“Di Di Hollywood” Madrid Photocall – Elsa Pataky In Dsquared²

Spanish actress Elsa Pataky looked fabulous when she attends her “Di Di Hollywood” Photocall in Madrid yesterday.

The petite actress who we’re more used to seeing on the red carpet during Cannes Film Festival, wore a bold Dsquared² Fall 2010 red dress.

Her dress has been modified from the runway into a sleeveless shorter dress without the black exposed zipper.

I’m not a fan of the modifications.

The dress is gorgeous on Elsa, but pale in comparison to the runway.

Who Wore Emilio Pucci Better? Elsa Pataky or Taylor Momsen

During Cannes Film Festival Elsa Pataky attended the “Didi Hollywood” international press event wearing an Emilio Pucci Fall 2010 mini dress.

Her dress was paired with a gorgeous pair of Emilio Pucci multi-strap suede sandals and a silver box clutch.

Taylor Momsen wore the same dress on the ‘Gossip Girl’ set this week with Dr. Marten boots and a silver cuff.

You need plenty of attitude to pull off this dress.

Both look great in this dress, but I have to give this to Taylor simply because I love that the dress is shorter on her because like Anja they both have long legs.

I also think the dress works better with Taylor’s attitude.

2010 Cannes Film Festival Style Spotlight On Elsa Pataky

“Didi Hollywood” Press Conference

Elsa Pataky is a Cannes Film Festival veteran.

The Spanish actress always attends wearing an array of stunning dresses.

Her Cannes experience started off with at the “Didi Hollywood” Press Conference this week.

She dared to wear an Emilio Pucci Fall 2010 navy asymmetrical mini dress which had been worn on the runway by the stunning Anja Rubik.

Elsa’s version was fully lined from the runway which she paired with black strappy Emilio Pucci sandals.

Much prefer Anja’s version, but I guess it’s not real-way friendly.

“Montblanc Party”

At the “Montblanc Party” she opted to wear one of her favourite designers Elie Saab.

The petite actress look stunning in this blue Elie Saab Spring 2010 figure-hugging dress, which she paired with Sergio Rossi heels.

“Tribute to Spanish Cinema” Photocall

I wasn’t particularly fond of this ruffled jumpsuit which Elsa wore to the “Tribute to Spanish Cinema” Photocall.

The colour is nice, but the ruffles make her appear wider than she is.

“You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger” Premiere

As much as her stunning white Roberto Cavalli gown deserves a wow from us, it’s such a de ja vu gown as Eva Longoria wore a similar gown just days before.

“Vanity Fair/Gucci Party”

At the Vanity Fair/Gucci Party last night, Elsa wore a Gucci Fall 2010 one-of-a kind dark brown sleeveless embellished dress with deep v-neck.

Nude accessories completed the look.

So far, so good from Elsa.

She normally pulls out all the stops at the amfAR Gala which takes place on Thursday.

Dita Von Teese, Elsa Pataky and Olga Kurylenko Front Row @ Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture

Dita Von Teese, Elsa Pataky and Olga Kurylenko were the guests of Elie Saab at his Spring 2010 Couture show earlier today.

Our hearts stopped when Dita walked in wearing an electric blue Elie Saab Fall 2009 plunging dress.

Stunning in pictures, jaw-dropping gorgeous in the flesh with not a single hair out of place. She makes me ache with her level of perfection.

Elsa opted for a short sassy red Spring 2010 belted dress with black strappy heels.

Olga is stunning in the flesh. She happily spoke to reporters as she made her way to her seat wearing an Elie Saab Fall 2009 dove grey dress.

I’m not crazy about her choice of heels, but when your face is that gorgeous who’s looking at your feet?

OTM Association Dinner

I’m so upset I couldn’t find a full-length picture of Dita von Teese, but I will guess she was wearing Louboutin’s with her Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009 polka dot dress.

As usual Dita picked the perfect dress for her unique style.

I love the voluminous shoulders and the seashell accents on her bodice.

Red lippie as standard.

Anna Mouglalis was one of the few celebrities invited to the romantic Chanel Resort 2010 presentation.

Here she wears her second piece from that collection.

Her gold and black mini dress was paired with the runway cardigan of the same distinct gold detail.

A black and gold clutch, plus black tights and pumps complete the look.

Elsa Pataky always looks so amazing whether she’s wearing Armani Prive, Elie Saab or this black and grey Herve Leger bandage dress.

I love that jagged neckline.

Social Events Of The Week

Ischia Global Film & Music Fest 2009, Italy

Elsa Pataky always seems to be in couture weather it’s Elie Saab or Armani Privé.

On this occasion she wore an open back Armani Privé Spring 2009 dress with the beautiful web-like embroidered detail.

2009 Giffoni Film Festival, Italy

Eva Mendes was the epitome of summer chic wearing a Tibi Fall 2009 belted floral print maxi dress with Samantha Willis jewels and Stuart Weitzman “Alex” crochet espadrilles.

Da Silvano Restaurant, New York

Rihanna was out to lunch in New York where she was spotted showing off her new mohawk.

She’s clipped the sides and back of her head, leaving the top untouched. She rocks it well, but it’s a look I’ll never copy.

Rihanna isn’t shy as she has been wearing very revealing clothing lately.

I think this is the 4th time I’ve seen her bra through the sheer tops she loves to wear.

This time she wore a sheer top over a striped bikini with a pair of skinny ankle zip jeans.

She completed her look with Maison Martin Margiela shoe boots and a Nina Ricci bag.

“Charlotte Russe Fall 2009 Launch Event”

Jessica Szohr is fast becoming a red carpet regular. This time she was wearing a two-tone Charlotte Russe playsuit which showed off her toned legs.

She completed her look with beautiful black strappy sandals, a large statement necklace and a maroon clutch.

Michelle Trachtenberg’s black dress is so so, but I love her Giuseppe Zanotti clutch with multi-coloured stars and her electric blue ankle boots.

I can’t really fault Rumer Willis’ look.

Yes it’s all black and verging on dull, but at least the fit is right and she doesn’t look awkward.

Her look is paired with Christian Louboutin Paquita sandals and a black D&G clutch.

Casio Exilim MOBILE NYC Launch, New York

For once Taylor Momsen isn’t dressed like a Guns n’ Roses groupie, but her eye make-up is too heavy for that cute white dress she is wearing

Stella McCartney Presents New Collection At The Corner Berlin, Germany

Cool and chic as always Stella McCartney presented her new collection in Berlin wearing a Resort 2010 black cropped jacket, a white half tucked in tee and ombre ankle jeans from her own collection.

“Late Show With David Letterman”, New York

Anna Paquin channeled her inner geisha girl wearing this black figure-hugging dress Alexander McQueen dress with Jimmy Choo heels and a chic updo.

It’s On With Alexa Chung, New York

What’s with everyone wearing leather this summer?

We first had Chloe Sevigny wearing a leather jumpsuit this week, and now we have Ashley Greene wearing leather shorts.

The “Twilight” actress wore them with her cute floral Escada blouse to the MTV Studios this week.

Her sassy look was complete with sexy strappy sandals and a Gucci Hysteria bag.

Front Row At Armani Privé Fall 2009

Is Megan Fox serious? Like really?

She’s at a Couture show for Christ sake, can’t she at least pretend like she deserves to be there.

She should be taking acting advice from the great Cate Blanchett – who’s doing her best to ignore her – because lets face it pouting her way through “Transformers” doesn’t make one a good actress.

*All hail the Queen is back*

Cate Blanchett hasn’t been on the red carpet in a long while as she currently lives in Australia.

Cate and Giorgio Armani have a perfect working relationship.  He creates stunning pieces I’m sure with her in mind, which is why the star was the guest of honour at this show.

She didn’t wear any of the pieces on my wish list, but this Armani Privé Spring 2009 floral sheath dress with an oriental vibe is simply stunning on her and she wears it with such grace.

We are still and will never be worthy *bows*

Kasia Smutniak is the face of Giorgio Armani’s new fragrance ‘Idole d’Armani’.

Giorgio chose Kasia because she has a fresh and modern appeal which combines true feminine sensuality.  She is a rare beauty.

The stunning model wore a floral print Armani Privé Spring 2009 jacket, with a black skirt as she posed alongside the designer.

She wears one Armani Privé dress and this grants Megan Fox front row access and a seat next to the great Cate Blanchett?

Seriously what is this world coming to?

Her dove grey one-shoulder Armani Privé dress is gorgeous I won’t take that away from her, but the make-up once again lets her down.

She really needs to sack her make-up artist because she’s gone from orange to yellow now she’s just too pale.

Elsa Pataky always presents herself well. She’s always graceful, elegant and well dressed and knows a thing or two about Couture gowns so she has earned her spot in the front row.

Her bangs were a bit too blunt during Cannes but they have grown out to a more versatile length.

Her Giorgio Armani Pre-Fall 2009 LBD is simple but so so elegant. I love the silhouette it gives her and the silver details on the shoulders which she complements with a silver clutch.

My hero worship for Dasha Zhukova started off very high at the beginning of the week, but her stock is falling quite sharply.

She looks cute in her Thakoon Resort 2009 printed dress, but it’s much for fitting for an informal event not an Armani Privé show.

I almost missed this because I didn’t recognise her.

Katie Grand would have stood out. I wouldn’t have missed Katie Grand.

Isabelle Huppert also decided to dress down for the occasion considering she was the couture queen at Cannes Film Festival.

Très disappointing.
