Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Ellie Goulding In Rebecca Minkoff - Late Show With David LettermanEllie Goulding was quite the snow bunny, as she confronted New York City’s wintry mix on her way to an appearance on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman.’

The songstress hardly looked phased at all by the cold, as she skipped a coat in favour of an oversized, sheer Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2014 black mesh top and black leggings.

Her edgy, bra-baring top, which was arguably far more flattering via the runway’s styling, may have been rather reminiscent of a baggy, sports jersey here. She styled the look with black patent holographic boots and a black handbag, topping it all off with a fun black hat.

Hopefully, she didn’t have too far to walk, as I’m shivering just looking at this see-through shirt.

Ellie Goulding In Christopher Kane - BRIT Awards Nominations

Ellie Goulding joined Pixie Lott and Laura Whitmore at the 2014 BRIT Awards nominations event hosted at ITV Studios on Thursday (January 9) in London.

The singer donned a Christopher Kane Resort 2014 black organza sheer frock with an abstract line cut-out detail throughout.

Ellie styled the look with Emporio Armani shoes, trademark relaxed waves and glossy lips.

While I love the dress, there is, as always, something missing. I never feel a sense of excitement with Ellie.

Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards

Here is a roundup of the rest of the attendees at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards held at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London yesterday evening.

Ellie Goulding: The singer sported a barely there makeup look, wearing a dual-colour ivory-and-white Dolce & Gabbana strapless frock with a corseted bodice and velvet skirt accented with a satin waistband. Does her makeup wash her out?

Paloma Faith: The one person we can usually rely on for a bit of colour and plenty of drama opted for a very demure look by her standards, wearing a black velvet Stella McCartney long-sleeved frock with embroidered sleeves, which she styled with all-black accessories.

Mollie King: There’s something about Mollie that hasn’t quite been working for me of late. The best-dressed member of The Saturdays kept it super simple, wearing a black Dolce & Gabbana shift dress with black pumps that reads boring to me. A statement necklace would’ve made a world of difference, as that Silvia Furmanovich cuff and cocktail ring aren’t enough to pique my interest.

'The Hunger Games Catching Fire' London Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

It was a very busy day yesterday, so here is a quick roundup of the other celebs who took to the red carpet for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ London premiere joining the main stars, Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Banks, Jena Malone and Willow Shields.

Edith Bowman: The radio presenter was the host on the night, interviewing all the stars on the night. She didn’t fade into the background wearing this Vilshenko Fall 2013 gown with a ruffled neckline which featured a poppy print, which couldn’t have been more appropriate on Remembrance Day. Despite how incredibly busy this is, I kinda like it… a lot.

Natalie Dormer: The ‘Game of Thrones’ actress smouldered wearing an Emilio Pucci black gown with point d’esprit and sequin detail and a sexy open back, which she styled with black Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps.

Laura Haddock: I was surprised to find a solo picture of Laura, as she and hubby Sam Clafin were pretty inseparable all night. She looked divine wearing a Sophia Kah white dress with black-lace detailing and an open back.

Meghan Markle: The ‘Suits’ actress kept it simple and sexy in a black Alexander McQueen dress. The classic LBD is given an elegant twist with gold crystal and glass embellishments and a flirty ruffled hem styled with black strappy sandals.

Ellie Goulding In Dolce & Gabbana - 2013 MTV EMAs

Ellie Goulding joined Katy Perry at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam this evening for the MTV EMA’s 2013.

Those of you sick of the sheer lace trend, please look away now, as Ellie selected a Dolce & Gabbana black lace dress which leaves little to the imagination.

Cut from decadent lace to a sleek feminine silhouette, her ‘I See London, I See France, I See Your Underpants’ long sleeve frock was styled with black t-bar patent leather Casadei pumps with neutral makeup and that never-changing wavy hairstyle.
