Entertainment Weekly’s Screen Actors Guild Awards Celebration Red Carpet Roundup

The stars came out in full force for Entertainment Weekly’s Screen Actors Guild Awards Celebration on Saturday (January 20).

Crystal Reed: There’s a lot to love about Crystal’s Dion Lee Spring 2018 look, but the pleated skirt steal the show for me. I love the overlay that gives it a dual-color effect.

Tommy Dorfman: I’ve always been wholly on-board with Tommy’s obvious love of fashion and willingness to experiment, but I literally can’t even with this. I feel like the entire thing is just trying too hard, and is completely unflattering.

Sarah Hyland: This velvet and satin asymmetrical Self Portrait Fall 2017 gown is as fun and perky and Sarah herself. And us usual, Sarah’s hair and makeup team knocked it out of the park.

2018 Golden Globe Awards Parties

The 2018 Golden Globe Awards were a study in many glamorous renditions of the colour black. And, for the most part, the Globes after parties followed suit with the hue taking on all measures of late-night allure.

Diane Kruger: After a regally glamorous entrance at the Globes, Diane was at the InStyle and Warner Bros. post-party, where she imbued black, cropped trousers with a bit of creamy lace in this Alexander McQueen Spring 2018 ensemble. I have a feeling that the tattered, asymmetrical effect of the lace bustier top will turn some away from the more experimental look.

Tessa Thompson: At HBO’s official after party in LA, Tessa suited up in an Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2017 Couture menswear-inspired look that delivered plenty of intriguing edge when styled with the MATEO jewelry and bauble-accented sandals. I was happy for the sheer shirting underneath to balance the boxier shape of the tuxedo blazer.

Nina Dobrev: The actress flaunted her toned abs at the InStyle party in this Ralph Lauren cutout gown. Even with the futuristic liquid-silver paneling, something about the look read a bit dated. Alexis Bittar choker completed her look.

Crystal Reed In J. Mendel – 45th International Emmy Awards

Crystal Reed looked beautiful at the 45th International Emmy Awards on Monday (November 20) in New York City.

Her J. Mendel Fall 2017 gown had a magnificent textural quality courtesy of the whimsical bands decorating the full skirt.

The sheer panels provided a lightness to the feather-like tufts of white and soft peach, creating an ethereal effect.

Pale gowns in neutral shades can sometimes wash out the wearer, but the embellished maxi had a flattering warmth which enlivened the ‘Gotham’ star’s complexion.

The black belt tied things up perfectly, echoing the sheer stripes.

Crystal Reed In Alessandra Rich – Build Series Presents: ‘Gotham’

Crystal Reed swung by Build Studio in New York City for Build Series Presents: ‘Gotham’ on Wednesday (October 18).

To chat about the hit TV series, she donned an Alessandra Rich Fall 2017 double-breasted suit dress that I immediately fell in love with.

It was the inherent girly charm, manifested in the ruffle detailing, mixed with the precise tailoring that worked so well on her.

And, I didn’t even mind the black pumps on this occasion, as they provided visual continuity between her beautiful raven waves and a navy M2MALLETIER clutch.

Refinery29’s 29Rooms Event

Refinery29 hosted an interactive funhouse of style, culture, and technology in New York City on Thursday (September 7), where a number of PYTs came out to play at this 3rd annual 29Rooms event.

Larsen Thompson: I absolutely love how Larsen used her look to echo the whimsy of the event. Her Arianne Elmy blouse with ruffled statement sleeves was perfectly balanced to the edgier, sleek shine of the Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini Fall 2017 trousers—all topped off with Alchimia Di Ballin ‘Kari’ boots for a retro-forward finish.

Shay Mitchell: Shay let the bold print of this Fausto Puglisi Resort 2018 oversized jacket do the talking. There was something about the fit that threw me off, though, as it appeared slightly haphazard. The chain necklaces also remained unnecessary.
