Coco Rocha In Moschino & Kate Upton In Nina Ricci - VRC Oaks Club Luncheon

Coco Rocha and Kate Upton donned their finest hats for the VRC Oaks Club Luncheon held at the Crown Palladium on Wednesday afternoon in Melbourne, Australia.

Coco Rocha: After donning some fashion-forward headpieces over the last few days, this one was quite conservative by her standards. The black Philip Treacy hat, angled to one side, was worn with a Moschino Pre-Fall 2013 look featuring a black embellished jacket and skirt and a cream blouse.

Kate Upton: Wearing a similar, yet smaller, hat to Coco, Kate worked an uptown-girl look wearing a cream Nina Ricci stretch wool-blend crepe jacket and matching skirt with cream Jimmy Choo ‘Xenia’ sandals and a red Chanel bag. I’m not fond of the accessories; they let down what could’ve been a great look. You may remember that Nicole Kidman has already worn the suit and Olivia Palermo has donned the jacket. So how does this look work for you the third time out?

Coco Rocha In Anthony Capon and Aurelio Costarella - Oaks Day

Coco Rocha is still making the fashion-statement rounds in Melbourne, Australia, and her appearance at Oaks Day at Flemington Racecourse today proved even more dramatic than her first track-side look from earlier in the week.

Styled in not one, but two dresses, the model wore a gold rose-adorned Anthony Capon creation over a white Aurelio Costarella cocktail dress. Due to the gold dress’s high-neck collar, architectural shoulders, and exaggerated tutu-like skirt, there was no problem differentiating the layers; in fact, it merely gave Coco’s ensemble added dimension.

Not to be upstaged, her matching rose-adorned Anthony Capon hat continued the theme of standout details, with simple white pumps and wine-coloured lips completing the ensemble.

Coco Rocha In Peter Pilotto - Melbourne Cup Day

Coco Rocha attended the 2013 Melbourne Cup in Australia on Tuesday.

The model chose one of Peter Pilotto’s Fall 2013 dresses — a red, black, and white-printed number complete with exaggerated cape-inspired shoulders, a high neck, and a split-front skirt.

Let’s be honest, though. The dress may be a focal point, but this is really an outfit driven by hat choice, and Coco didn’t disappoint in hers. She wore a netted black Nerida Winter bow headpiece that complemented the structure and print of her Peter Pilotto dress despite its quirky Mickey Mouse-esque shape.

Do you think her styling worked for Melbourne Cup Day?

19th Annual Art Walk NY

It was very much a Dolce fest at the 19th Annual Art Walk NY held at 82 Mercer in New York City on Tuesday evening.

Coco Rocha: The model kept it simple yet striking in black wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 black jacquard dress with a lace yoke and sleeve. It’s a shame the shoes are so bland, but she makes up for it with that bright orange lip.

Elettra Wiedemann: Opting for a significantly more captivating Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 frock inspired by the Byzantine mosaics of Sicily’s Monreale Cathedral which sparkle with crystal, sequin and bead detailing, this heavyweight probably didn’t need much accessorising so she added a Rauwolf red clutch and Dolce & Gabbana crucifix earrings.

Hilary Rhoda: By far my favourite from this bunch, I have been obsessed by this ruby crystal-embellished dress for a long while, not only by the colour and bedazzlement, but also the excellent craftsmanship. Simple styling was most definitely the right road to take this exquisite piece down.

Ralph Lauren's Screening Of Hitchcock's 'To Catch A Thief' Celebrating The Princess Grace Foundation

Last night, Ralph Lauren hosted a special screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘To Catch A Thief’ at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The event, which was held to celebrate The Princess Grace Foundation, drew a crowd peppered with actresses, models, and one royal daughter-in-law.

Princess Charlene of Monaco: There to represent the Monegasque royal family, Princess Charlene of Monaco stunned in a strapless white jumpsuit by Ralph Lauren. While the structured bodice, skinny waist belt, and wide-leg silhouette gave off a distinct ’70s vibe, her minimalist take elsewhere (accessories, makeup, and slicked-back hair) kept the whole look decidedly polished.

Toni Collette: The Australian actress covered up in a black Ralph Lauren turtleneck dress, which also featured long sleeves and a below-the-knee hemline. Perhaps, to offset the conservative dress choice, she wore black cutout booties and styled it all with a gold, textured Louis Vuitton ‘Limelight’ clutch and mussed-up waves.

Coco Rocha: The model — who also donned Ralph Lauren for the evening’s festivities — went with an outfit straight from the designer’s Fall 2013 runway. The look included a white Victorian ruffle-front and puffed-sleeve blouse, high-waisted black sailor pants, and black pumps.

Metropolitan Opera Season Opening Production Of ‘Eugene Onegin’ Red Carpet Roundup

While the 2013 Emmy Award trophies were trending in Los Angeles, California, a host of stars came out to walk another red carpet across the States in New York City for The Metropolitan Opera’s season opening production of ‘Eugene Onegin’ on Sunday.

Coco Rocha: The model was appropriately striking and statuesque, as she strutted out a Greta Constantine midnight-blue gown. The architectural silhouette, intricate folded detailing, mock peplum waist and shoulder cutouts all had me at hello. An exaggerated, winged cat eye and bright coral pout brought even more drama.

Mischa Barton: Putting a sophisticated foot forward, the actress wore a Valentina Kova robe dress, punched through with a bold, cerulean blue waistband. A thigh-high slit showed off her black Walter Steiger pumps, which couldn’t help but be outdone by that over-the-top feather clutch. She opted for the no-makeup look, but a bold lip may have been beneficial here.

Patricia Clarkson: The flame-haired actress sparkled in a Philosophy Fall 2013 black gown, accented with an appropriate plunge neckline and a shower of glittering embellishment at the waist.
