Diane Kruger In Prada – Boulevard Of Stars Berlin & IFA 2014 Consumer Technology Trade Fair Opening Gala

Diane Kruger In Prada - Boulevard Of Stars Berlin & IFA 2014 Consumer Technology Trade Fair Opening Gala

Diane Kruger had a busy day yesterday (September 4), first attending the Reopening of the Boulevard of Stars and then the IFA 2014 Consumer Technology Trade Fair Opening Gala, both in Berlin.

The star chose to wear two head-to-toe Prada looks for the day.

Boulevard of Stars: Diane kept things classic and chic at her first appearance of the day in a Prada black cady crepe dress with golden leather details and black suede ankle strap shoes. A classic gold watch, face-framing waves and a crystal encrusted headband complete the look.

IFA Gala: For her evening look, Diane was pure elegance in an apricot cady crepe Prada gown embellished with golden crystals, stones and glass tubes. Apricot satin shoes and a purple satin clutch were the icing on the cake. Diane is the definition of understated elegance here, and I love the pop of purple against the apricot. Amping up the makeup volume with gold smokey eyes makes her look perfect for a nighttime affair.

Diane Kruger In RED Valentino – ‘Japan Rive Gauche’ Exhibition Preview

Diane Kruger In RED Valentino - 'Japan Rive Gauche' Exhibition Preview

Diane Kruger attended the ‘Japan Rive Gauche’ Exhibition Preview held at Le Bon Marche on Tuesday (September 2) in Paris, France.

Taking a sartorial stance on the classic trench with this cheeky iteration from RED Valentino’s Fall 2014 collection, the swan collar lends a directional finish to this statement-making look.

Adding a further edge to the look with lace-up booties, Diane added an elegant flourish to her look with a Chanel bag.

Are you enjoying the whimsical look with an edge, or has Björk’s 2001 Oscars swan dress made you never able to look at a swan on clothing in a positive light again?

Who Wore Chanel Better…Diane Kruger or Lily Allen?

Who Wore Chanel Better

Diane Kruger wore a beautiful Chanel Pre-Fall 2014 ensemble featuring a crisp white shirt with a small black bow, plus a collarless jacket and a sheer-hemmed skirt decorated with red, white and blue star appliqués to ‘The Galapagos Affair: Satan Came to Eden’ premiere during the 64th Berlinale International Film Festival.

As always, the styling was on point, with her favourite Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and a small black clutch completing the look.

Lily Allen wore the same look back in May while out to dinner at the Chiltern Firehouse.

Some might question, is that the same look? It is but Lily styled it differently, opting to wear the cropped blouse unbuttoned and going sans bow.

Did Lily’s more relaxed version of this look win you over?

For me it’s an easy win for Diane.

Get The Look: Diane Kruger’s FOX All-Star Party Tousled Tresses

Fox Summer TCA All-Star Party - ArrivalsCelebrity hairstylist Kylee Heath created Diane Kruger’s tousled tresses for the FOX All-Star Party during the 2014 Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour.

She started by applying Kerastase Volumactive Mousse from roots to ends on damp hair, adding a small amount of Oscar Blandi Jasmine Oil Serum to the ends.

Then she combed the product through and created a straight middle part with a rat-tail comb before blowing the hair out with a Croc Eco Blow Dryer and an Ibiza round brush.

She then started in the front to create smoothness and shine in the front sections, lightly rough-drying the rest of the hair, tucking the front sections behind Diane’s ears.

The desired result was contrast – smooth on the top, moving into lots of texture.

She then sprayed the hair mid-shaft through ends with Leonor Greyl Voluforme Styling Spray.

Kylee created a textured bend from the top of the ear through the ends by alternating with the Enzo Milano Bi-Tube Curling Iron and a smoothing iron. She rocked the smoothing iron forward and backward to create a smoothed-out zigzag bend. The Enzo iron created a more exaggerated version of the same bend. In creating a texture like this, it is important to use different sizes of bend.

After spraying Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray from mid-shaft through ends and lightly teased the hair underneath for added volume, she finished the look by applying a small amount of Kevin Murphy Easy Rider for any flyaways and a light spray throughout the hair with Oribe Superfine Strong Hairspray.
