Elizabeth Banks In Elie Saab Couture – 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

There were plenty of warm, fuzzy feelings to be had upon seeing Elizabeth Banks on the red carpet for the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (February 26).

Much like those feelings you have after seeing an old friend after an extended period.

My favourite girl hasn’t lost any of her charm, elegance or grace.

I was excited to see that the union with Elie Saab is still going strong – as most of her magic moments have come from the Lebanese designer.

Elie Saab’s Fall 2016 Couture collection was one of his finest to date, as he showcased his impeccable approach to craftsmanship and returned to his out-of-the-box design which is presented within this masterpiece.

Now, I know I’ll be deemed totally biased by saying that this was one of the best looks of the night, so what do you think?

Elizabeth Banks In Elie Saab - 'Star Wars The Force Awakens' LA Premiere

Elizabeth Banks attended the premiere of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ on Monday (December 14) in Hollywood, California.

It may not have been her premiere, but she was still one of the main attractions oozing quiet, romantic elegance wearing an Elie Saab Resort 2016 tri-colour embroidered gown.

While the gown is stunning, I love how the shoulder-baring neckline draws attention to her face; highlighting her flawless makeup.

I already know some will accuse Elizabeth of over-dressing, as it not her premiere blah blah, but this was a WORLD premiere, and my girl never needs an excuse to dress up – reason #101 why I love her.

Elizabeth Banks made a guest appearance on the Ellen Degeneres Show on Tuesday (November 24) in Los Angeles, where she continued to promote her hit movie, ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’.

The actress wore a Spring 2016 dress by master print-mixer Mary Katrantzou, who created this sprightly floral print piece topped off with a pointy collar.

I love how this girlish style balances vintage inspiration with a fresh take on the shirtdress silhouette.

Some might think the yellow embellished Sophia Webster pumps were a step too far considering her bold print dress, but adore how fanciful they are; adding yet more charm to the look.

VH1 Big In 2015

VH1 Big In 2015

Elizabeth Banks, Amy Schumer, and Taraji P. Henson attended the VH1 Big in 2015 with Entertainment Weekly Awards at the Pacific Design Center on Sunday (November 15) in West Hollywood, California.

Elizabeth Banks: The ‘Hunger Games’ actress was naturally on point in a Giulietta Spring 2016 black frock that balanced the playful appeal of big, glossy cabochons with still-sophisticated cutouts and chic elegance. Black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a complementary Lee Savage clutch fit right in.

Amy Schumer: While I have nothing against her sleek red A.L.C. dress, I do think it could have been made far more interesting with a sleek updo and a more inspired Sophia Webster shoe choice. The red pumps simply had me yawning.

Taraji P. Henson: Continuing in the manner of her sexy style moves, the ‘Empire’ star wore an Alexander Wang Spring 2016 black dress with lace-up detailing for added allure. Her studded shoes completed the look with an edgy yet appropriate finish.

Elizabeth Banks attended the premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ on Monday (November 16) in Los Angeles, California.

I’ll admit I was slightly disappointed for about a nano-second when I saw Elizabeth in this Dolce & Gabbana gown, as I was hoping for a big blown out gown to close what has been an epic journey for the actress.

But in reality, who can be mad at a dazzling dress?

Not I, because I love how this classic silhouette is cast in colourful striped sequins plus sheer lace insets for an added dose of modern glamour.

She will always be my red carpet queen.
