Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Elizabeth Banks continued to set the red carpet alight during the 2012 LA Film Festival this weekend where she attended the premiere of her latest movie, ‘People Like Us’.

She stunned wearing a J. Mendel Fall 2012.

Glistening in a mosaic jacquard dress with a plunging neckline, cut-outs at the shoulders and bodice, and a pleated full skirt, she swept her hair up into a modern updo.

Her flirty dress was styled with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals with gold metal accents, statement jewels and a black Lena Erziak ‘Emile’ clutch.

It’s a head-to-toe winning look. Long may this roll continue.

Elizabeth Banks made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ yesterday evening.

The ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’ actress shared a funny story about the MTV Movie Awards.

When she accepted her ‘Best On-Screen Transformation’ award and thanked her husband, the camera panned to a man who wasn’t her husband.

It was actually her agent.

I love her Dolce & Gabbana colourful look.

She teamed a gold-and-yellow jacquard top with a cheerful floral-print skirt.

Elizabeth perfectly completed her look with Sergio Rossi mimosa leather platform sandals with a metallic finish and a buckled ankle strap.

A blue statement ring, soft, beachy waves and a coral lip colour completed her look.

Elizabeth Banks attended the USC Shoah Foundation Institute Ambassadors For Humanity Gala, held in Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

My favourite gal wore a Bill Blass Fall 2012 dress.

Her pine-green sleeveless sheath dress with black accented cut-out details at the waist is yet another gorgeous look from the actress.

Irene Neuwirth triangular-shaped dangle earrings plus a black onyx ring from the same designer was styled with a Nancy Gonzalez black box clutch and black sandals.

Glossy nude lips and dark eyes completed the look. I love her quiffed bun.

Never one to disappoint on the red carpet, Elizabeth Banks brought some much-needed excitement to the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, held in Universal City, California, on Sunday evening.

Trying out a very much on-trend jumpsuit, Elizabeth looked stunning in a black Elie Saab Fall 2012 one-piece with edgy lace-like panels.

Elizabeth nails this tricky trend thanks to flawless tailoring, which keeps the entire look sleek.

I am completely enamored with Elizabeth’s hair and makeup on this occasion, as her cool top-knot and smoky eyes give an extra bit of toughness to the look.

Black Ruthie Davis ‘Beverly’ heels, a hot-pink manicure, a Stephen Webster dagger ring and a Lulu Guinness Black Perspex lips clutch complete the ensemble.

Elizabeth Banks continues to be my girl of the moment by looking sensational on the red carpet for the ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’ premiere, held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood yesterday evening.

On this occasion she wore an Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

Whilst the oxblood dress with black embroidery is a tad moody for a Spring premiere, I love the styling with matching Alexander McQueen knuckle clutch with gold hardware and the two-tone McQueen pumps.

She entwined a Fred Leighton gold swallow brooch into her updo and opted for neutral makeup with a pink lip colour and a Fred Leighton 1940′s citrine ring to complete her look.

The only thing missing for me is a belt. Not the lookbook corset belt, just a thinner black leather belt.

Do you like this look, or should Elizabeth have saved this for a winter premiere?

Elizabeth Banks was spotted outside the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City prior to her guest appearance on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ yesterday afternoon.

The ‘Hunger Games’ actress wore black for only the second time this year.

After attending the Marc Jacobs Fall 2012 presentation, I did say that apart from the sequin dress Elizabeth wore to the ‘Hunger Games’ Paris premiere, many of the dresses would require modifications to make them red carpet ready.

Elizabeth’s black paisley-print mini dress only retains the material and the pleated detail at the waist from the runway look.

With her hair teased into an updo, she completed her look with vintage jewels and Jerome C. Rousseau ‘Orner’ pewter strappy sandals.
