of magenta to the lip providing a pop of colour. I would’ve died to have seen her wearing one of the dainty dresses from any of the GBV collections, but this is a chic showing nonetheless.

Dior Private Dinner Party

Dior Private Dinner Party

Following Dior’s presentation of their Fall 2014 Haute Couture collection, the FROWers attended a private party to celebrate the occasion in Paris, France.

Jennifer Lawrence: Still sporting the unfavourable makeup from earlier in the day, the actress opted for a super-short Dior bouclé dress enriched with metallic embroidery. Silver Dior pumps, a black clutch and a gold cuff amped up her look.

Marion Cotillard: The French actress let her raspberry mini Dior bag be the focus, selecting a grey and black Dior dress with a black overcoat protecting her from the rain. Only the bag and shoes pique my interest.

Emma Watson: Once again she steals the show, looking uber chic wearing a navy-blue Dior top with a floral-printed skirt from the Resort 2015 collection. A Dior clutch and navy suede Dior pumps accessorized her look, along with gold earrings and a bold red lip.

Christian Dior Fall 2014 Couture Front Row

Christian Dior Falll 2014 Couture Front Row

Christian Dior presented their Fall 2014 Haute Couture collection this afternoon (July 7) in Paris, France with a host of familiar faces in the front row.

Charlize Theron: The brand’s golden girl shimmered in the front row wearing a metallic-gold short-sleeved mini dress which showcased those gorgeous gams, which were elongated further with nude pumps. Yellow-gold Anita Ko diamond earring completed her look. Glamour in its simplest form.

Marion Cotillard: Of all the Dior ambassadors, the French actress has perhaps worn the brand most consistently. While not every look has been a hit, she is always a delight to watch. On this occasion she wore a Resort 2014 black top with a fold-over detail and printed silk-scarf panel paired with a high-waisted skirt. The styling was kept simple with Dior pumps and a Miss Dior bag, as was the hair and makeup. Anyone else think this look was crying out for a pair of red pumps?

Jennifer Lawrence: Despite going into her second term as a Dior ambassador, she is still the new kid on the block. Like Marion, Jennifer’s selections for Dior haven’t always been so well received, but on this occasion she proves herself a worthy ambassador, wearing a Resort 2014 ‘Noeud Dior’ printed silk-scarf top paired with a white suede high-waisted skirt. J’adore the two-tone black and white accessories, which included pumps with both ankle and asymmetrical straps, a patent-leather clutch, and Dior tribal earrings. We whine about Jennifer often looking too old in her Dior looks, but I’m sure you will agree this look doesn’t age her at all. This is one of my favourite JLaw/Dior looks (although not a fan of the makeup). And thank God her hairstylist realized they were working with a 20-something star and not Hillary Clinton.

Emma Watson In Ralph Lauren – The Royal Marsden Dinner

Emma Watson In Ralph Lauren - The Royal Marsden Dinner

Emma Watson also was in the mix, alongside Zhang Ziyi and Margot Robbie, at the Duke of Cambridge’s Royal Marsden dinner held on Tuesday (May 13) at Windsor Castle in England.

Following suit, she likewise kept the grey theme alive in her Ralph Lauren Fall 2014 ensemble, consisting of a beautifully draped skirt and a structured white button-down shirt.

The juxtaposition of the tailored top with the elegant fluidity of the skirt couldn’t have been more chic, especially when styled with a thin white belt, metallic box Roger Vivier Maxi Boite de Nuit clutch and that dramatic oxblood lip.

This ensemble was a classically effortless interpretation of the runway styling. Do you agree?

Repossi ear cuff, Ana Khour necklace and Monica Vinader ring also accessorized her look.

Which Was Your Favourite Emma Watson ‘Noah’ Promo Tour Look?

Which Was Your Favourite Emma Watson 'Noah' Promo Tour Look

The ‘Noah’ promo tour started for Emma Watson in Berlin, where she wore a sensual Wes Gordon halter gown with a bold red lip and partless hairdo.

Moving on to Madrid, she gave us a different, and very much unexpected, look donning a J. Mendel two-piece trouser look, which had an edge and plenty of sex appeal despite the modest plunging neckline.

In LA she had a trio of looks, starting with Stella McCartney, Peter Pilotto and Osman before heading to New York where she worked the menswear trend to a tee wearing a classic Saint Laurent suit.

There were mixed reviews about her Oscar de la Renta gown in New York – I’m not expecting this to do too well in this poll; however, she quickly redeemed herself with a breathtaking Ralph Lauren Collection white gown at the London premiere, which was her last stop on this tour.

It was a hard choice, but the J. Mendel is still my favourite, followed by the Ralph Lauren.

Emma Watson In Narciso Rodriguez - 'Boulevard' Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Emma Watson attended the premiere of ‘Boulevard’ during the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival held at BMCC Tribeca PAC on Sunday (April 20) in New York City.

The British actress, who blew us away during the ‘Noah’ promo tour, wore a Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2014 pretty pink look consisting of a sleeveless top emphasised by an asymmetrical wrap-effect construction paired with a pink cloqué jacquard skirt with an asymmetrical overlay panel which lends a modern edge to this softer look, as does the gold cuff which accessorized the look.

Soft makeup, unteased tresses and a simple pair of nude Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals provided the finishing touches.

Pretty in pink or too muted?
