Damn you Freida Pinto.

BDOTW is going to be hard enough.

The nude runway version of this Valentino Spring 2010 dress is beautiful, but the Indian beauty picked a black sheer version with a nude underlay which I absolutely adore.

Her look was paired with satin black heels and a Roger Vivier Canasta clutch.

I’m loving every thing about Emily Blunt’s Basil Soda Fall 2009 Couture maroon dress from the waist up.

Her patterned skirt doesn’t quite work for me.

Had it been one block colour, I think I would been drooling over this look.

This appears to be a less formal event, so I will concede that she did make a great choice despite my reservations about the skirt.

I love the wrap around beaded bodice as it’s so interesting and unique, plus I adore her silver sandals, but that crystallized ruby clutch is to die for.

I know a lot of you find Claire Danes very boring on the red carpet, but I find her quite calming on the red carpet.

As much as I like big dramatic gowns, with bling and vibrant colours, you never see Claire making huge mistakes on the red carpet.

She has a formula, and it appears she is sticking to it.

For me this Oscar de la Renta look is in a long line for simple flawless looks for Claire.

Amy Adams wears a simple navy Azzaro dress with a twist, as it has a ruched detail going down one side.

All in all, this is a fantastically well dressed event.

Kudos to all these ladies.

Zoe Saldana glowed as always wearing a Calvin Klein Spring 2010 ivory dress.

The dress which is gathered on the skirt to give it some shape was paired with gold accessories.

Jenna Dewan was one of my favourites on this red carpet, as she dazzled me wearing a stunning Edition by Georges Chakra Fall 2009 grey ombre dress with sequin bodice.

Black t-bar Louboutin’s and a black clutch complete this gorgeous look.

Theron’s mini me, Katie Cassidy looked sophisticated and demure wearing an ivory Lela Rose Spring 2010 halter dress which had a metallic silver print and waist band.

Her hair was loosely pulled back as she paired her dress with silver Jimmy Choo “Flynn” sandals.

Fabulous as always.

At first I didn’t quite like Juilanne Moore’s Calvin Klein Spring 2010 ivory, grey and black tank dress at first, but it’s slowing growing on me.

It’s not BDOTW worthy, but she makes it work for her.

I do love the texture.

Diane Kruger opted for a cute short sleeved Balenciaga blue, white and black printed dress with draping around the hips to define the waist.

I like the shape of her dress and the polka dot tights don’t bother me, but I so would’ve referred her to wear the runway version.

There has been a lot of rumors that Renee Zellweger and Carolina Herrera have parted ways, but this cherry red strapless pencil dress screams Carolina Herrera to me.

I love the bow detail on the back, which is accented with an gold jewel detail.

Becki Newton looks divine wearing a ivory corseted Dolce & Gabbana strapless dress with a flirty chiffon skirt.

I love her silver strappy sandals, but I’m drooling over her Chloe bow embellished clutch.

One of my many pet peeves are exposed bra’s - anywhere - this is not exclusive to the red carpet.

If Katie Holmes was going to show us her bra under her black sheer Azzedine Alaia ensemble she could’ve at least worn a push up bra.

Emily Blunt wore a nude tulle strapless Dolce & Gabbana nude strapless dress with a grosgrain waist belt tied into a cute bow.

Her accessories were very complementary to her look without being to matchy matchy.

Robin Wright Penn wore an Emporio Armani black tuxedo jacket and black satin skinny trousers, paired with open-toe Christian Louboutin heels.

I hope she reverts back to those wow-factor looks we saw from her at Cannes.

Dianna Agron wore a strapless D&G tulle dress with Burberry Prorsum platform heels.

These heels are so heavy for this pretty dress.

Brenda Strong’s black David Meister sheath dress is accented by an amazing crystal beaded neckline.

I could gush about that stunning neckline all day, as it’s so pretty.

Sofia Vassilieva looked so cute, in her age appropriate Ina Soltani white party dress with black leather strap details.

The lucky teen got to wear stunning Swarovski jewelry with her fabulous dress.

Another teen cutie Miranda Cosgrove wore a Vena Cava Mandala dress.

The two-tone crew-neck silk dress features a sheer chiffon yoke and asymmetrical metallic fringe and chiffon ruffles on the body.

I love the embellishments on this dress.

Cat Deeley normally always looks fabulous, but on this occasion she looks a hot mess.

Leave this look to those trashy D Listers Cat, you’re way better than this.

Whilst I don’t particularly have a problem with what Amber Rose to this event because she will never look anything but tacky to me, I did have a huge issue with her Ocotber Elle US magazine editorial which was more Maxim than Elle.

Of course it was style by Kanye West.

Elle, seriously, what were you thinking?

Oceana, Nautica & Vanity Fair Celebrate World Oceans Day, New York

Amber Valletta wore a strapless silver Oscar de la Renta Resort 2010 dress, which was recently presented.

The dress has an interesting origami detail on the skirt, which very much reminds me of the strapless dress Myleene Klass wore during Cannes recently.

This is a beautiful sophisticated dress, so I really don’t like how Amber has opted to toughen up her look with those black peep-toes booties.

I’ve been wondering what is it about Estelle that’s so different. She seems to be glowing lately. Then I realised that she has taken off her braces.

I love the swirly print mini dress, it has a very 60s vibe to it, but her lilac clutch, and blue bangle ruin this look for me.

The saying goes, “Before you leave the house, take one thing off.” In this case it should have been two.

Her look is paired with tan Jimmy Choo Prize t-bar sandals.

3rd Annual American Institute For Stuttering Benefit Gala, LA

I love this silver and black beaded Marc Bouwer Spring 2009 halter dress, but not on Emily Blunt.

The dress looks spectacular on the runway, because it is considerably shorter. Emily should have opted for the shorter length.

Simon Aboud Book Launch Party, London

Looking stylishly dishevelled Kate Bosworth wore an interesting painted Josh Goot Fall 2009 top, which looks like it should belong in an art gallery.

She paired her work of art with a simple black mini skirt, a gold purse and Nicholas Kirkwood booties.

8th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball, LA

Angie Harmon looks amazing wearing a Ikat printed chiffon Kaufman Franco wrap dress.

I love the leather straps, as it reminds me of my favourite Michael Kors dress, which has the same detail.

Is it me or does AnnaLynne McCord just get hotter with every red carpet appearance?

This girl really knows how to make things interesting. I should be frowning that she’s wearing a simple black sheath dress, but the back detail and her elegantly coiffed hair really make this a sizzling look.

Keep it coming AnnaLynne.

Oceana Celebrates World Oceans Day, LA

January Jones’ look is ultra soft and feminine in this lemon dress.

I’m sure you will have noticed that the braided belt details on the dress, matched the braids in her hair to complete this Grecian inspired look.

I adore her make-up.

Apollo Theater’s 75th Anniversary Gala Concert & Awards Ceremony, New York

Mariah Carey please give us something new. I feel like I have seen this type of Roberto Cavalli dress on her a million times before.

Many of you have requested Emily Blunt’s Vanity Fair May 2009 editorial, and I thank you all for bringing it to my attention.

The British actress wore some of the season’s most extravagant Spring 2009 couture creations, shot by Michael Roberts.

Emily editorial had a fairy tale-like princess quality to it, with the princes charming, the gowns and the dreamy backdrop.

We are unlikely to see many of these pieces on the red carpet, so I love these types of editorials, as they really bring these couture pieces to life.

I simply adore the first Dior picture above, followed by the Givenchy picture below.

Which is your favourite?

French President’s Official Visit, Mexico

French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife, Carla Bruni, attended an official welcoming ceremony at the National Palace, in Mexico this week.

The First Lady of France’s style is undeniably chic, as she injects her unique brand of sensuous femininity without appearing too sexy, wearing a blush-pink Dior skirt suit.

I’m adoring everything about this look apart from those darn kitten heels. I understand that she doesn’t want to overshadow her husband. But no matter what she wears, she will, so she should bin the boring heels, and bring out the killer heels.

“17 Again” Sydney Premiere

Taylor Swift walked the red carpet in a beautiful white Rachel Gilbert Amber halter neck dress, with gold Fendi heels.

I adore the white and diamante embellished details around the bust.

I’m very surprised she’s not a silver or gold metallic dress, which she tends to favour.

BAFTA Video Games Awards 2009

Kirsty Gallacher wore a blue body-con halter Preen dress, which was worn by Rihanna last month.

This is a strong look, which needs sexy figure, and great shoes. Kirsty fails with the shoes.

This dress deserves more than plain black pumps. Rihanna showed us that with her Nicholas Kirkwood strappy heels.

Monsters Vs. Aliens Premiere, Germany

When Reese Witherspoon got divorced, she started to explore her sexier side. Now I feel she has reverted back to her old self, which isn’t a bad thing.

She looked very sophisticated wearing a teal Valentino satin dress, with an embellished collar, and grey waist band to this event. Her look was complete with matching satin bow peep-toes and flawless make-up.

“The Great Buck Howard” New York Screening

Emily Blunt’s grey suit, is very ‘office interview’. It doesn’t have the same charm as Amy Adams’ white suit yesterday.

Her silvery grey satin blouse seems to be fraying as well, just to further put me off this look.

Selita Ebanks wears an oversized ivory blazer, which almost totally covers her cute sequined mini dress, which really spoils the look for me.

What I am lusting after, are her bubblegum pink Christian Louboutin Decoltissimo pointed pumps.

“Duplicity” London Film Premiere

Yet another black ensemble for Julia Roberts. I would like act surprised, but like Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie, she’s been here before.

The School Of American Ballet’s Winter Ball, New York

I was not crazy about the L’Wren Scott Fall 2009 collection. Too many similar dresses in different colours from past seasons put me off.

Thankfully Sarah Jessica Parker picked one of the best pieces. She wore this slinky body-hugging L’Wren Scott Fall 2009 green snake print dress, with a feathered stole, and strappy Christian Louboutin for L’Wren Scott heels from the collection.

Her look was complete with leather driving gloves, and a diamond bracelet.

Love her.

Some might say given their ages, it should be Blake Lively wearing the tight sexy L’Wren Scott dress, and SJP should have worn this black plunging Ralph Lauren gown, but life’s just not that black and white.

“Dragonball Evolution” World Premiere

If feels like forever since we last saw Emmy Rossum on the red carpet, but I am glad she kept up her sex kitten look.

The actress wore a blue strapless mini vintage Emanuel Ungaro Couture dress, that no doubt wowed the crowds.

Her hair was slicked back, so we could see her exquisite earrings.

The outstanding beautiful Jamie Chung wore dress to match, in this floral Jenni Kayne Resort 2009 which Sophia Bush wore to the Teen Choice Awards last year.

“Sunshine Cleaning” LA Premiere

Emily Blunt and Amy Adams play sisters in this movie, but they couldn’t have looked more different at this premiere.

Emily channeled her romantic side, with a pretty strapless Basil Soda dress, with a gorgeous ruffled bodice.

Whilst Amy opted for a slick in a white Burberry trouser suit.

I don’t recall seeing Amy in a suit before, but it’s a look that really works for her.

“Knowing” New York Premiere

I couldn’t find one picture of Rose Byrne’s smiling. Which is surprising, because I would be, if I wore her strapless Christian Cota Fall 2008 feathered dress.

The maroon dress is outstanding, and the details are exquisite.

“33 Variations” Broadway Opening Night, New York

Rose McGowan wears a black satin and tulle strapless dress from her favourite designers Dolce & Gabbana.

Her look is completed with a jeweled belt from their Spring 2009 collection, and a very questionable pair of brown pumps.

Way to spoil a look McGowan.
