Condola Rashad In Carolina Herrera – 2018 Tony Awards

Condola Rashad has always been one to make a splash at the Tony Awards, and Sunday nights event was no different.

When I saw this Carolina Herrera Fall 2018 off the shoulder, silk faille red gown on the runway, I prayed that by the time it hit the red carpet that some alterations would be made to make me fall for this look because I love the idea and the feeling behind it all.

The colour is striking on Condola, but as hard as I tried, I couldn’t fall in love with this gown.

Why?

Mostly because of the “just got out of a box” crumpled effect of the fabric.

Condola herself is stunning which saddens me most about this look.

Condola Rashad In Jonathan Cohen – ‘Saint Joan’ Broadway Opening Night

Condola Rashad celebrated the Broadway Opening Night of ‘Saint Joan’ on Wednesday (April 25) in New York City.

The play’s star wore a Jonathan Cohen Spring 2018 peasant dress, printed in abstract florals, that riffed on notions of Victoriana and bohemian romance.

However, it’s pretty safe to say she modernized the look with her royal-purple-tinged braids that offered a spirited finish to the more relaxed, boho vibe.

2017 Tony Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The glamour of the 2017 Tony Awards red carpet continued with a number of stars of stage and screen, who all converged in New York City on Sunday evening (June 11).

Denée Benton: The darling ingénue was dressed in an equally charming Oscar de la Renta Resort 2018 frock that turned over a chic new leaf with its whimsical flutter of embellished foliage. Styled with Oscar de la Renta ‘Romy’ sandals and Fred Leighton jewelry, the look was at the height of fresh sophistication and just so happened to coordinate with the rose and grass wall behind her. Such a stylish coincidence.

Condola Rashad: Making a dynamic entrance, Condola’s Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Spring 2017 dress had the signature sculpted bodice and silhouette we’d expect. The impactful addition of the bold metallic and orange paneling, plus her sleek long ponytail, created a strong, modern look.

Patina Miller: Outfitting her baby bump in bright fuchsia pink, Patina wore a Roland Mouret that was precision fitted and formed to her, as we’d expect from the designer. A silver Judith Leiber clutch and Graziela Gems completed the look.
