Elizabeth Banks In Roland Mouret & Monique Lhuillier – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon & ‘Graduate’ Launch Event

Elizabeth Banks In Roland Mouret & Monique Lhuillier - The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon & 'Graduate' Launch Event

It was a busy day for Elizabeth Banks in New York City on Tuesday (March 24) where she made a guest appearance ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, before attending the ‘Graduate’ at the American Greetings launch event

‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon': Elizabeth is usually a cut above the rest, and that was once again the case in her Roland Mouret dress, which makes the perfect style statement. However, it’s those striped Sophia Webster sandals which made me swoon.

‘Graduate’ at the American Greetings launch event: Elizabeth’s second look of the evening was focused on shades of blue, with her Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2015 floral embroidered frock the focus. I’m never usually a fan of shoes with such chunky cuffs, but I will take these complementary heels over what’s become the standard black, white or nude any day.

Elizabeth Banks In Elie Saab Couture – ‘Love & Mercy’ Berlin Film Festival Premiere

'Love & Mercy' Photocall - 65th Berlinale International Film Festival

Elizabeth Banks attended the ‘Love & Mercy’ photocall and premiere during the 65th Berlinale International Film Festival held at Friedrichstadt-Palast on Sunday (February 8) in Berlin, Germany.

Proving to be quite a worthy ambassador for the Elie Saab brand, the actress did what she does best—blow me away.

Her crimson ombre, voluminous tulle, and lace Fall 2014 couture gown featured a bodice fully embroidered with pearls and sequins. This will definitely find pride of place in her red carpet Hall of Fame.

I actually prefer this gown to her ‘Hunger Games’ London premiere gown. Perhaps because of its quintessential “King of Bling” feel or the way she is working the hell out of the look.

Ruby lips and matching Rauwolf clutch rounded out her look.

It will be hard for anyone, including Elizabeth herself, to top this one. But I hope many will rise to the challenge.

Who Wore Alexander McQueen Better…Elizabeth Banks or Brie Larson?

Who Wore Alexander McQueen Better Elizabeth Banks or Brie Larson

Elizabeth Banks wore an Alexander McQueen mixed houndstooth-print design with a flared skirt featuring bright contrast flowers that bloom at the hem to the 2014 Breeders’ Cup World Championships back in November, styled with a black wide-brim hat and ankle boots.

Last month Brie Larson gave this dress a second spin for a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’.

The look was enlivened with complementary blue Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Rosing’ pumps, a Khirma New York ‘Oxy’ bag and a chic Adeam black coat slung over her shoulders.

As you know I am a huge fan of Elizabeth, but I was shocked by the uninspiring styling on this occasion.

Not by default, Brie wins by a long mile.

Promo Tour Star 2014 – Elizabeth Banks for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1′

Promo Tour Star 2014 – Elizabeth Banks for 'The Hunger Games Mockingjay, Part 1'

Elizabeth Banks was once again our Promo Tour Star for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1’ following her 2013 Promo Tour Star win for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.’

With the film’s main star Jennifer Lawrence yo-yoing back and forth between stunning and less successful ensembles, Elizabeth yet again proved herself the leading actress on the red carpet with her breathtaking entrances.

A promo tour’s nothing without a good dose of drama in the form of striking, statement dresses, and Elizabeth’s gowns spoke volumes, none more so than the Elie Saab Couture confection that captivated us at the London world premiere. It was total enchantment.

The red-hot sizzle of her Saint Laurent side-slit gown at a Berlin press event was another unforgettable ‘Mockingjay’ moment, where she demonstrated just how powerful a more minimal look can be.

Elizabeth Banks In Mary Katrantzou – March Of Dimes Celebration Of Babies: A Hollywood Luncheon

Elizabeth Banks In Mary Katrantzou - March Of Dimes Celebration Of Babies A Hollywood Luncheon

Elizabeth Banks attended the March Of Dimes Celebration Of Babies at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Friday (December 5) in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress wore a Mary Katrantzou Resort 2015 printed dress styled with Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Mirage’ sandals and a striped Edie Parker clutch.

I love how spritely the look is, just the tonic to banish the winter blues, and it oozes girlish flare without being twee.

I also love how, when she does wear black pumps, she doesn’t go for the simple plain option.
