Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Back in November, Eva Mendes was in Madrid to promote her movie “The Other Guys.” She did so wearing an eye-catching Prada number from the label’s brightly-coloured Spring 2011 collection.

The eclectic strapless dress features green and black stripes, bold baroque prints in lime green and orange and a ruffled hem.

Eva accessorized with only a pair of black Prada peep-toe shoes, letting the bright prints of the dress make the biggest statement.

She wore her hair down and kept her makeup fresh and glowing.

Elle MacPherson wore the same dress last week whilst attend a screening to launch party for “Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model” at the Soho Hotel in London.

The supermodel added a row of gold bracelets to her look, including a gorgeous snake bangle and a pair of sheer, peep-toe ankle booties.

Elle opted to style her hair in loose waves and added smoky eyeshadow and light pink lipstick to her look.

Both women look absolutely stunning in this dress, but their shoe choices leave a lot to be desired for.

Eva’s are uninspiring whilst Elle’s feel too dressy for this type of look.

Overall though, I think Eva looks the best as the dress hugs her curves in all the right places so she wins for me.

Despite having so much to catch up on from the weekend, I just had to share this trio of yummy mummies on the school run this morning in London and New York.

Elle MacPherson: My current girl crush of the moment has the supermodel/yummy mummy crown. She looked gorgeous teaming a simple black cardi with red hot Isabel Marant cropped leather pants and Isabel Marant bow front kitten heels which were both from the Fall 2010 collection.

Claudia Schiffer: The German model may not have been going for all out glamour, but she oozed an effortless off-duty style whilst dropping her kids off to school. She becomes the latest celeb to fall in love with the Gucci ‘Snaffle Bit’ Bag behind, Heidi Klum, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kylie Minogue and Florence Welch. Claudia is also following in the very trendy footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow who has been seen frequently wearing these nude Sergio Rossi ‘Maori’ wedge booties.

Sarah Jessica Parker: Was spotted taking young James to school this morning wearing an array of colours. She sported a biscuit coloured oversized sweater which she paired with Rag & Bone skinny jeans. Stone ballet flats, a fuchsia pink scarf and a Fendi ‘Silvana’ top handle bag completed her colourful look.

They all have oversized shades in common.

The beautiful Elle MacPherson who’s been in inspired by the 70s a lot recently, attended the Vogue and IWC present ‘Peter Lindbergh’s Portofino’ in Milan, Italy yesterday.

She wore a crisp white MaxMara Spring 2011 suit for the occasion.

Despite not being a fan of pants that long, Elle total rocks this look.

I love her blonde bouncy curls and the gold cuffs she chose to accessorize this look.

There’s always a sexy twist with Elle and on this occassion she revealed that her pant suit has a thigh-high split to show off her enviable long legs and gold slingbacks.

Elle Macpherson continues to put her best foot forward whilst dropping her kids off to school every morning in London.

If only we could all look this fabulous at 8.30am.

Today she continued to channel a 70s inspired look wearing a white shirt, Stella McCartney 70s patch pocket jeans, gold bracelets and 70s inspired hairdo that Farrah Fawcett would’ve been proud of.

She completed her look with a Mulberry Tillie shoulder bag.

Elle Macpherson was more radiant than the sun as she posed for the cameras at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel in Florida yesterday.

The supermodel and yummy mummy has taken some time off the school run to promote her latest venture as the host of NBC’s “Fashion Star.”

She was oozing ’70s glam wearing a mustard yellow halter top, with matching flared pants from the Etro Spring 2011 collection.

I love how she accessorized with a gold Lara Bohinc Lunar Eclipse necklace, a tan gold buckle belt, a stack of gold bracelets and aviator shades.

This is such a hot look that I would love to put Elle up for BDOTW.

This week Elle Macpherson was spotted leaving the Bottega Veneta flagship store relaunch party in London.

The stylish supermodel wore a white Bottega Veneta white cropped jacket, a black vest top and cream killer heels.

You can’t help but totally focus on her Roberto Cavalli leopard-print harem pants.

Leopard print and harem pants are things people love to hate, but Elle rocks the hell out of them with relative ease.

An ivory satin clutch, voluminous tousled curls, peachy lips and a gold chain belt with a black tasselled finish completed her look.

There is a lot going on – too much I hear some of you say – but she makes it work for her.

I gotta say I don’t hate it.
