Who Wore Three Floor Better? Eleanor Tomlinson or Donna Air?

Us Brits have been enjoying the warmest June in over 40 years, so it’s no wonder that both Eleanor Tomlinson and Donna Air opted to wear this light-weight, breezy Three Floor lace dress – on the same dress.

Eleanor styled hers with the obligatory hat while attending Ascot, while Donna took a less formal approach for the V&A Summer party.
This obviously comes down to the accessories, and Donna is the clear winner for me.

Eleanor could’ve snagged the win had it not been for her clutch which not only doesn’t compliment her look, but also looks like she’s carrying a stone.

V&A Summer Party

A whole host of stars attended the V&A summer party on Wednesday (June 21) in London,

Princess Beatrice of York: Deciding to go darker than most in attendance, Princess Beatrice opted for a Self-Portrait ruffled guipure lace midi dress. The tiered sheer dress may have been the perfect antidote to the heat but her Jimmy Choo pumps really weighed down the look.

Sai Bennett: This Temperley London Fall 2017 dress was utterly appropriate for the event, I especially love the front slit and gorgeous floral print which feels particularly summery. Some simple gold accessories and brown wedges tied this look together perfectly.

Donna Air: This lightweight Three Floor tiered lace dress looked incredibly feminine and pretty. The high-neck ruffles worked well with Donna’s swept back hair and round frame sunglasses. The silhouette is also incredibly flattering, with just the right amount of breathable cut-outs.

Pippa Middleton and James Matthews Wedding

The Cannes Film Festival may be in full swing, but the other major event of the weekend was the wedding of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews on Saturday (May 20) at St. Mark’s Church in England.

I was awestruck by the classic beauty of Pippa’s bespoke Giles Deacon lace gown that featured a heart-shaped cutout at the back. It was enduringly romantic, sophisticatedly feminine and forever timeless—everything you’d hope a wedding dress could be.

Her fine tulle veil, with its dégradé of embroidered pearls, was made by renowned milliner Stephen Jones, and it brought a delicate, whisper-light addition to the gown.

A Maidenhair Fern tiara and matching headpiece by Robinson Pelham, along with custom-made Robinson Pelham earrings and custom Manolo Blahnik ‘Seneca’ pumps completed the graceful, fairytale look.

Of course, we cannot forget the bride’s bouquet which included astilbe, sweet pea, peony, freesia and waxflower, as the lushly simple array of white blooms couldn’t have been more suiting.

Laura Bailey x L.K. Bennett Capsule Collection

Laura Bailey x LK Bennett Collection

L.K. Bennett hosted a party at their Knightsbridge store in London on Tuesday March (25) to celebrate the L.K.Bennett London by Laura Bailey collection.

The model turned designer Laura Bailey created a capsule of five shoe designs and clutch bags with a retro modern vibe, which pretty much sums up her style.

Laura’s inspiration for this collection includes summers spent travelling to Amalfi. The colour palette is taken directly from the beach, with ocean blue and sandy yellow in bold zig-zags and stripes alongside nautical tones of navy and red, punctuated with linen white.

Laura attended the event last night working a colour block look, which included a Shrimps clutch and her very own Laura Bailey x L.K. Bennett ‘Claudia’ sandals.

It looks like her friend Donna Air had the same idea, as she wore the same heels, matching her look with the Laura Bailey x L.K. Bennett ‘Bella’ clutch.

Burberry Prorsum Spring 2015 Front Row

Burberry Womenswear SS15 - Arrivals

A crush of beauties, and a handsome boy, were out in force for the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2015 fashion presentation on Monday (September 15) during London Fashion Week in London, England. This front row set was, of course, outfitted in all measures of the powerhouse British label for the big show.

Cara Delevingne: The model was front and centre—on the FROW instead of the runway—where she strutted out a sexy two-piece navy suit with multicoloured Burberry Prorsum sneakers and a contrasting plum Burberry Prorsum ‘Bee’ monogrammed bag, both fresh from the Spring 2015 collection. The unexpected mix of the skin-baring, bra-less plunge, worn with strands of necklaces, and the sporty appeal of the trainers delivers on Cara’s rebel edge. I can’t say that a part of me didn’t want to see the suit with a pair of heels, though. The matching red lip and red pocket square were amazing.

Kate Moss: Arm in arm with Cara, Kate belted on a sleek black trench over cropped black skinny pants, punctuating the look with teal-green heels, the Burberry Prorsum ‘Bloomsbury’ bag and cat-eye shades. This dynamic duo appear together in the current My Burberry fragrance campaign—talk about a perfect model match.

Donna Air In Burberry Prorsum – The Serpentine Gallery Summer Party

Donna Air In Burberry Prorsum - The Serpentine Gallery Summer Party

Donna Air attended the annual Serpentine Gallery Summer Party held at The Serpentine Gallery on Tuesday (July 1) in London, England.

The British TV presenter is known for her love of British labels; here she wore a Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 dress.

While for some the chiffon long-sleeved wrap dress might be a tad moody for a summer party, the look is given a kick with her yellow and pink Mary Janes and a bright red clutch.

I would rock this from head to toe in a heartbeat, mostly because of the shoes.
