Deepika Padukone In Gauri & Nainika – Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2017

Deepika Padukone was also at the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2017 on Friday (December 1) in Mumbai, India, where she joined Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.

I love a good element of sartorial drama, so my dreams were fulfilled in this Gauri & Nainika design that featured an impossibly large bow at the back to tie up the gift that was this mermaid silhouette gown.

The all-over crimson-red hue of the dress kept its more exaggerated moments of flair both modern and elegant.

Her statement chandelier earrings contributed a moment of Bollywood-inspired extravagance to her glamorous entrance.

Deepika Padukone In Sabyasachi & Prabal Gurung – GQ Nights & BBC Talking Movies

Deepika Padukone is one Bollywood star who’s style we can all agree is pretty damn flawless.

The Indian actress has had a busy few days; first attending yesterdays GQ Nights event in Mumbai, and today (November 15) she was filming a segment for BBC Talking Movies to promote her latest epic period drama film ‘Padmavati’.

GQ Nights: It was a glamorous night for Deepika wearing Indian-based label Sabyasachi. While the look is deeply rooted in tradition, I love the modern touch via the studded leather belt. I’m almost stunned into silence by how breath-taking this gold embellished look is. I just love how the look is designed with a sash which flows down the back for a romantic touch.

BBC Talking Movies: The one thing we learned from Cannes is that Deepika loves colour, so I wasn’t surprised to see her opt for this Prabal Gurung Spring 2018 look, which also featured a draping sash detail. Metallic Aquazzura pumps adds some high shine, but I feel like the look was bold enough on its own. This is the second time we’ve seen this outfit, as Mary J. Blige wore the same look during her ‘Mudbound’ promo tour back in October.

Deepika Padukone In Zara – OPPO F3 Event

If Olivia Culpo has piqued your interest, and you’re looking for more inspiration when it comes to the combining red and pink, Deepika Padukone has got you covered.

Back on August 10, the Bollywood star attended the launched of the OPPO F3 limited edition smartphone in Mumbai wearing a red jacquard Zara oriental print dress paired with the customised trousers in a hot pink hue.

The pieces are gorgeous on their own, however, put together, they form Salwar Kameez-style look with wide-leg trousers.

Totally committing to the colour scheme, she added magenta pointed-toe Christian Louboutin ‘Iriza’ pumps and Stella McCartney earrings.

Deepika Padukone In Brandon Maxwell – ‘Loveless (Nelyubov)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

I was about to draw a line under day 2 of Cannes Film Festival; labeling it one of the most uneventful in the history of the event, until Deepika Padukone hit the ‘Loveless (Nelyubov)’ premiere this evening (May 18).

This is how you bring subtle drama to the red carpet, serving everything you have – and more – in the name of fashion.

Her Brandon Maxwell Fall 2017 gown is supremely elegant with the tailored silhouette adding to the dramatic red-carpet impact which she styled with matching Chloe Gosselin ‘Opia’ sandals.

As I predicted the bold eye makeup continues to be her signature of this festival without looking too heavy or forced.

Ordinarily I would eyeroll the excessive ‘Angelina’ leg, but Deepika is one of the few – aside from Monica Bellucci and Elle Fanning, who are given me anything to get excited about this term.

Deepika Padukone In Marchesa – ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Deepika Padukone made a moody appearance at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and premiere of ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ on Wednesday (May 17).

The ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ actress wore a Marchesa Fall 2017 gown with a sweeping train.

I am really struck by the color of this gown. It’s so inky black with just a touch of purple infused into it, and reads so moody and unique on the carpet.

I am always a fan of the drama of Marchesa, and I love how they added a dose of sexiness into this dress with the crystal-incrusted under layers.

I’m slightly surprised to see Deepika wearing her hair down with such a formal look, but she is following a trend we’re seeing this year with slightly more undone beauty looks, and it really does work for her.

Deepika Padukone In Galvan London – L’ Oreal Paris Press

Deepika Padukone is having a very busy day meeting press as part of her duties as a L’Oreal Paris India ambassador during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival this afternoon (May 17).

The gorgeous actress is already on her second look, selecting a simple, clean, chic halter dress – which typifies Galvan’s aesthetic – in a lush rose-pink hue.

Polishing off the look with Messika jewels once again, the look was complete with smoldering eyes – which could prove to be her signature for this festival – and Christian Louboutin ‘Toufrou’ playful pumps we recently saw on Elle Fanning.

With two stunning looks down, I’m even more excited to see what she brings to the opening ceremony.

Deepika Padukone In Johanna Ortiz – L’Oréal Beach Studio

Deepika Padukone is set to make her Cannes Film Festival debut this evening, but she has already been set to work for L’Oreal earlier today meeting press.

The Indian beauty wore a Johanna Ortiz Fall 2017 dress with Messika jewels which certainly brighten my mood considering the non-stop rain here in London.

If I was to pinpoint a downside, I would say that I wished I could see her lavishly designed long ruffled gown from the front.

The nonchalant summery appeal couldn’t be more perfect for an event taking place along the French Riviera, I’m hoping to be equally blown away this evening.

What you can’t see in the first picture is the dramatic eye makeup she opted for with this look.

I hope to see more bold choices during Cannes.
