Elle Fanning In Valentino Couture – 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards

Most 12 year old girls are excited about wearing Topshop and H&M, Elle Fanning is continuing to wear Couture on the red carpet.

The young actress wore her second look from the Valentino Fall 2010 Couture collection to the 2011 Critics’ Choice Awards which was held last night at the Hollywood Palladium in LA.

She looked sweet and charming in her beige strapless dress with coral beading which was worn with a beige chiffon blouse.

As always her hair is kept clean and simple.

Her look was complete with cream Valentino Spring 2011 ankle strap heels which are lovely, but I would’ve died for the runway heels.

Does anyone else see a Valentino ad campaign in this girl’s future?

Elle Fanning For Interview Magazine December/January 2010/2011

I still find it so hard to believe that actress Elle Fanning is only 12 years old.

The youngster appears in the latest edition of Interview magazine looking angelic wearing Valentino, Chanel, Marc Jacobs and 3.1 Phillip Lim.

The black and white images were captured by Steven Pan.

I love her editorial. The pictures are so beautiful and clean and I love how they don’t make Elle look too grown up.

Her beauty and innocence translates well in these pictures.

Here are some extracts from her interview:

On already working with so many great people: “It’s amazing that I get to meet all these people. I’ve learned so much from all of them. I just worked with Sofia Coppola and that was amazing. I learned so much from her. I can’t even describe how much fun I had.”

On fashion: “I love fashion! I love clothes! I really like vintage clothes, so in my closet there’s a lot of ’50s stuff. I go to the stores and shop around.”

On her favouite designers: “I wore the Marc Jacobs dress, so I love Marc Jacobs. He has a vintage flair. But I’ve always worn a lot of vintage stuff, so it hasn’t been a lot of
designers. If I see something that I like, I just buy it.” Read more…

Elle Fanning In Rodarte – “Somewhere” New York Screening

It feels so strange to have a “Girl Crush” on a teen actress, but I’m loving Elle Fanning’s style at the moment.

She’s gone from cutesy princesses’ dresses, to adorable Marc Jacob dresses, to Valentino Couture, to edgy Rodarte in a very short space of time.

With each look she’s not trying to be anyone she’s not, and she’s not trying to look older than her 12 years.

I love her how angelic Elle manages to look in her Rodarte tan suede and gold leather embossed dress.

I wouldn’t advise stars to steer too far away from the Rodarte runway styling, so I’m not surprised to see Elle stick to the same white see-through socks, and Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte metallic gold embossed wedge heels which we saw on the runway.

Elle Fanning In Valentino Couture – “Somewhere” LA Premiere

Elle Fanning continues to grow to be quite the sophisticated young lady on the red carpet.

Some of us will only ever dream of wearing couture, but the young actress was lucky enough to wear a Valentino Fall 2010 Couture dress when she attended the “Somewhere” LA Premiere last night.

She looked adorable in her long sleeve dress with a bow front detail.

Her look was completed with bow accented embellished Valentino Fall 2010 Couture heels and a ‘Heidi’ braid.

Elle Fanning In Valentino – Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ 2nd Annual Governors Awards

Elle Fanning joined Natalie Portman and Hilary Swank on the red carpet at the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ 2nd Annual Governors Awards in LA this weekend.

The teen star has been walking the red carpet since 2007, but this year she’s really come into her own wearing big name designers.

On this occasion she wore a strapless Valentino Resort 2011 dress.

The model never really sold this dress to me, but I love it on Elle.

Her dress which is covered in floral appliqués is so cute. I love the bow at the waist and the flared skirt.

Unlike many teen stars before her Elle continues to be fashionable and age appropriate at all times.

17th Annual ELLE Women In Hollywood Tribute Event – Elle Fanning In Marchesa

None of us would’ve predicted that the first person to wear a look from Marchesa’s Spring 2011 collection would be young Elle Fanning.

Dakota’s younger sister attended the 17th Annual ELLE Women In Hollywood Tribute Event in LA last night wearing a Marchesa white pleated organza necklace dress.

The mini cocktail dress has a white beaded neckline instead of the mint green neckline the dress was presented with.

I think it would have worked either way for Elle as has the same colouring as the model.

I’m not crazy about the shoe choice and I wish she wore her hair up to show off the detail, but this a beautiful look. One of the best on the night.

The young star looks so confident and cute on the red carpet. I would’ve been a nervous wreak to be around all those stars.
