Front Row @ Topshop Unique Fall 2013

Topshop Fall 2013 Front Row

The Topshop Unique Fall 2013 show took place in London yesterday afternoon and they invited their favourite celebs to take in the new collection.

Kate Bosworth: Decked out head-to-toe in Topshop, the actress wore a fluffy grey Topshop Unique sweater which she styled with a darker grey sequinned Unique mini skirt. Opting to keep her look monotone, she accessorized with a black Topshop clutch and simple black pumps. Neutral makeup and a top-knot provided the finishing touches. Did this look need some colour to lift it? Or are you happy with this look as it is?

Olivia Palermo: As you would expect from Olivia, she wore a mixture of brands for her front-row look. A cosy Tibi fur jacket, worn over her layered Topshop sheer blouse and white sequinned Tibi top, was accented with a white leather belt. I love the print on the Topshop cropped pants, which livened up the look, as did her Whistles yellow python clutch. Monika Chang black ankle-strap pumps with a white heel accessorized her look. Olivia’s longer wavy tresses perfectly framed her face, with kohl-rimmed eyes, pink lips and a red manicure completing her look beauty-wise.

Pixie Geldof: The star wore a blue-and-white floral-print Topshop Boutique dress. I’m not at all surprised to see her carrying her animal-print Dolce & Gabbana clutch, because she rarely hits the red carpet without one piece of her look consisting of a Dolce piece. Masculine patent leather loafers, gold jewels and a two-tone manicure completed her look.

Daisy Lowe In Dolce & Gabbana – 2013 Elle Style Awards

Daisy Lowe In Dolce & Gabbana Elle Style Awards

Daisy Lowe took to the red carpet this evening at the 2013 Elle Style Awards hosted at the Savoy Hotel in London.

The model took a sweet turn at the award ceremony in a Dolce & Gabbana strapless ‘Sera’ dress with black Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps.

The sweetheart neckline, feminine floral pattern, and playful ’50s style silhouette looked fun and party-ready.

I especially love how she toned down the sweetness of the look with an edgy and on-trend messy fishtail braid and a deep red lip.

You may remember that the master in sweet styles, Amy Adams, also walked the red carpet in this same look.

Harper’s Bazaar Woman of the Year Awards Red Carpet Round Up

Here are some more looks from Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards which took place at Claridge’s Hotel in London yesterday evening.

Ellie Simmonds: We’ve had the face of and the voice of the 2012 London Olympics; here we have the face of the Paralympics, Ellie Simmonds. The athlete wore a midnight-blue Stella McCartney dress with a V-neckline and black embellishments. She was honoured on the night with Victoria Pendleton and Jessica Ennis, all receiving the ‘British Ambassadors of the Year’ award.

Daisy Lowe: The model opted for pale makeup with smoky eyes and blood-red lips while wearing an embellished Elie Saab gown. Her ¾-length-sleeve gown was styled with a Charlotte Olympia clutch. Daisy often opts for this type of makeup so it wasn’t just for Halloween.

Ruth Wilson: The British actress wore a black silk camisole top with her striking Peter Pilotto Spring 2013 skirt with a flounced hem. Black Kirkwood pumps and an Anton Heunis three crystal square statement necklace accessorized her look.

Yasmin Le Bon: The supermodel wore a Willow Resort 2013 draped top and loose-fit pants with a snakeskin print which she styled with petrol-blue Nicholas Kirkwood peep-toes and a silver clutch.Read More…

Who Wore Topshop Unique Better…Daisy Lowe or Leigh Lezark?

Daisy Lowe was the first to wear this Topshop Unique sweater, as a dress, when she attended the Topshop Unique Spring 2013 presentation in London during Fashion Week.

The model must have worn either an extra large or a ‘tall’ version of the sweater which tends to be longer.
A geek-chic backpack and wedged knee-high boots completed her look.

Leigh Lezark was also seen wearing this sweater last week at the ‘Anna Dello Russo for H&M’ party in Paris.
The DJ and FROWer paired the look with a pair of leather shorts, knee-high boots and a chain-accented shoulder bag.

I prefer Daisy’s wedges, but I really dislike the unnecessary necklace which looks like it was added to distract us from the fact that she wasn’t wearing any pants, so Leigh only wins by default.

You can buy Daisy and Leigh’s Topshop Unique sweater from Topshop US and Topshop International.

Daisy Lowe For InStyle UK September 2012

Daisy Lowe graces the September 2012 issue of InStyle UK magazine.

The 23-year-old British model was captured by Lee Broomfield wearing Prada on the cover. The rest of her editorial sees her wearing Jil Sander, Vivienne Westwood and Moschino.

Daisy dishes on everything from her shoot with Playboy and loving her curves.

On posing for Playboy: “When I got the email with the pictures, I was quite shocked by the last photo and thought, ‘Did they have to show that much of it?’ I was a little freaked out.”

On her curves: “I love eating. I don’t think I’ve ever missed a meal. I’m not built that way and I don’t like watching what I eat. One of life’s finest things is enjoying your food. Of course, there are times when I’ve stood next to models and felt like an elephant, but I’m adamant about the fact that I’m not a big girl, I just have the natural feminine figure. While I appreciate how thin some of the models are – when it’s healthy – and think, ‘Yeah, you’re gorgeous and the clothes hang off you amazingly’, I like to stay strong about how I’m built.”

On living in the moment: “I’m so not a big plan girl. I like going where the wind takes me. I think it’s best not to jinx anything.”

On her career outlook: “If people want to book me, that’s great and if they don’t, that’s cool too.”
