Victoria and David Beckham for Vogue Paris December-January 2014

Victoria and David Beckham pose in a romantic embrace as they grace the two covers of the December-January 2014 issue of Vogue Paris, which were captured by Inez and Vinoodh.

The fashion designer guest edits the issue, opening up her festive family album of years past for the special Christmas issue.

While she normally works solo on her style career, I’m not mad she recruited her newly retired footballer husband for the exclusive spread.

Sporting a backcombed ‘do, the designer wears a black dress on one cover and green on the other, while hubby channels his inner James Bond in an impeccably cut tuxedo.

I think the shot of Victoria in the green dress is my favourite.

This issue hits newsstands in Paris on December 2.

David Beckham for Belstaff Spring 2014

Back in September, Belstaff announced David Beckham as the face of the brand’s 2014 global advertising campaign.

The first picture was released this week and, as you would expect, David looks hotter than ever.

Photographed by Peter Lindbergh, the campaign was shot on location in Buckinghamshire, England and sees David leading his band of brothers travelling across the English countryside.

This might just be the first campaign starring David Beckham in which he is fully clothed; usually he is in his underwear. Not that I’m complaining.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear 8 Nov

Here’s a quick roundup of some of the handsome fellas taking to the red carpet yesterday evening.

Tinie Tempah: The birthday boy attended the Beats by Dre event, which doubled up as his ‘Demonstration’ album launch party in London. Perhaps mindful of the fact that some of you have grown tired of the cropped pants, or perhaps because temperatures are dropping swiftly, he opted to wear regular pants on this occasion. I just love the tan wool blazer. This is yet another dapper Dolce & Gabbana look.

David Beckham: The handsome former footballer joined Kylie Minogue on the red carpet for the GQ Men of the Year Awards in Berlin, Germany looking very dapper in his black suit with a Remembrance Day red poppy proudly pinned to his lapel. “Like no other athlete, David Beckham represents style and fashion influence. With his trendsetting and sometimes daring appearances he has created a bridge between the world of design, models and photographers, and the world of world-class sports, and brought glamour back to a male sport”, said José Redondo-Vega, editor-in-chief of GQ Germany.

Gerard Butler: The Scottish actor attended the Ermenegildo Zegna global store opening hosted by Gildo Zegna and Stefano Pilati in Beverly Hills, California yesterday evening. Looking slick in a blue two-button suit, I love the contrasting black tie and blue shoes. Men so often stick to black.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Blake Lively In Gucci, David Gandy In Dolce & Gabbana and David Beckham In Burberry Tailoring

BDOTW

Blake Lively was the overall winner for best dressed this week; she looked outstanding with a grownup sexy attitude, wearing a Gucci Resort 2014 leather dress with impeccable styling and a dark-blonde ‘do.

When it came to the fellas your pick was the handsome Dandy Gandy in his three-piece Dolce & Gabbana suit. The smouldering eyes, the handsome good looks, the suit: whatever your reason for voting for him, he deserved the win.

I, on the other hand, picked David Beckham in his classic Burberry Tailoring suit. You need not ask why.

Victoria Beckham In Victoria Beckham – An Evening To Celebrate The Global Fund

Victoria Beckham In Victoria Beckham - An Evening To Celebrate The Global Fund

After attending separate events on Sunday evening, the Beckhams stepped out last night to celebrate The Global Fund’s first Green Carpet Challenge at Apsley House in London.

Modifying her signature pose just enough to take hubby David Beckham’s hand, the designer was of course decked out in her own threads, wearing an all-black look featuring a split-sleeve boyfriend blazer adorned with a gleaming satin lapel which she styled with a silk top, black slim-fit pants and Manolo Blahnik pumps.

You may remember that Carey Mulligan wore this blazer during her ‘The Great Gatsby’ promo tour.

David couldn’t look more handsome, opting for a classic Burberry Tailoring suit.

This picture takes me back to their early Posh and Becks days when they used to wear matching looks.

David Beckham In Belstaff – Belstaff House Opening Photocall

David Beckham In Belstaff - Belstaff House Opening Photocall

David Beckham attended the opening of the new London flagship store of British luxury clothing brand Belstaff House this evening.

Bond Street was transformed into a biker meet for the night, with motorcyclists and stunt bikers, but the star of the night was undoubtedly David, who was unveiled as the new face of Belstaff, lighting up the cold wet London evening with his surprise attendance.

David will front Belstaff’s Spring/Summer 2014 global advertising campaign, which will be photographed by Peter Lindberg and inspired by the late great Belstaff aficionado Steve McQueen.

The former soccer star of course wore a Belstaff leather jacket, which the British brand is famous for.

David has been a long time fan of Belstaff’s outerwear, so it comes as no surprise to me that the brand made him an official ambassador.

Victoria is also a fan of Belstaff’s leather outwear as is Sarah Jessica Parker.
