2017 Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner

There was a sea of Chanel ensembles to be seen and admired from the guests at the Chanel Artists Dinner, hosted on Monday (April 24) during the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

Katie Holmes: Despite this being a sheer Chanel look, it manifested a casual, feminine charm. But I think it was Katie’s new, wavy bob along with metallic accessories that worked wonders to keep the look on fresh ground.

Dianna Agron: Classic Chanel tweed was turned on its head in this Spring 2017 ensemble that came alive with a holographic array of hues. The cropped top attempted to counterbalance the looser proportions of the jacket and skirt. I just wish her shoes had been as bold as her fuchsia eyeliner.

Dree Hemingway: Reflecting Dree’s free-spirited style, this Chanel look likewise paid homage to the spirited Gabrielle Coco Chanel herself. Sure, it was a quirky combination with the embellished sweater, girly pink skirt and granny-chic shoes. But, Dree has the presence to pull it off; I just wish she had done something more with her hair and makeup.

Miu Miu Fall 2017 Front Row

The Miu Miu Fall 2017 show at Paris Fashion Week was presented on Tuesday (March 7), and it wasn’t without a group of PYTs all showing their support of designer Miuccia Prada with their girly Miu Miu looks.

Zoey Deutch: The quirk and charm of the label was well presented in this citron fur-cuffed coat accessorised with an equally furry sky-blue handbag and embellished heels. It had lighthearted sass and sophistication all wrapped into one.

Aja Naomi King: With a more classically ladylike approach, Aja wore a twist on tweed in her patterned overcoat paired with a simple blouse and skirt in shades of pink.

Jenna Coleman: I love the enlivening blue hue of this coat, which is like a breath of fresh air, with a touch of retro femininity in the floral-accented frock. The platform shoes were, of course, the mandatory bit of funky fun for the look.

Dior Beauty Hosts NY Poison Club

Dior Beauty brought its one-night-only Poison Club fragrance launch party to New York City on Tuesday (January 31), where pretties donned Dior looks amidst the perfumed air.

Dianna Agron: There was more than a whisper of boudoir glam in the actress’s embroidered Dior black tulle corset dress with the boldly emblazoned Dior undershorts we’ve previously seen on Diane Kruger. I love how this look balanced an edgier provocativeness with full-on feminine beauty thanks to her sweet makeup by Dior Beauty along with Dior accessories including earrings, black heels and a sparkling clutch.

Bella Hadid: While you cannot see the straps of this Dior dress thanks to the model’s glossy locks, they too were embellished with the brand’s typography, ensuring a rebelliously cool twist on denim. Her Dior Beauty makeup was also on point, with Stuart Weitzman heels finishing the look.

Dianna Agron In Prada & Miu Miu ‘Novitate’ Sundance Film Festival Premiere & Party

Dianna Agron put the quirky design sensibility of Miuccia Prada to work for her at the ‘Novitate’ premiere and party at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah on Friday (January 20).

‘Novitate’ Sundance Film Festival Premiere: The intense, 3D embellishment on this navy Prada midi dress made the look appear top-heavy. At least it detracted attention from the tights worn with peep-toe sandals that instantly took me to granny-chic territory.

‘Novitate’ Sundance Film Festival Premiere Party: Donning another midi dress, she paired this busy Miu Miu printed design with Miu Miu feather-trimmed, pearl-accented Mary Jane pumps.

On both occasions, it seemed as if the dresses were a bit overwhelming—wearing her and not the other way around.

Tory Burch Paris Flagship Opening & After Party

Tory Burch Paris Flagship Opening & After Party
Dianna Agron, Mélanie Laurent, and Jessica Alba were among the Tory Burch-dressed lovelies at the Tory Burch Paris Flagship store opening and after party that was hosted on Tuesday (July 7) in Paris, France. During the event, Lauryn Hill took to the stage for a 45-minute set, which included her classic hits, ‘Doo-Wop’ from Miss Education and ‘Killing Me Softly.’

Dianna Agron: Showing the smooth richness of burgundy, the actress wore a Tory Burch Fall 2015 silk halter gown paired with the ‘Bowood’ sandal. She accessorized with a metallic Rodo clutch and jewels by Monica Vinader, which worked seamlessly with the gold studded embellishment of the dress.

Mélanie Laurent: The French star was at the height of effortless Parisian-chic minimalism in a Tory Burch Resort 2016 pebbled crepe jumpsuit. I love the bold orange hue that was enlivened with the Tory Burch double-horn pendant. The only thing I would change is the colour of her custom minaudière, as a lighter shade would have been preferred for summer. But it did match her black Tory Burch ‘Classic’ ankle-strap sandals.

Jessica Alba: Her decorative Tory Burch Fall 2015 jacquard gown was striking in its ornate undertones, which was balanced by the more straightforward ‘Jones’ sandal along with a stunning dark ruby lip and tightly knotted bun.

Vogue Paris Foundation Gala

The Vogue Paris Foundation Gala was hosted at Palais Galliera on Monday (July 6) in Paris, France, where a group of beauties attended in support of the museum’s contemporary fashion collections.

Dianna Agron: The actress wore a Tory Burch patterned dress with the added allure of side cutouts. An Emm Kuo clutch, Eva Fehren jewels, and breezy, loose waves completed her effortless entrance.

Chrissy Teigen: Leaving precious little to the imagination, Chrissy wore a delicately sheer Giorgio Armani gown that featured a lovely collection of shimmering pastel colours. That aside, I don’t know what was more distracting—the black sash that cut across the dress, its unavoidable transparency that revealed her nude knickers underneath, or her dark and vampy blood-red lip.
