Models @ The 2015 Met Gala

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala - Arrivals

The models also had their moment at the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4), some strutting to the beat of the theme better than others.

Karen Elson: One of the most extravagantly attired models, Karen truly embraced the ‘costume’ in the Costume Institute Benefit Gala in her Dolce & Gabbana ballgown spectacle featuring an ornately embellished and gilded bodice with matching cuffs, and an explosion of red tulle. Her elaborate gold headpiece also gave Sarah Jessica Parker’s own topper a bit of crown competition. This was the Chinese princess moment of the night.

Dree Hemingway In Chloé – ‘While We’re Young’ New York Premiere

Dree Hemingway In Chloé PF15 - ‘While We’re Young’ New York Premiere

Dree Hemingway attended the ‘While We’re Young’ New York premiere at The Paris Theatre on Monday (March 23) in New York City alongside Amanda Seyfried.

The model/actress, as always, looked uber chic, wearing a Chloe Pre-Fall 2015 look which solidified her cool-girl status.

This could’ve looked quite costumey due to the nautical influence imbued by the button front trousers, but they actually serve to elongate her silhouette dramatically, with a high waist and long, wide leg construction.

Bringing a new level of panache to the red carpet, I love the nonchalant undone ribbon and contrasting Chloe clutch.

In short, I want every piece of this look, although I do find myself wondering if the hair tucked into her shirt was deliberate. If so, eh?

Models @ The 2015 Oscar Parties

Models @ The 2015 Oscars Parties

As always, there were plenty of models on hand to provide the glamour at the Oscar parties on Sunday (February 22).

Alessandra Ambrosio: I was surprised the model didn’t jump on the sheer train; instead she selected a glamorous red gown from the Atelier Versace Spring 2015 collection. This brand of sexiest from Alessandra I can totally get on board with.

Poppy Delevingne: The British model wears a lot of Pucci frocks, having a close relationship with the designer Peter Dundas, so I was surprised no one informed her that Natasha Poly had already worn this frock. Poppy made a great impact styling the look with a choker and deep plum lip.

2014 CFDA Fashion Awards Models Roundup

Amid the crush of starlets and designers at the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 2), the models definitely had their moment, too. They strutted out a range of dazzling, directional and sometimes daring looks at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City.

Joan Smalls: Putting her statuesque height to good use, Joan worked her midnight-navy Prabal Gurung draped, cutout gown to sexy effect also flaunting an Angelina leg through the thigh-high slit. She styled the look with metallic ankle-tie sandals and a mod fringe bang, but the gold choker necklace was unnecessary here.

Alessandra Ambrosio
: The Victoria’s Secret cat-walker took a red-hot approach in a Nonoo strapless gown featuring a structured bodice with a crossover ribbon tie at the back. She accessorized with Jennifer Fisher jewels, including a sharp, diamond-pointed pair of earrings.
