Elizabeth Banks In Monique Lhuillier – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ After-Party

Elizabeth Banks In Monique Lhuillier - ‘The Hunger Games Mockingjay – Part 1′ After-Party

Elizabeth Banks attended an after-party following her epic BDOTY showing on the red carpet for the world premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ held at Victoria House on Monday (November 10) in London, England.

Toning things down by just one degree, Elizabeth swapped movie star glamour for high-octane shine, donning a Monique Lhuillier Spring 2015 coral lamé strapless draped tea-length dress with a full skirt styled with a metallic-rose-gold belt, a Lee Savage ‘Broken Space’ clutch, a Jennifer Fisher reverse choker, and Paul Andrew blush and rose-gold sandals.

While Elizabeth is my girl and all, but I have never been too enamoured with this dress, mostly because bacofoil immediately sprang to mind.

The styling, however, manages to sell it to me. All the elements work well together, including the coral lip.

Does Elizabeth sell this look to you?

Elizabeth Banks In Elie Saab Couture – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ London Premiere

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" - World Premiere - Red Carpet Arrivals

Elizabeth Banks attended ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ premiere held at Odeon Leicester Square this evening (November 10).

My expectations were high, but even I wasn’t fully prepared for the extent to which I was swept away by this breathtaking Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture gown.

Enchanting her way down the red carpet, Elizabeth’s floral-print frock with a stormy-print skirt which is delicately accented with embellishments is a truly magical gown.

It’s a long way to go on this tour, but I already feel this will be my favourite.

‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ London Photocall

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" - Photocall

Julianne Moore, Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Banks and Natalie Dormer attended the photocall for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ held at the Corinthia Hotel London on Sunday (November 9) in London, England ahead of Monday’s world premiere.

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for, but sadly Jena Malone wasn’t in attendance as she was at the EMAs.

Julianne Moore: The actress more than held her own in this quartet wearing a Dries van Noten dress which champions the brand’s retro-modern aesthetic with contrast prints and a relaxed-fit design. Sadly, all the good work is undone with those grey Aquazzura black suede Sexy Thing booties.

Jennifer Lawrence: While tomorrow will most definitely be a Dior night, Jennifer wore her second non-Dior look in a row, donning a white suit from much-buzzed-about new brand Public School. Styled with a black cami top and silver pumps, this is another good look for Jennifer.

Elizabeth Banks: Withdrawing from her Alexander McQueen account early, the actress wore a bold fuchsia frock rendered with a striking contrasting animal and ikat print in a very short design. I usually want to high-five her footwear choices, but I’m not a fan of the Jimmy Choo ‘Vanish’ ankle boots, although I do love the colour.

Natalie Dormer: The British actress usually gives me plenty to shout about, but on this occasion I feel like she hit the mute button. While there is nothing wrong with this Michael Van Der Ham Spring 2015 look, she’s usually oozing with a lot more colour and character.

Elizabeth Banks In Alexander McQueen – 2014 Breeders’ Cup World Championship

Elizabeth Banks In Alexander McQueen Resort 2015 - 2014 Breeders' Cup World Championship

Before ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1′ world premiere in London next Monday, Elizabeth Banks attended the 2014 Breeders’ Cup World Championships held at Santa Anita Park on Saturday (November 1) in Arcadia, California.

She wore her favourite designer, Alexander McQueen, selecting a look from the Resort 2015 collection.

As you know, I have loved Elizabeth Banks since time began, but I am terribly disappointed by the styling of this black and white printed frock with blue embroidery.

Firstly, I wish she’d taken a cue from the look book, opting for lapis-blue accessories, and a belt would’ve helped elevate the look, but honestly I think the biggest culprits here are the heavy suede pumps – oh, and the hat.

No and no.

Elizabeth Banks In Thakoon – Irene Neuwirth Flagship Grand Opening

Elizabeth Banks In Thakoon - Irene Neuwirth Flagship Grand Opening

Elizabeth Banks attended the grand store opening of jewelry designer Irene Neuwirth on Thursday (October 30) in West Hollywood, California.

Here we have a double dose of print, with Irene decked out in Peter Pilotto and Elizabeth more than holding her own in Thakoon.

These are two print-loving ladies after my own heart.

Irene opted for nude pumps so as not to upstage her look, whereas Elizabeth enhanced the geometric print on her Spring 2015 mini frock with a Christopher Kane black clutch with a neon-yellow strap and white buckle and Nicholas Kirkwood to-die-for heels.

A great way to gear up ahead of the week of ‘The Hunger Games’ promo events we have ahead of us.

Elizabeth Banks In Michael Kors – Elle’s 21st Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

Elizabeth Banks In Michael Kors - Elle’s 21st Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

Elizabeth Banks attended Elle’s 21st annual Women In Hollywood celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on Monday (October 20) in Beverly Hills, California as one of the honourees.

The actress will always have a place on any best-dressed list and this Michael Kors Spring 2015 frock is another classic example of why that is the case.

Bursting with colour and vitality with its botanical appliqués, Elizabeth styled her frock with a navy satin Amanda Pearl clutch, navy Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and Vita Fede jewels.

I love how this look is fresh, fun and oozing with charm.
