Diane Kruger In Monse – 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

From the minute she hit the blue-carpeted scene, Diane Kruger was very much colour-coordinated at the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5) in New York City.

I was mesmerized by her Monse Fall 2017 strapless design, not only for its intense electric-cerulean hue but also for the sequined embellishment that looked like golden paint dripping down the dress.

Not only that, Diane’s styling upheld a sense of chic simplicity to further enhance the sublime power of the gown. Only Delfina Delettrez mismatched earrings were necessary to complete the look’s forward edge.

Were you as captivated by this statement as me?

Diane Kruger Debuts Her Grey Jason Wu Collaboration

Jason Wu and Diane Kruger have been best friends since around 2009 when the designer dress her during Cannes Film Festival. Jason has even named a bag after his bestie.

They have taken their friendship to another level by collaborating on his GREY Jason Wu line.

The 8-piece collection will feature knitwear, pants and jumpsuits and will range in price from $295-$995 and will be available this coming fall.

Diane was seen wearing the midnight pin-stripe twill palazzo pant with deep pleats and wide cuff detail with a double layered tank while attending an event during Cannes Film Festival.

Few actresses have mastered the art of personal style quite like, so it was a no brainer for Jason when picking a partner for this collaboration.

Diane Kruger In Jonathan Simkhai – 2017 Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Diane Kruger attended the closing ceremony of the 2017 Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 28), where she picked up her Best Actress Award.

One should never underestimates the power of a floor-length gown; and this custom Jonathan Simkhai gown proves that statement to be the case.

Her off-the-shoulder gown instantly won me over with its cool and contemporary direction, and elegant cut.

Teamed with Chopard jewels, I think this was my favourite look from Diane over the festival.

Surprisingly more so than the Dior Couture gown.

Diane Kruger In Jason Wu – ‘In The Fade (Aus Dem Nichts)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Diane Kruger was back on the red carpet this evening for the Cannes Film Festival of ‘In The Fade (Aus Dem Nichts)’.

Having worn BOSS for the photocall (Jason Wu is head womenwear designer), and seen Jason Wu in town for the amfAR gala with Diane, and since Diane collaborated with Jason for his GREY Jason Wu Capsule Collection, it was easy to deduce that Diane was going to wear Jason Wu this evening.

After the near-naked frenzy of Bella Hadid’s amfAR gown yesterday, you may feel that this lined sheer embellished dress is considerably demure in comparison.

I would’ve disliked the runway version – immensely – however, her version is a beautiful way to present this trend.

The German actress has already had a big gown moment, so here was her chance to go sexy and modern, and she succeeded.

Diane Kruger In BOSS – ‘In The Fade (Aus Dem Nichts)’ Cannes Photocall

It would seem that some of you were disappointed with Diane Kruger’s amfAR look, so you will be hoping that today’s (May 26) ‘In The Fade (Aus Dem Nichts)’ promotions during Cannes Film Festival will see the German actress on top form.

Well, she started off well donning a BOSS Fall 2017 dress featuring a daring cut-out which lends a touch of sartorial sass to the girlie silhouette.

The studded Self-Portrait x Robert Clergerie ‘Leyla’ suede sandals brings an edge to the look with the hair and makeup possessing a carefree spirit.

Diane Kruger In Alexander McQueen- 2017 amfAR Gala Cannes

Diane Kruger channeled a dark, creative mood at the amfAR Gala during the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (May 25).

We can generally expect Diane to dance with edgier, less expected looks, and she stayed true to form here in this Alexander McQueen Fall 2017 ensemble with Chopard jewels.

With its array of metallic embroidery and dripping in fringe, the look was certainly ready for a boho bewitching hour.

But, unlike her prior whimsical gown, I found the whimsy in this entrance to be heavier than I’d prefer for the likes of Cannes.

What do you make of it?
