Cynthia Nixon In Tibi - 100th Annual White House Correspondents' Association Dinner

Cynthia Nixon attended the 100th Annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner held at the Washington Hilton on Saturday (May 3) in Washington, DC.

Like Kristen Bell and Lupita Nyong’o, this was also one of the few looks I didn’t like on this red carpet.

The actress wore a Tia Cibani long-sleeve gown with a jarring blurred rose print which again was way too long.

Going an inch or two shorter and sleeveless may have saved this.

Here are the rest of the looks from the 2012 Tony Awards held in New York City yesterday evening.

Sheryl Crow: The singer wore a gorgeous Marchesa navy embroidered illusion gown. The detail on the bodice is sensational.

Cynthia Nixon: The newly-married actress arrived on the red carpet wearing a Carolina Herrera gown. Her raspberry draped neck gown featured a crystal embellished insert and a red waistband. I would’ve loved the gown had it not been for the red waistband. A darker berry hue would’ve worked better for me to complement the crystals. A light pink clutch, Fred Leighton jewels and lavender peep-toes completed her look.

Judith Light: The actress graced the red carpet wearing a Sophie Theallet chiffon charmeuse scarf gown from the Resort 2012 collection. The Tony- winning actress, for ‘Other Desert Cities’, dazzled with a selection of jewels including a breathtaking necklace which upstaged her gown somewhat. A gold glitter clutch and gold earrings completed her Tony Award-winning look.

Cynthia Nixon showed off her natural hair colour at the City Harvest’s 17th Annual “An Evening of Practical Magic” in New York City last night.

The Sex And City actress opted to wear a dress from one of her ‘go-to’ designers, Carolina Herrera.

Her Spring 2011 floral impressionist jacquard dress with an asymmetrical neckline is paired with nude heels.

Cynthia tends to be hit and miss on the red carpet – do you remember her last look?

On this occasion is it a hit or a miss for you?

It’s a hit for me.

‘Sex And The City’ star Cynthia Nixon was spotted backstage at The 30th Anniversary Of The Promise event in Washington DC this weekend.

The former red head wore a very dramatic Carolina Herrera Fall 2010 gown.

Model Iris Strubegger just about makes this chocolate brush stroke print silk one sleeve gown and a red bustier look good, but it Cynthia isn’t so lucky as she looks really bad.

No wonder she didn’t stand up in any of the photos.

Adding long gloves to the look doesn’t help this either.

This look joins a rapidly growing Worst Dressed Of The Year list with recent additions Marion Cotillard and Katie Holmes.

Tory Burch looks considerably more comfortable and elegant in her white strapless gown.

From the previous polls I think it’s clear that Sarah Jessica Parker gets your vote for Best Dressed when to comes to the SATC2 premiere’s, so vote on which looks you loved from each of the ladies.

Kristen wins overall for me.

Before the “Sex And The City 2″ Japan Premiere, there was a photocall with the fab 4 in Tokyo.

Cynthia Nixon opted for a black fitted dress with matching black pumps, whilst Kristin Davis wore a Giambattista Valli red knot dress.

It’s not vintage but she still look fabulous, as she pairs her red dress with snake skin pumps.

A pre-bob Kim Cattrall wore a floral print dress accented with a gold belt.

All eyes were on Sarah Jessica Parker wearing a vintage Richelene navy sequin strapless dress.

She toned down the dazzle of her dress by pairing it with a white Alexander McQuee blazer with a blue trim, electric blue satin Ferragamo pumps and the gold Alexander McQueen clutch she carried to the Japan Premiere.

Love the look, but adore that necklace.
