Elizabeth Banks In Leonard – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ LA Premiere

Elizabeth Banks In Leonard - 'The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 1' LA Premiere

Elizabeth Banks attended the premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Monday (November 17) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a dramatic Leonard Fall 2014 strapless paisley-print gown cut in a modern silhouette, which was a considerably unique design worthy of a big premiere.

Her red Rauwolf clutch perfectly complements the look, but I just can’t get on board with the gold Roger Vivier winklepickers with the thick ankle strap.

Frankly, they almost ruin this look for me. The dress was dramatic enough; it perhaps didn’t need such a focus-stealing, heavy shoe.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Elizabeth Banks In Elie Saab Couture, Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark In Jesper Høvring & Jason Sudeikis

BDOTW readers

Elizabeth Banks was your best dressed this week sweeping the red carpet with her breathtaking Elie Saab Couture gown, which also gave me chills; however, I selected Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark in her dazzling Jesper Høvring gown for looking every inch a princess.

When it came to the fellas, we were in total agreement: Jason Sudeikis. His sharp windowpane suit with contrasting shirt and tie was the most unique, interesting and well-styled suit to hit the red carpet last week.

This win is made all the more epic considering David Gandy was on the poll, as he is very much used to winning every poll he is entered into.

Elizabeth Banks In Saint Laurent – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ Berlin Press Event

Elizabeth Banks In Saint Laurent - 'The Hunger Games Mockingjay – Part 1′ Berlin Press Event

Elizabeth Banks was flying solo on the red carpet for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ preview event held at Kraftwerk Mitte on Tuesday (November 11) in Berlin, Germany.

Putting her best foot forward, as always, the fashion star of this promo tour was on fire once again wearing a Saint Laurent cowl-neck open-back red gown with a side slit which may not have the magic of her first look, but still packs a mighty punch with minimal effort.

Our golden girl styled her look with gold accessories including a Lee Savage ‘Infinite Space’ clutch, Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and Jennifer Fisher earrings, with a sweeping updo and red lippie rounding out this stunning look.

Those who thought she overdressed for the world premiere will no doubt prefer this look. Me? I love them equally. Both fit for each occasion.

Elizabeth Banks In Andrew Gn – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ Press Conference

Elizabeth Banks In Andrew Gn - 'The Hunger Games Mockingjay – Part 1' Press Conference

Prior to the world premiere, Elizabeth Banks attended a press conference for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ on Monday (November 10) held at the Corinthia Hotel in London.

The actress couldn’t have looked more divine, wearing a fanciful beaded dress in contrasting hues from Andrew Gn’s Spring 2015 collection, which is the designer’s most colourful collection yet.

I’m not surprised by this selection as Elizabeth has never been afraid of colour. In fact, “the more the better” appears to be her M.O.

My belief is that she paired this with a divine pair of red pumps, but I would honestly also take a pair of black patent-leather Louboutins.

Elizabeth Banks In Monique Lhuillier – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ After-Party

Elizabeth Banks In Monique Lhuillier - ‘The Hunger Games Mockingjay – Part 1′ After-Party

Elizabeth Banks attended an after-party following her epic BDOTY showing on the red carpet for the world premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ held at Victoria House on Monday (November 10) in London, England.

Toning things down by just one degree, Elizabeth swapped movie star glamour for high-octane shine, donning a Monique Lhuillier Spring 2015 coral lamé strapless draped tea-length dress with a full skirt styled with a metallic-rose-gold belt, a Lee Savage ‘Broken Space’ clutch, a Jennifer Fisher reverse choker, and Paul Andrew blush and rose-gold sandals.

While Elizabeth is my girl and all, but I have never been too enamoured with this dress, mostly because bacofoil immediately sprang to mind.

The styling, however, manages to sell it to me. All the elements work well together, including the coral lip.

Does Elizabeth sell this look to you?

Elizabeth Banks In Elie Saab Couture – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ London Premiere

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" - World Premiere - Red Carpet Arrivals

Elizabeth Banks attended ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ premiere held at Odeon Leicester Square this evening (November 10).

My expectations were high, but even I wasn’t fully prepared for the extent to which I was swept away by this breathtaking Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture gown.

Enchanting her way down the red carpet, Elizabeth’s floral-print frock with a stormy-print skirt which is delicately accented with embellishments is a truly magical gown.

It’s a long way to go on this tour, but I already feel this will be my favourite.
