‘Life Of The Party’ World Premiere

The ‘Life Of The Party’ world premiere on Monday (April 30) in Opelika, Alabama had many lovely ladies in attendance.

Molly Gordon: The actress made a sweet statement in pleated Prada. Some might be reminded of Lupita Nyong’o’s gown from the 2014 Oscars given the pale blue colour and belted waist. With the embellished shoes and her raven mane, it’s a pretty look in its own right.

Gillian Jacobs: Elevating colourblocking, the actress’s Opening Ceremony Spring 2018 RTW dress had bands of speckled fabric. The tied waist was a unique interpretation of cutouts and enhanced the femininity of the frilled skirt. A Building Block bag and Nicholas Kirkwood sandals played into the dynamic colour palette.

Julie Bowen: Opting for rich colour, the ‘Modern Family’ actress was outfitted in Christian Siriano Fall 2018. The sleek silhouette exudes a confidence, but there’s something off about the proportions and placement of the asymmetrical hemline. Brian Atwood sandals brought some unexpected pattern.

Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ Red Carpet Roundup

Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ event brought out a bevy of beauties on Friday (April 27) in Los Angeles, California. They joined Storm ReidAngela Sarafyan and Yara Shahidi.

Skai Jackson: The Disney actress looked sweet in Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018. This is not the first look I would have expected from the designer with his classic, minimalist aesthetic, but think it suits her to a tee. The white and pink tie dye print and oversized T-shirt dress design are fun and feminine. The accessories also add fashion-forward appeal.

Madelaine Petsch: Opting for coordinates, the ‘Riverdale’ actress wore a head-turning Prada Spring 2018 look. Some might crave a cleaner finish, but everything is working from the stripes to the leopard spots to the graphic print in the Prada printed blouse. It presents a sophisticated rock ‘n roll sentiment.

Katherine Langford: The ‘Marie Claire’ cover girl embraced a retro romantic mood in a Markarian custom Fall 2018 dress. While the belted silhouette might be classic, the glittery pale pink fabric with red accents brought it into modern times.

Debby Ryan In Styland – ‘Cover Versions’ LA Premiere

Debby Ryan attended the LA premiere of ‘Cover Versions’ on Monday (April 9), wearing something we’ve seen popping up in relative frequency on the red carpet lately: pastel suiting.

Here, with this Styland number, we had a two-in-one deal, though, as it also had the influence of PJs languidly woven into the menswear trend.

I was immediately reminded of another baby-blue Styland suit when Olivia Munn wore a more tailored, less sleepwear-inspired version.

I wish some of that tailoring had been lent to this look, as whatever the good intentions, it was ultimately compromised by execution and fit.

Some nips and tucks as well as a steam for the creases and sleeker styling—say, a low bun—would have elevated it greatly.

Premiere Of The Orchard’s ‘Flower’

It was a romantic mood at The Orchard’s ‘Flower’ premiere on Tuesday (March 13) in Los Angeles, California, with lovely ladies stepping out in pretty silhouettes.

Aubrey Plaza:
The former ‘Parks and Recreation’ actress was casually chic in a 3.1 Phillip Lim dress and sweater. The knitwear draped alluringly off one shoulder adding a sensuality to the soft look. A Jimmy Choo clutch, Alexandre Birman sandals and jewels by Established Jewelry, EF Collection and Melinda Maria ensured a polished finish.

Zoey Deutch:
Bringing bold prints, the beauty wore a Prada dress. Patterned with a pink and red brocade, it had a girly charm that was emphasized with the bow at the waist. Her metallic sandals played off the sheen in the frock, adding a quirky note to the sleek style.

Debby Ryan: The actress cut a feminine figure in a fit-and-flare gown. The off-the-shoulder neckline added a sensual allure, but it was the quieter details that made the look unique. The pockets added a relaxed charm while the chunky pale pink mules brought a girlish playfulness.

harper x Harper’s BAZAAR May Issue Event Red Carpet Roundup

Other starlets joined Emily Robinson for the harper x Harper’s BAZAAR May Issue Event on Wednesday (April 26) in LA.

Laura Marano: I love the colourful vibrancy of this Balmain bandage-inspired dress. What I didn’t love so much was Laura’s slicked-down hair and heavy makeup, as this beauty approach was too forced and mature for the bright young actress.

Debby Ryan: With a fresher outlook, Debby was darling in a sky-blue patterned Carolina Herrera frock styled with a silvery-gray Edie Parker clutch, only leaving me to question why not echo a silver or blue shade in her shoes?

Victoria Justice: She covered off on every era in this ensemble—from her ’70s-inspired sparkling sequin PrettyLittleThing ‘Sharlie’ mini, to a hole-dotted denim jacket that could have been ripped straight from the ’90s, and Lucite heels hearkening back to the ’80s. And, despite its OTT essence, she surprisingly wore it with a sense of relaxed ease.

2015 MuchMusic Video Awards

2015 MuchMusic Video Awards

The 2015 MuchMusic Video Awards took place at MuchMusic HQ on Sunday (June 21) in Toronto, Canada.

Hailee Steinfeld: The young star continues to work an edgier angle, this time wearing an Emilio Pucci Fall 2015 black and silver micro sequin dress styled with Sophia Webster ‘Jetta’ booties and an Lee Savage clutch. I’m only liking this look from the ankles up as the booties are competing with the dress. I do like appreciate that Hailee is growing up and wanting to look more mature up, but I do miss her more clean-cut style.

Bella Thorne: Racy red was the theme of Bella’s look, donning a Julien Macdonald Fall 2015 look which, as you would expect, was partly revealing due to its sheer nature. A Rauwolf clutch and Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals perfectly accessorized the look.

Gigi Hadid: The model was on hand to bring some more sex appeal to this red carpet wearing a Mikhael Kale three-piece look which featured a cropped jacket etched with #Hadid on the back.

6th Annual ELLE Women In Music Celebration

6th Annual ELLE Women In Music Celebration

A host of lovely ladies stepped out for the 6th annual ELLE Women In Music celebration held at Boulevard3 in Hollywood, California on Wednesday (May 20).

Brittany Snow: The actress’ Blumarine LWD was one of my favourite from this bunch mostly because of the delicate lace overlay. I love a pop of colour, so I should be totally enamoured by her Brian Atwood pumps, but I think her Oroton ‘Aura’ clutch and silver Pamela Love jewels are much more in tune with her frock.

Christa B. Allen: I also had a love-from-the-ankle-up moment with Christa’s look. I think I would’ve preferred a red or nude Stuart Weitzman Nudists or Miu Miu strappy mules with her Donna Karan Spring 2015 outfit which showcases her rockin bod.
