Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Is Megan Fox serious? Like really?

She’s at a Couture show for Christ sake, can’t she at least pretend like she deserves to be there.

She should be taking acting advice from the great Cate Blanchett – who’s doing her best to ignore her – because lets face it pouting her way through “Transformers” doesn’t make one a good actress.

*All hail the Queen is back*

Cate Blanchett hasn’t been on the red carpet in a long while as she currently lives in Australia.

Cate and Giorgio Armani have a perfect working relationship.  He creates stunning pieces I’m sure with her in mind, which is why the star was the guest of honour at this show.

She didn’t wear any of the pieces on my wish list, but this Armani Privé Spring 2009 floral sheath dress with an oriental vibe is simply stunning on her and she wears it with such grace.

We are still and will never be worthy *bows*

Kasia Smutniak is the face of Giorgio Armani’s new fragrance ‘Idole d’Armani’.

Giorgio chose Kasia because she has a fresh and modern appeal which combines true feminine sensuality.  She is a rare beauty.

The stunning model wore a floral print Armani Privé Spring 2009 jacket, with a black skirt as she posed alongside the designer.

She wears one Armani Privé dress and this grants Megan Fox front row access and a seat next to the great Cate Blanchett?

Seriously what is this world coming to?

Her dove grey one-shoulder Armani Privé dress is gorgeous I won’t take that away from her, but the make-up once again lets her down.

She really needs to sack her make-up artist because she’s gone from orange to yellow now she’s just too pale.

Elsa Pataky always presents herself well. She’s always graceful, elegant and well dressed and knows a thing or two about Couture gowns so she has earned her spot in the front row.

Her bangs were a bit too blunt during Cannes but they have grown out to a more versatile length.

Her Giorgio Armani Pre-Fall 2009 LBD is simple but so so elegant. I love the silhouette it gives her and the silver details on the shoulders which she complements with a silver clutch.

My hero worship for Dasha Zhukova started off very high at the beginning of the week, but her stock is falling quite sharply.

She looks cute in her Thakoon Resort 2009 printed dress, but it’s much for fitting for an informal event not an Armani Privé show.

I almost missed this because I didn’t recognise her.

Katie Grand would have stood out. I wouldn’t have missed Katie Grand.

Isabelle Huppert also decided to dress down for the occasion considering she was the couture queen at Cannes Film Festival.

Très disappointing.

Garcelle Beauvais arrived at US Weekly Hot Hollywood Style Issue Event back in April wearing a head-turning BCBG Max Azria asymmetrical dress with a blouson bodice and a front panel that created a fluid drape.

What really makes this look special is the stunning statement piece that adorns her neck.

Arielle Kebbel kept her dress simple at the “Maxim’s 10th Annual Hot 100 Celebration” in Santa Monica, by just wearing a black pumps and a black clutch.

At the Cannes Film Festival Elsa Pataky attended the “Akvinta Presents A Night of Hollywood Domino Party” wearing the same dress with a less impressive necklace plus a black clutch and bronze peep-toes.

Garcelle wins this by a landslide all thanks to that stunning necklace.

Elsa Pataky was one of the many beautiful women to attend the Extreme Beauty In Vogue party during Milan Fashion Week back in March.

The actress wore a Dolce & Gabbana strapless black and gold baroque dress, with black and gold Dolce & Gabbana platform heels and a black ruched clutch.

Megan Fox wore a shorten version of the same dress when she walked the red carpet at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards last month.

She wore her dress with Christian Louboutin Differa sandals and carried a gold clutch to complement her dress.

As much as I love the shorten version, I really hate Megan’s hair so Elsa wins this for me.

Elsa Pataky was one of the many glamorous celebrities in the front row at Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2009 presentation in Milan, back in March.

She wore a Dolce & Gabbana barqoue dress from the Spring 2009 collection, which was blooming with a gorgeous beige, gold and rose floral print, which she wore with gold platform heels.

Dita Von Teese hosted a party at the VIP Room, Point Croisette during Cannes Film Festival, wearing the same dress, but with a twist.

She opted for one of the rosette jeweled belts from the Spring 2009 collection to add a bit more punch to her look, but those fuschia satin heels would have sufficed.

As Dita over cooked this dress with the belt, I’ll give this to Elsa.

This Dolce & Gabbana dress is available from Luisa via Roma.com for €1,895.

Heidi Montag is a huge fan of Herve Leger bandage dresses. It wouldn’t be a surprised if she owned one in every colour.

Mrs Pratt joined many other reality TV stars, and D list celebrities at Maxim’s 10th Annual Hot 100 Celebration in Santa Monica last week.

She wore her dress with silver accessories, including a Nancy Gonzalez clutch.

One of the many beautiful stars of Cannes Film Festival, Elsa Pataky, climbed on board Montblanc’s private boat, were they hosted a party this week.

She relaxed on the boat, kicking off her heels, as walking the red carpet in Louboutin’s all day must be agonizing.

I feel Elsa wore this dress because she liked it, rather than Heidi’s who only wore it for attention, plus I hate the necklace Heidi wore with it, so Elsa wins for me.

The Herve Leger Adrienne bandage mini dress was uploaded to the international Net-A-Porter site on Wednesday, and it’s already sold out.

I secretly knew she wouldn’t let me down.

Tthats 3 years in a row she’s wowed at Cannes.

Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet in not only colour, but this season colour – nude.

Her chiffon one-sleeved Versace Fall 2008 gown is so beautiful, delicate and feminine yet she’s still exudes her usual sex appeal.

Those famous full lips are red divine, and her look is complete with champagne heels.

This is definitely one of her best looks to date.

Diane Kruger was equally radiant, if not more so than Angelina.

The stunning actress walked the red carpet in a custom made ivory silk chiffon Marchesa gown with flutter sleeves.

I love the cowl back dress with silver floral embroidered detail.

The side swept bun, and simple diamonds quietly scream elegance.

Best Dressed of The Week just became even harder.

Elsa Pataky swept the red carpet with her black Elie Saab Spring 2009 Couture strapless gown.

Elsa likes to be a sex kitten on the red carpet, but with a few diamonds here and there and her hair pulled back she looks very demure.

I would’ve loved to have seen her in another colour gown, as she wore black to the Chopard “Cascade” perfume launch.

Asia Argento plays the femme fatale wearing a bold Armani Prive Spring 2009 strapless gown with a blood red fringed skirt.

She paired her devilish look with matching shoes, and bright red lipstick for an eye-catching pout.

I’m surprised to say that I kinda like Sharon Stone in this Balmain Fall 2009 gown.

It shows off her body – which looks amazing – and she’s not wearing some tacky animal print which she’s usually so fond of.

For once Sharon, I don’t hate.

I’m happy to see Dita von Teese wearing something from the Christian Dior Spring 2009 Couture collection, but I’m disappointed she didn’t pick one of the more colourful risky pieces.

I hope those gowns aren’t destined to only be editorial gowns.

Dita wore her one-shouldered dress with a red clutch to match her perfect pout.

Cute, but safe for Dita.

Emma de Caunes also opted for a black Elie Saab dress, but her embellished cocktail dress was from the Fall 2009 collection.

Judge Shu Qi looked angelic wearing a white Roberto Cavalli Spring 2009 gown, which had a gold chain detail embellishing the trim of the bodice.

German actress Jana Pallaske wore an eventful Paule Ka Spring 2009 strapless dress on the red carpet with bandage straps, black contrasting bodice, and feathered hem.

There’s a lot going on, but it’s fun and fruity.

French actress Frédérique Bel also opted for a Paule Ka Spring 2009 creation.

Hers was less cutesy, and more risqué with the cut-out panel showing off her toned abs.

Natasha Poly’s Roberto Cavalli Spring 2009 strapless black and grey gown has plenty of frou frou in the skirt with the ruffles and tulle layers.

In this supermodel face-off Natasha’s soft make-up and sultry smile wins me over.

Robin Wright Penn opts for her second Narciso Rodriguez gown of Cannes Film Festival.

This time it’s refreshing white crepe gown, with sleek lines to give her a beautiful silhouette.

Michelle Yeoh opted for a beige strapless Roberto Cavalli gown with stunning gold accessories to compliment the gold embroidered details on her bodice.

I’ve never been a fan of Joss Stone’s style.

She over did the hippy maxi look, but here she opts for a yellow haltered dress which does nothing for her.

Her yellow dress was paired with green heels, with a pink tip. !?!?!?
