MAC and Vogue Host Giambattista Valli Dinner

MAC and Vogue Host Giambattista Valli Dinner

MAC and Vogue toasted Giambattista Valli by holding a dinner party in his honour at the Chateau Marmont on Thursday (November 20) in Los Angeles, California.

Olivia Munn: The ‘Newsroom’ actress was working a red and white theme, shelving her favourite sultry dresses in favour of chic Giambattista Valli Resort 2015 separates rendered in a floral, paisley and snakeskin print.

Amber Heard: The actress had the honour of wearing a Fall 2014 Couture piece. Now this is how a sheer piece can be worn with elegance. Oozing plenty of Parisian charm in this floral appliqué look spliced with a striped waist and matching panties, I can’t help but feel she let this look down with the overly stark berry lip colour.

Cody Horn: The ‘Magic Mike’ actress wore a pretty Resort 2015 jacquard floral outfit, keeping the hair and makeup perfectly in tune with the sweet, subtle vibe of her frock while amping up the look with metallic accessories.

Amber would’ve been my favourite here, but in the end I went with the charismatic, sweet offering of Cody’s look.

Michael Kors Celebrates The Launch Of Claiborne Swanson Frank’s ‘Young Hollywood’ Portrait Book

Michael Kors Claiborne Swanson Frank's 'Young Hollywood'

The Michael Kors launch of Claiborne Swanson Frank’s ‘Young Hollywood’ portrait book took place on Thursday (October 2) in Beverly Hills, California.

Hailee Steinfeld: The young star, who was just in Paris for the Miu Miu Spring 2015 show, wore a pretty white lace Michael Kors Resort 2015 dress. I love the tan-coloured accessories, which complemented the lining of her sheer dress, and the contrasting fuchsia lip adding a punchy flourish to her look.

Emmy Rossum: Giving us a sultry vixen look, the ‘Shameless’ actress ensured that all eyes were on her wearing a Michael Kors Resort 2015 plunging chiffon frock with a tiered ruffle skirt. Vamping up the look with kohl-rimmed eyes, a purple MICHAEL Michael Kors ‘Elsie’ clutch added a pop of colour, with her embellished Louboutins adding a touch of sparkle.

Julianne Hough: I keep going back and forth with Julianne’s look. On the one hand I love her Michael Kors Resort 2015 printed cropped suit, but both the matching clutch and brooch detail feel like overkill. I am grateful she didn’t go one step further and wear the matching printed pumps.

Michael Kors Spring 2015 Front Row

Michael Kors Spring 2015 Front Row

The front row of the Michael Kors Spring 2015 presentation on Tuesday (September 10) at Spring Studios, held during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City, featured a bevy of the designer’s darlings who dressed in their Michael Kors best for the show.

Jessica Chastain: Donning a black and oleander printed frock and black ‘Doris’ sandals, both from the Michael Kors Resort 2015 collection, the actress worked this sweet and charming look to perfection.

Cody Horn: The model-actress complemented the sporty-chic appeal of the white embellished t-shirt dress with peanut ‘Janet’ platform sandals, both from the Michael Kors Resort 2015 collection. A messy updo along with a silver embellished ‘Elsie’ clutch from the MICHAEL Michael Kors Holiday 2014 collection completed the ensemble. I don’t love the colour of the shoes with this look, but from the ankles up, it works.

Cody Horn In Jonathan Saunders – Estee Lauder Modern Muse Moments Screening

Cody Horn In Jonathan Saunders - Estee Lauder Modern Muse Moments Screening

We haven’t seen much of Cody Horn since her ‘Magic Mike’ promo tour; however, she was back on the red carpet last night (September 3) for the Estee Lauder Modern Muse Moments screening in New York City.

Sporting a longer, brighter-blonde hairstyle à la Carrie Underwood teased into glossy waves, the actress wore a patchwork mini dress with colour-blocking and Asian floral embroidery which hails from Jonathan Saunders’ Pre-Fall 2014 collection.

The exotic colourful mix is very enticing, and even though I’m usually turned off by all-black accessories, they not only complement the black velvet and satin trims on her dress, but they also don’t upstage the look.

FORWARD and Cushnie Et Ochs Dinner Party

FORWARD and Cushnie Et Ochs Dinner Party

FORWARD and Cushnie Et Ochs hosted an intimate dinner party last night (June 26) at Gjelina restaurant in Venice, California.

Ashley Madekwe: The actress and fashion blogger wore a long-sleeved Cushnie Et Ochs bordeaux silk crepe dress from the Pre-Fall 2014 collection with nude Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals. The color of the sophisticated dress looked beautiful against Ashley’s skintone, and long, loose waves, practically non-existent makeup and a white mani/pedi rounded out her perfectly effortless approach to style.

Jamie Chung: The actress opted for a teal Cushnie Et Ochs halter dress from the Fall 2014 collection. Like Ashley, Jamie paired her look with Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals, and she also rocked the on-trend white mani/pedi. The geometric bodice of the dress is dramatic and editorial, but looks slightly big on the petite star–a bit of tailoring might have served her well. An undone pony and barely there makeup completed the look.

Cody Horn: The actress went with a look from the Spring 2014 Cushnie Et Ochs collection, and the black embossed python lambskin sliced dress made quite an impact. The dress looked beautiful against her toned figure, but by only revealing small slices of skin, was classy, not overt. Simple black sandals and a black clutch were perfect accessories, so as not to take attention away from the dress, and her effortless hair style and ‘does she or doesn’t she’ makeup continued the trend of ‘easy does it’ styling.

Max Mara And W Magazine Cocktail Party Honouring The Women In Film Max Mara Face Of The Future, Rose Byrne

Max Mara 1

A crush of luminous lovelies were on the scene at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday (June 10) for MaxMara And W Magazine’s cocktail party in honour of the Women in Film Max Mara Face Of The Future, Rose Byrne. Looks from MaxMara and its youthful Sportmax label were plentiful—naturally—with guests each bringing their own unique flair to the evening’s fashion.

Rose Byrne: As the party’s ‘it’ girl, Rose appropriately led the event with one of the more eye-catching, glittery ensembles, shining brightly in a Max Mara midnight-navy sequinned V-neck dress. She paired down the glitz factor with dual-tone, Jimmy Choo Kahlua pumps, neutral makeup and minimal jewels.

Ahna O’Reilly: Pretty in girly pink, Ahna stepped out in a Sportmax crepe dress with zipper detail, Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and a contrasting blue Edie Parker ‘Edie’ clutch.

Kiernan Shipka: The young trendsetting starlet gave us a feminine look with edge via her demure MaxMara beaded white silk top and tougher Max Mara black leather skirt with feminine pleating. She added a pop of bold colour via a yellow Christian Louboutin studded bag along with strappy sandals.
