Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ LA Premiere

Emma Stone was back on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ on Saturday (September 16) in Westwood, California.

We’ve seen Emma go from slinky in Tom Ford to this contemporary number from Louis Vuitton’s Resort 2018 collection.

I’m not sure this will go down well with the majority, but I think this combo manages to deliver sophisticated, polished vibes, as the dress shirt manages to temper the flamboyant mood of the shimmery blazer.

Did Emma ace this look for you, or did she serve up a double fault?

Emma Stone In Valentino Couture – ‘Mother!’ New York Premiere

Emma Stone joined Jennifer Lawrence for the New York premiere of ‘Mother!’ on Wednesday (September 13).

Going for pared-back Parisian elegance, the actress wore a black Valentino Fall 2017 Couture gown which possesses an inherently sultry feel thanks to the sheerness.

The hair is still killing me, but I much prefer the overall look over her Toronto outing.

Thoughts?

Emma Stone In Tom Ford & Brock Collection – ‘Battle of the Sexes’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere & After-Party

Following the HFPA & InStyle TIFF Party I was excited to Emma Stone’s second look for the ‘Battle of the Sexes’ Toronto Film Festival premiere on Sunday (September 10).

Sadly, I was left a little deflated.

I do love the impeccable cut and modern detailing on her Tom Ford dress, but that is about it.

If I’m honest, I think I blonde hair is throwing me off.

At first I thought the dress was washing her out until I saw better pictures, then I wanted to blame the makeup, but the warm amber tones complement the gold accents, so the only thing left is the hair.

Classic white Tom Ford pumps and a Tom Ford gold screw clutch completed her look.

HFPA & InStyle TIFF Party Roundup

More femmes flaunted their style at the HFPA & InStyle TIFF Party on Saturday (September 9), joining Emma Roberts, Greta Gerwig and Jess Weixler.

Jessica Chastain: The actress took a flirty turn in an Elie Saab Resort 2018 embroidered in swirls of colour; a cleavage-forward look that proved that sexy and sweet can go hand in hand.

Margot Robbie: I loved the retro-mod, rock-star-chic vibe of this Saint Laurent Fall 2017 mini that brought maximum impact via the signature bold shoulder and crystal embellishment to an otherwise minimal LBD.

Dianna Agron: Despite the deep plunge, there was a quietly sophisticated allure that permeated this Schiaparelli gown that featured an ever-so-faintly transparent skirt. This is the kind of sheer I can fully get on board with.

45th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to Diane Keaton

The American Film Institute’s 45th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to Diane Keaton took place on Thursday (June 8). Various stars (including Rachel McAdams) took to the red carpet in Hollywood, California to celebrate the veteran actress.

Emma Stone: The ‘La La Land’ actress kept us guessing with this quirky dress from Loewe’s Fall 2017 collction. Whilst my head tells me that colour-blocking, check print, and polka dots do not belong in one look, my heart is won over. The placement of the colours works particularly well, with the check print cinching in Emma’s waist. I love the pleated skirt and Stella Luna ‘Carioca’ sandal combo too. The red-brown colour palette ties everything together into one cohesive look.

Reese Witherspoon: The exaggerated cuffs and collar on this Miu Miu dress bring some definition to what is otherwise quite an ordinary design. Reese keeps it fun and flirty with the length of this dress and her relaxed hairstyle. Overall the look is classic and chic. Irene Neuwirth jewels completed her look.

Diane Keaton: Honouree and woman of the hour, Diane Keaton, made sure all eyes were on her with a bizarre ensemble. A wide-brimmed dark hat and oversized dress coat combo dominated this look. A chunky buckled belt seemed to struggle to contain the swathes of fabric whilst Doc Marten style boots further confused the look. But hey, it was her night, and she owned her eclectic style. Top marks for originality?

Audi Polo Challenge

The Audi Polo Challenge was on Sunday (May 7) in Ascot, United Kingdom, with a few stars in attendance to watch the sporting match.

Emma Stone: The actress got into the spirit of the day with the relaxed silhouette of a Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2017 printed ruffle blouse and skirt along with a contrasting plaid jacket, which she styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals.

Ella Eyre: With a completely different fashion outlook, Ella took a more outspoken, graphic approach in a boldly hued Minnan Hui abstract-printed dress paired with corresponding metallic Jimmy Choo heels and clutch along with Monica Vinader jewels. I’m not sure the look said polo to me, but it did pack a punch.

Gemma Arterton: The tailored seaming of the Victoria, Victoria Beckham top and the racing stripes down the pants emphasized a feminine yet sporty silhouette. A glossy clutch, Jimmy Choo heels and head scarf polished off the look in effortlessly chic form.
