Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Back in October last year, Dita von Teese launched her dress collection exclusively through Australian retailer David Jones.

Last night she celebrated the launch of her collection at the chic vintage boutique Decades in LA.

She wore a blue gown with a rose-print gown with red straps.

Along with her red-hot lips, the burlesque queen carried a red Christian Louboutin ‘Eden’ satin clutch which has ruffled rosettes on the top and a red leather tassel on the bottom.

Does this look feel familiar? That’s because Dita wore the pink, shorter version of this dress to the Australia launch.

Before serenading the crowd with a seductive burlesque performance, Dita Von Teese helped launch ‘La Maison Cointreau’ in New York City on Monday evening.

Dita opted to wear a maroon vintage dress with a bow accent at the waist and pleats falling from the hips.

A diamond-encrusted brooch with maroon stones and maroon Christian Louboutin peep-toes accessorized the look.

Keeping her signature red pout and retro waves, the Burlesque star looks sensational.

Attempting to give Miranda Kerr a run for her money, Dita von Teese has been showcasing her sartorial style on the streets of LA.

Earlier this month she was spotted leaving a beauty salon wearing a blue silk button-front maxi dress with Givenchy cat-eye sunglasses and a Dolce & Gabbana wicker bag from the Spring 2012 collection.

It’s not often we see Dita with such a loose-fitted dress, but she always gives us that signature bold red lip.

On Monday she was spotted leaving Mauro’s Italian Cafe with a friend, dressed in a summery printed top with bow accents paired with an off-white circle skirt.

Her accessories included rose-tinted shades, Louis Vuitton Mary Janes, a sweet charm bracelet and what appears to be the bag of the moment: the Dolce & Gabbana wicker bag.

Dita’s Dolce & Gabbana bag got a third run out yesterday while the burlesque star was shopping in Hollywood, California, dressed in a gorgeous raspberry-print strapless vintage frock with purple bow accents and a pleated front detail.

Yet another pair of cat-eye sunnies and her charm bracelet accessorized her look, with cream criss-cross Louboutins providing the finishing touch.

The third look is divine. Classic Dita.

Bianca Balti, who creatively layered a Fendi two-tone dress with a Fendi printed skirt, won your votes for best dressed this week.

The Italian supermodel’s look was chic, colourful and reminded us that it is summer.

Once Dita von Teese donned her stunning Jenny Packham gown to host the Cointreau event, there was only one winner for me.

I love how she pulled off this gorgeous look with her personal retro stamp.

Dita von Teese continued to sparkle in her role as ambassador for Cointreau by hosting a poolside soiree at the Beverly Hill Hotel in California yesterday.

The princess of darkness embraced the gloriously beautiful weather by donning a Jenny Packham Spring 2012 gown.

The long lace gown with cascading colourful beaded flowers may be considered a tad OTT for a pool party, but this is the always impeccably dressed Dita we are talking about here.

With palm trees in the backdrop and a glass of Cointreau in her hand, Dita completed her look with her signature retro styling.
