Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Claudia Schiffer was spotted out in London this week after dropping her kids off at school.

She gave a look from her new Claudia Schiffer luxury cashmere collection its first outing.

The grey knit sweater was paired with dark denim jeans and accessorized with an Anya Hindmarch maxi zip leather shoulder bag, a Zadig & Voltaire scarf, Chloe sunglasses and Reiss gladiator flats.

I love how the scarf ties everything together in this laidback ‘off-duty’ look.

I’m sure this will be the first of many looks we’ll see from Claudia who showcased her collection during Couture Fashion Week.

The collection is currently available in Harvey Nichols, but you’ll soon be able to shop Claudia Schiffer’s cashmere collection on Net-A-Porter.com along with many other new designers for Fall 2011 including Dolce & Gabbana, Nina Ricci, Altuzarra plus many more.

Claudia Schiffer was spotted walking home after dropping her kids off at school earlier this morning in London.

Her School-Run-Mum look included a peach blouse and a Stella McCartney Spring 2010 longer-length retro cut denim skirt.

The accessories really pull this look together as she added a printed scarf, oversized shades, tan ankle strap heels and a Salvatore Ferragamo saddle bag from the Spring 2011 collection.

This Fall Claudia Schiffer will become a model/designer as she will be launching her cashmere Fall 2011 collection.

It will include boyfriend sweaters, fitted knit dresses, knit capes, leather leggings and oversized cardis.

Despite having so much to catch up on from the weekend, I just had to share this trio of yummy mummies on the school run this morning in London and New York.

Elle MacPherson: My current girl crush of the moment has the supermodel/yummy mummy crown. She looked gorgeous teaming a simple black cardi with red hot Isabel Marant cropped leather pants and Isabel Marant bow front kitten heels which were both from the Fall 2010 collection.

Claudia Schiffer: The German model may not have been going for all out glamour, but she oozed an effortless off-duty style whilst dropping her kids off to school. She becomes the latest celeb to fall in love with the Gucci ‘Snaffle Bit’ Bag behind, Heidi Klum, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kylie Minogue and Florence Welch. Claudia is also following in the very trendy footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow who has been seen frequently wearing these nude Sergio Rossi ‘Maori’ wedge booties.

Sarah Jessica Parker: Was spotted taking young James to school this morning wearing an array of colours. She sported a biscuit coloured oversized sweater which she paired with Rag & Bone skinny jeans. Stone ballet flats, a fuchsia pink scarf and a Fendi ‘Silvana’ top handle bag completed her colourful look.

They all have oversized shades in common.

This evening Claudia Schiffer took to the red carpet to attend the “This Must Be The Place” Premiere during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.

Her Chanel Couture dress for some reason reminds me of the black lace Dolce & Gabbana dresses which just goes to show that Claudia’s designer choice may change, but her style remains the same.

The hair, the dress…nothing ever changes.

We’ve seen the Olsen twins and Emmy Rossum on the red carpet for The Metropolitan Opera Premiere of Le Comte Ory, here are the rest of the looks.

There were many black looks on the red carpet starting with Clare Danes who wore a YSL one-shoulder gown.

The floor-length black gown was adorned with gold embellishments. Her elegant look was perfect for a night at the opera.

The only pop of colour from Claudia Schiffer came via her orange nail polish.

German supermodel looked so statuesque wearing a simple black YSL Edition Soir 2011 halter dress which she paired with a gold clutch and YSL heels. Read more…
