Deepika Padukone In Victoria Hayes – Cannes Film Festival

Deepika Padukone struck a pose at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 11) in France.

The actress’s red carpet gowns have been all about drama and there is definitely plenty of that in this Victoria Hayes royal purple suit with its strong silhouette and colour.

She chose to style it sans shirt to add some allure to the power dressing look.

The gold jewellery could make it too dated for some, but her restrained styling and beauty look prevent it from becoming gimmicky. Instead, it’s bold and polished.

Deepika Padukone In Ashi Studio Couture – ‘Ash Is The Purest White (Jiang Hu Er Nv) Cannes Film Festival Premiere

The red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘Ash Is The Purest White (Jiang Hu Er Nv)’ , was immediately shut down when Deepika Padukone stepped onto it.

I know many of you were fatigued by her look yesterday, but if this doesn’t shake you to your very core, I don’t know what will.

The Bollywood beauty dared to do what so few do at Cannes these days…take a risk.

We wanted drama. And here it is. Radiant in Ashi Studio Spring 2018 Couture.

Those of you who hate mullet dresses will have a hard time not loving this one, such is the sculptural elegance and powerful nature of this gown; which starts with the magnetic hue and ends with the punk-inspired styling of this look.

Go big or go home finally found its meaning again at Cannes.

Aquazzura ‘Simple Irresistable’ pumps in exotic pink plus Lorraine Schwartz jewels completed her look.

Deepika Padukone In Zuhair Murad Bridal – ‘Sorry Angel (Plaire, Aimer Et Courir Vite)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Deepika Padukone is the first Bollywood beauty to arrive at Cannes Film Festival; taking to the main stage this evening (May 10) for the ‘Sorry Angel (Plaire, Aimer Et Courir Vite)’ premiere.

I know some of you have an aversion to bridal gowns, but this sleeveless figure hugging gown with matching cape from Zuhair Murad’s Fall 2018 Bridal Collection isn’t giving me bridal vibes, but it is giving me all the magic of Cannes.

You’ll be delighted to see that Deepika lined her gown, so the intricacy of the white stones and leaf embroideries were fully realised without nullifying the look.

Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira jewels provided the finishing touches.

Deepika Padukone In Atelier Prabal Gurung – 2018 Met Gala

Deepika Padukone was also in attendance at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City.

This Atelier Prabal Gurung gown relied on the siren song of the powerful shade of crimson for dramatic impact.

With the sculptural shoulder detail and artful draping, it was a beautiful piece to behold—and I love the addition of the Tasaki Atelier serpentine earrings.

But, as was the case with Gabrielle Union’s Prabal Gurung dress, I could have easily pictured this look at another non-thematic event like Cannes, for instance.

Deepika Padukone In Anamika Khanna – 2018 Time 100 Gala

Deepika Padukone landed a spot on Time’s 100 most influential list, becoming the only Indian star this year to be included in the coveted list.

The ‘Padmaavat’ actor attended the Time 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday (April 24) wearing a bejewelled Anamika Khanna ivory saree, with the designer’s signature delicate floral appliqué work and generous use of satin.

Her look was a glamorous number that exuded strong vibes of femininity that was befitting to the honor and the occasion.

I would love to see more Indian celebrities wearing traditional looks on international red carpets.
