Drew Barrymore In Jil Sander – Covergirl Cosmetic’s 50th Anniversary Party

As the face of CoverGirl, Drew Barrymore was on hand to help celebrate their 50th Anniversary at party held in West Hollywood.

I pray that she become the face of L’Oreal to force her to dye those roots.

As much as I love the Jil Sander Sprig 2011 collection, I didn’t love this look on Drew.

I really tried to force myself to like it, but my head had a word with my head and said, “No.”

I assumed that this was one of the easier pieces to pull off, but – may the fashion gods forgive me – she looks like she got caught up in a sleeping bag unable to unzip it so she hobbled down the red carpet.

This look doesn’t flatter her at all.

I prefer the elasticated detail higher up like on the model as it sits at an awkward height on Drew.

In short, me no likey.

Sidewalk Style – Drew Barrymore In Current/Elliott

I initially downloaded this picture to do a post on Drew Barrymore wearing a Chloé Spring 2010 denim shirt, but on closer inspection the shirt wasn’t by Chloé.

Drew was spotted out and about in NoHo, New York earlier today sporting this off-duty look which actually includes a Current/Elliott two-tone blue denim shirt which they call ‘The Perfect Shirt’.

With the sleeves rolled up she wore her shirt with a full-length white gypsy skirt under a brown belt which she paired with a colourful embroidered bag, Samantha Willis ring and raybans for her downtown urban/gypsy look.

I surprisingly like the shirt, but I do not love the skirt with the shirt.

How do you feel about Drew’s off-duty look?

Late Night with David Letterman – Drew Barrymore In Richard Chai & Camilla and Marc

The first thing that came to mind when I saw Drew Barrymore outside the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York for her appearance on “Late Night with David Letterman” was “girlfriend love those Trib Two’s”.

Drew has worn a nude pair for 2 promo appearances and grey pair for her last 2 red carpet appearances.

She also wore those same Malandrino hoop earrings to the LA premiere too.

Shoe grumbling aside this is another home run for Drew – in fact this is my favourite look from her this week.

Drew wore a sparkling Richard Chai sequined long sleeved top, paired with navy Camilla and Marc pants which had a satin trim running down the side.

Is this your favourite look from Drew this week, or did you prefer another look?

Who Wore Malandrino Better? Catherine Malandrino, Mary J Blige or Drew Barrymore

As I said earlier, Drew Barrymore’s Malandrino Resort 2010 gold brocade dress has been worn twice before.

Firstly by the designer herself Catherine Malandrino, and secondly by her BFF Mary J Blige.

Catherine wore her dress back in June when she attended the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards.

She paired her dress matching embellished ankle strap sandals and a clutch covered in silver paillette’s.

Mary hosted an ‘Evening at Cipriani’ in New York when she wore her Malandrino gown just 10 days after her friend.

The R&B singer paired her dress with YSL Tribute sandals, a silver clutch and diamond bracelet.

It’s unusual to see a celeb like Drew Barrymore wear a well worn gown, but she did at her “Going The Distance” LA Premiere last night.

As much as I didn’t like Drew’s Trib Two choice, I loved how her Balmain belt gave this dress a whole new look.

I’m not a fan of mixing metals and since Catherine and Mary both carried silver clutch with this gold dress, Drew wins for me.

“Going The Distance” LA Premiere – Drew Barrymore In Malandrino

Malandrino has been getting a lot of red carpet action lately.

America Ferrera has worn Catherine Malandrino’s designs back to back. Dania Ramirez wore a gorgeous Catherine Malandrino gown on the weekend, now we have Drew Barrymore.

The actress who would’ve just flown in from London attended the LA Premiere of her new movie, “Going The Distance” last night.

Her gold brocade strapless Malandrino Resort 2010 gown is gorgeous – she’s positively glowing.

The actress paired her dress with the same Balmain belt and YSL Trib Two’s which she wore to the London Premiere.

I love this look some much I won’t even mention the ombre hair, but I will complain about those Trib Two’s again.

They seem so heavy for this look.

Some Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals would’ve been perfect.

It’s been reported that Drew has a new stylist for this promo tour.

Unfortunately he/she didn’t do their homework because this gown has been worn twice before.

A Samantha Willis ‘Bowery’ ring and a ‘Jasper’ bracelet completed her golden girl look.
