The DAILY FRONT ROW ‘Fashion Los Angeles Awards’ Red Carpet Roundup

The DAILY FRONT ROW Fashion Los Angeles Awards

Here is a quick roundup from The DAILY FRONT ROW ‘Fashion Los Angeles Awards’ Show held at Sunset Tower on Thursday (January 22) in West Hollywood, California.

Kerry Washington: The ‘Scandal’ star wore a black, white and grey look that was distinctly lacking in flavour. Let’s pray this lull doesn’t continue much longer as her usual three-pointers are turning into air balls.

Gigi Hadid: Presented with the Model of the Year award, the blonde beauty kept her look simple wearing a watermelon-hued one-shoulder Calvin Klein fitted dress, which hugged in all the right places.

Minka Kelly: The actress, who usually works minimalist looks in simple silhouettes, donned a Herve Leger multicoloured textural flared frock with studded details. Sadly, for me this doesn’t work. It’s not really suited to her style and it’s giving her quarterback shoulders.

Drew Barrymore In Tadashi Shoji – ‘Blended’ LA Premiere

Drew Barrymore In Tadashi Shoji - 'Blended' LA Premiere

Following her quick trip to Berlin, Germany to promote her latest movie, ‘Blended’, Drew Barrymore attended the LA premiere held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday (May 21) in Hollywood, California.

The actress, who recently gave birth to her second child, wore a Tadashi Shoji Spring 2014 blush lattice and floral-embroidered tulle appliqué capelet-sleeved gown styled with wavy tresses, a dark-pink lip and silver jewels.

While the hint of bridal is trying to turn me off this look, I love the colour and I’m captivated by the romantic aura of this enchanting piece.

Drew Barrymore In Sass & Bide – ‘Blended’ Berlin Premiere

Drew Barrymore In Sass & Bide - 'Blended' Berlin Premiere

Less than a month after giving birth to her second child, Drew Barrymore returned to the red carpet for the Berlin premiere of her new film, ‘Blended,’ held on Monday (May 19) at CineStar in Germany.

The actress worked a relaxed statement with her loose, black tunic dress from the Sass & Bide Pre-Fall 2014 collection.

Instead of donning the wrapped design over pants, as seen in the lookbook, she wore it over a white skirt for a layered effect.

A bevy of bangles, stacked rings and strands of necklaces, along with slightly wild, crimped locks, created a bohemian vibe that’s common to Drew’s style.

But those nude platform shoes just weren’t working on any level.

Drew Barrymore picked up the Female Star of the Year award during the CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Thursday (March 27) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Changing from one chic maternity look to another, she wore a Marc Jacobs Spring 2014 T-shirt gown.

Sequinned and embroidered appliqués snake over the waist and hips for a flattering finish, adding drama to the mirrored print.

Bordered by contrast sleeves and an elegant ruched back, Drew proves that maternity dressing can both be pretty and have plenty of attitude.
