Elizabeth Banks In Ralph & Russo Couture – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Elizabeth Banks shimmered and sashayed her way onto the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party scene on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

This Ralph & Russo Spring 2018 Couture fringed frock was ready to party, and I loved it for that reason.

However, her updo didn’t match the sassy, shiny fun of the dress.

In fact, I found it be a bit mature for both her and the look—even if it did reflect a certain old-Hollywood, vintage sensibility.

Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ silver sandals were a seamless way to complete the ensemble.

Elizabeth Banks In Elie Saab – 4th Hollywood Beauty Awards

Elizabeth Banks joined Kerry Washington and Danai Gurira for the 4th Hollywood Beauty Awards on Sunday (February 25) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress and Elie Saab has been quite a fruitful union, so I’m delighted that has continued into 2018. I still get goosebumps when I think of her red embellished Couture gown during Berlin Film Festival which was three years ago, can you believe it?

I love how the sharp V-neckline and gathering at the waist lends it a subtle sultry twist along with the lace panels on her multi-coloured printed gown.

A look like this needs little else, so Elizabeth just added YAEL SONIA earrings.

Front Row @ Tom Ford Fall 2018

The front row at the Tom Ford Fall 2018 runway show on Thursday (February 8) in New York City was a star-studded affair with celebrities bringing out their most glamorous looks.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: The English model demonstrated the designer’s mastery of tailoring and glamour in a Spring 2018 dress and jacket. The sharp-shouldered topper against the soft ruching on the maxi had a powerful, sensual mix, and she carried it off splendidly.

Zayn Malik: The ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ singer looked cool in jeans and a suede jacket. He might be projecting an insouciant air, but the ensemble has clearly been well thought out with the layered neckline and the coordinating shades of green. The sunglasses added some swagger against the preppy elements.

Julianne Moore: A long-time supporter of the designer, the actress cut a sharp figure in a monochromatic look. I was enamoured with her riff on suiting, breaking away from convention with the oversized blazer and leather track pants. The strappy sandals and clutch enlivened the mix.

Elizabeth Banks In Nasty Gal – ‘Black Panther’ World Premiere

With a new, significantly shorter ’do, Elizabeth Banks was another actress who joined the long list of stars at the ‘Black Panther’ world premiere on Monday (January 29) in Hollywood, California.

However, given her ensemble, I almost wondered if she had dressed for a different occasion.

If you thought Laura Harrier was dressed down at the premiere, Elizabeth’s look brought a whole new level of casual to the red carpet.

In a sea of decorative gowns and other statement pieces, this Nasty Gal checquered shirt-dress hybrid didn’t quite check the box.

If the shirt had been paired with black trousers rather than denim jeans, I might have been closer to getting on board.

She admitted on Instagram that she was just a “fan” seeing the movie. Even still, I think I was just wishing for more from the actress who is no stranger to glam entrances.

Elizabeth Banks In Jeffrey Dodd – ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ LA Premiere

My favourite girl, Elizabeth Banks, joined her co-stars Anna Camp, Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Hailee Steinfeld on the red carpet for the ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ on Tuesday (December 12) in Hollywood, California.

Seductive and feminine, Elizabeth shimmed down the red carpet wearing a custom Jeffrey Dodd dress which put her firmly in the spotlight.

I love how the slender straps and a daring slit ensure an alluring look, which is balanced by the overall length.

Opting to go full matchy matchy – like she did for the ‘Love & Mercy’ LA premiere – Elizabeth completed her look with red sandals and a satin clutch.

Elizabeth Banks In David Koma – The Voice

Elizabeth Banks made a guest appearance on the ‘Live Top 12’ Episode of ‘The Voice’ Season 13 on Tuesday (November 21) in LA.

It seems some of you haven’t been too enamoured by Elizabeth’s style the last few outings, but I’m sure this David Koma Spring 2018 LBD will win you back around.

I love how this David Koma piece infuses this after-dark mini dress with a rebellious spirit.

The rows of mirrored embellishment was perfectly co-ordinated with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and selection of diamond jewels.

Back on track or undecided?

For me she will always be my number one girl for that Elie Saab showstopper.

Elizabeth Banks In Emanuel Ungaro – Museum of Modern Art Film Benefit: A Tribute to Julianne Moore

Elizabeth Banks was in attendance at the Museum of Modern Art Film Benefit: A Tribute to Julianne Moore on Monday (November 13) in New York City.

The actress donned an Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2018 outfit which had an interesting mix of volume and shapes. The wide-leg pants and the full off-the-shoulder sleeves of the top were almost cloud-like with their softness. The gentle draping was contrasted with the sharp corners of the rectangular bodice.

I was enamored with the way the volume of the separates was juxtaposed with the black choker. Elizabeth wore a similar version to the runway’s but brought the bow around to the back as to not compete with the top’s neckline.

Did the look win you over?
