Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Here is the final round up from the 2011 Met Gala.

Salma Hayek wore a costume Alexander McQueen peach organza rose dress. We have all questioned her McQueen choices in the past, but this type of gown is perfect for her. She accessorized with a McQueen clutch and Gucci jewels.

Margherita Missoni is her own best brand ambassador. She was glowing wearing an ombre Missoni Fall 2011 knit dress with a feathered skirt.

Sofia Vergara wore a Carolina Herrera strapless blossom print faille gown. Like Renee she’s found the perfect designer for her. So refreshing not to see her twins spilling out.

Anna Dello Russo chose a masculine military Alexander McQueen look which included a black duchesse satin tailcoat, white shirt and gold fern embroidered pants.

I love the look, she’s been doing the masculine thing a lot lately, but that Egg on her head is bordering on GaGa terrority. Ridiculous.

We have yet another stunning Versace dress on the red carpet at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

Elizabeth Banks should’ve been the face of Versace, because she wears Versace more than any other celebrity at the moment.

This is her 3rd Versace red carpet look in a row and she also wore Versace to the same event last year.

On this occasion she picked a vintage Versace mini dress from the archives.

The dress is entirely covered in crystals and is perfectly complemented by her Swarovski ‘Kiosque’ crystal silver pattern clutch.

A Forevermark diamond swirl ring and Jimmy Choo ‘Viola’ sandals completed her look.

Elizabeth Banks loves Versace.

The last time we saw her on the red carpet she wore Versace, and last night she wore yet another look from the Spring 2011 collection to Tom Ford’s Beverly Hills Flagship Store Opening in LA.

Her black cocktail dress with cut outs and patent leather details was modified from the runway as Elizabeth’s version doesn’t have the printed panel.

I really like the printed panel as it give the look a Versace stamp, but I also love her green heels.

The print and the heels wouldn’t have worked so well together, so I’ll take the modified look and heels over the print with black pumps.

Print or plain? How do you prefer this look?

“The Next Three Days” New York premiere took place last night at the Ziegfeld Theatre.

Actress and L’Oreal spokesperson Elizabeth Banks looked stunning on the red carpet.

She epitomized the ‘Versace woman’ by looking super sex on the red carpet wearing a Versace Spring 2011 dress sporting a confident smile and a sexy dip in her hips.

It would be hard for her not to look sexy in this dress with its deep plunging neckline and cut-out details.

Her dress would’ve had plenty of movement on the red carpet as the skirt has two layers of fringing.

The all black Versace look included black platform sandals and a black leather clutch with gold hardware.

Ruby drop earrings complete the look.

Does anyone else think this is BDOTW worthy?

Before the amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala, celebs gathered on board Giorgio Armani’s boat to honor the extraordinary work of the cast and crew of the upcoming Doug Liman-directed thriller “Fair Game.”

Elizabeth Banks opted to wear a cobalt blue, jewel encrusted Giorgio Armani Spring 2010 strapless dress with a thigh-high split.

I love her fresh take on this look, as she wore the dress without the runway belt and the shimmering blue layered skirt.

Natalie Imbruglia wore a cute striped Emporio Armani Spring 2010 skirt paired with a white top.

Her nautical look was quite appropriate considering the event took place on a boat.

Emily Blunt went totally against the grain and opted for a white Dior one shoulder gown which had silver embroidery on the skirt.

When did it stop becoming a faux pa to attend a designers event wearing another designer?

FINALLY…it’s been 9 whole days since the start of Cannes Film Festival and I’ve been having serious withdrawal symptoms like many of you from the lack of Versace at this event.

Elizabeth Banks heard our pleas, as she graced the red carpet at the 2010 amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS Gala this evening wearing an Atelier Versace Fall 2009 gown.

Her pink embellished halter gown is beautiful, but I don’t like it on her.

It’s almost the same pink as her previous look, but on this occasion it doesn’t work for me as she looks totally washed out.

She also totally kills the look stone dead with her hair.

The messy cornrow is literally sending cold shivers down my spine.

I had to laugh when I saw this picture, because my expression was exactly the same.

She should’ve never styled her hair like this with roots that deep.
