Build Series Presents: ‘The Blackcoat’s Daughter’

Emma Roberts, Kiernan Shipka and Lucy Boynton were back on the red carpet for the Build Series to discuss ‘The Blackcoat’s Daughter’ on Thursday (March 23) in New York City, following the premiere.

Emma Roberts: Despite not being a huge fan of the sheer trend, I much prefer this Coach Pre-Fall 2017 look over her Chloe dress, as I feel the bow appliqués adds a playful vibe as do the sparkling Mary Janes.

Kiernan Shipka: When opting for a sequined skirt for daytime, it’s always best to keep your styling pieces classic; which is exactly what Kiernan does with this Prada look.

Lucy Boynton: Opting for her second Prada look in so many days, it’s hard not to notice the similarities between the two outfits. Going forward I would like see her delve deeper into that Prada showroom give us something new and stimulating.

‘The Blackcoat’s Daughter’ New York Screening

Emma Roberts, Kiernan Shipka, and Lucy Boynton attended a screening of ‘The Blackcoat’s Daughter’ on Wednesday (March 22) in New York City.

Emma Roberts: While her Chloé Fall 2017 dress represents the brand bohemian spirit well, it didn’t work for me on Emma. The colour is lovely, but I’m not a fan of the heavy accessories here.

Kiernan Shipka: The actress fared much better in her Rosie Assoulin Fall 2017 dress which is defined by its classic femininity and lightness. Richly embroidered with colourful floral motifs, it may appear sheer, but manages to be fully lined without taking away from the delicacy of the design. The look was styled with Nicholas Kirkwood rose-gold ‘Rosing’ pumps. As always she was a perfect 10.

Lucy Boynton: Unlike Emma and Kiernan, Lucy is the new kid on the block. Taken under the wing by Prada, this soft pink look has me yearning for a removal of the coat to see her printed outfit beneath.

Katy Perry In Jean Paul Gaultier & Emma Roberts In Armani Privé – 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

On a night of what feels like a thousand dresses, you can forgive us for missing out one or two.

Here are the looks we shamefully missed from Katy Perry and Emma Roberts.

Katy Perry: The one thing you can’t predict is what style direction Katy is going to take, which makes her so fascinating to watch. On this occasion she went down the refreshingly grownup route donning a dynamic Jean Paul Gautier bronze gown that despite its many interesting elements didn’t feel overworked. Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira jewels plus a Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’clutch and sandals in a deeper shade of bronze completed one of her best looks to date. Beyond stunning.

Emma Roberts: Donning her second Armani Privé gown of the night, Miss Roberts went into Mr. Armani’s archives selecting a gorgeous nude and pale green gown which hails from the designers second Armani Privé collection. At first I thought this was a printed dress but on closer inspection the dress is actually encrusted with crystals. I can only imagine how breath-taking it was in person.

Emma Roberts In Armani Privé – 2017 Oscars

Emma Roberts cut a sophisticated profile at the 2017 Oscars on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood, California.

Old Hollywood glamour was alive and well in her look consisting of an Armani Privé custom gown and Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry.

Oozing with quiet allure, I loved every inch of this outing—from the subtle seduction of the lace bodice to the structured cummerbund and the delicate layers of the tiered, embroidered skirt.

Those fiery, Veronica Lake waves and matte red lip only were the icing on the cake, setting the look aflame.

Nicola Roberts In House of Holland & Cheryl Fernandez Versini In Hervé Léger - 'Elf The Musical' Press Night

Nicola Roberts and Cheryl Fernandez Versini showed support for their BFF Kimberly Walsh who performed at the press night performance of ‘Elf: The Musical’ at the Dominion Theatre on Thursday (November 5) in London, England.

Nicola Roberts: The singer wore a House of Holland Fall 2015 dress which possesses a 50s silhouette, but the look makes a modern statement with its vinyl checked skirt. Chanel pumps and a bright red lip completed the look.

Cheryl Fernandez Versini: The X Factor judge wore a strapless Hervé Léger panelled dress balanced by an elegant fluted hem. I love her effortless, chic styling which brings the look right up to date.
