Best Dressed Award
Wearing the colour of the season – electric blue – Kate Winslet is the only actress that made me say wow last night.

The British actress was truly outstanding wearing a stunning Narciso Rodriguez body-con gown, which hugged her in all the right places.

The deep v-neck proved again that Kate is not afraid to show off her cleavage.

She completed her look with Chopard jewels.

I particularly loved her earrings.

Best Runner Up Award
Had it not been for Kate, Evan Rachel Wood would have won Best Dressed wearing this stunning teal Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2009 off-the-shoulder gown.

She accented the gown with a eagle brooch, which worked well with rest of her antique looking jewelry.

She completed her look with purple Sergio Rossi heels, and a matching clutch.

Most Dramatic Award
I like drama on the red carpet. And Teri Hatcher certainly provided that last night wearing this Monqiue Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2009 gown, which had an asymmetric bodice, folds on the skirt, a train, shoulder detail, and a black belt to finish off the look.

It all sounds to much, but it worked perfectly. Teri more than did it justice as she literally bounced with joy down the red carpet, looking particularly pleased with herself.

Most Undecided Award
I went back and forth a lot with Eva Longoria in this Jenny Packham Spring 2009 dress.

I like the dress, the colour, and the gold crystal and turquoise embellished neckline. But I really dislike Eva’s hair, and the nude mesh part of the dress.

Best White Award
There were many white gowns on the red carpet last night, but Anne Hathaway’s was the most exquisite. The actress wore a white Azzaro gown with crystal embellished neckline and belt.

This dress sees the classic beauty return to her outstanding red carpet form, we have long been admiring.

Her look was complete with Cartier jewels, and Christian Louboutin heels.

I Know You Probably Hate It, But I Love It Award
No red carpet is complete without a Elie Saab gown, and Marisa Tomei did not disappoint in this canary yellow Elie Saab Spring 2009 gown with satin floral detail.

The floral detail started on the shoulder, then cascaded down her back.

She is on fire at the moment.

Back On Track Award
After Freida Pinto’s disappointing Golden Globes gown, she was back to her best wearing a pale blue Marchesa gown.

She completed her look with a Roger Viver box clutch, and Martin Katz jewels.

Best Dressed Couple Award
Diane Lane and Josh Brolin together always make me swoon.

He was gorgeous wearing a black on black suit, whilst she shone, so elegantly, wearing a red David Meister halter gown.

Most Vibrant Award
I have not seen any movies with Viola Davis, so she was not really on my radar, but she surely grabbed my attention wearing a vibrant yellow David Meister draped stretch charmeuse one shoulder evening gown.

The colour really popped against her skin.

Best Red Award
There were a lot of red dresses on the SAG red carpet last night, but I loved the silhouette of Claire Danes’ Nina Ricci gown.

The dress was also set apart with it’s asymmetrical skirt, and its sheer cap sleeves.

She completed her look with Fred Leighton jewels and Jimmy Choo heels.

Best Couture Award
Couture doesn’t have to be about highly structured pieces. It can also be about gorgeous floaty ultra feminine pieces like this Anne Valérie Hash Fall 2008 Couture strapless gown, which Jennifer Morrison wore last night.

The lace skirt and embellished neckline look beautifully delicate.

Best Snap Back Award
The last time I saw Amy Poehler on the red carpet she was pregnant, now she has snapped back to her fabulous pre-baby figure.

The comedian also wore white, and looked angelic wearing a plunge-neck Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2008 gown with a brooch detail on the empire waist.

Silver peep toes and diamond jewels completed the look.

Va Va Voom Award
WOW. I have said it before, and I will say it again. What an amazing figure Christina Hendricks has. Her racy red Carolina Herrera ruffle neck gown, does nothing but enhance it.

Glorious.

Quietly Consistent Award
Jenna Fischer does not wear anything that screams “Look At Me”, but she always manages to look fantastic.

She did so again last night wearing a dove grey silk chiffon plunge-neck Pamella Roland gown with yellow and grey beading along the empire-waist.

Best Deja Vu Award
Lisa Edelstein is wearing a red Reem Acra Pre-Fall 2009 asymmetric gown, we have seen many times before. Mainly because there is a Resort 2009 dress which looks very similar which was recently worn by Gabrielle Union.

Zac Posen’s Spring 2009 collection was full high glamour, from big metallic chandelier earrings to embellished dresses.

There were many frills, sugar-pink cocktail dresses, Grecian dresses, animal print gowns, skirts with square cut outs, ruched cocktail dresses, and even a large canary coat/dress.

My favourite piece was the gorgeous one shoulder metallic dress, which I can imagine Kate Mara, friend of Zac Posen, will get first dibs on.

Continuing the dark romance trend, that dominated the Fall collection, Posen produced a stunning array of black dresses.

Claire Danes was in the front row wearing a stunning peachy/pink dress.

The Williams sisters were front row next to Anna Wintour wearing a Prada Resort 2009 coat over a jeweled neck-line dress which is also from Prada. I don’t know who was more intimidated.

Venus wore a lavender Zac Posen satin Neptune mini dress, whilst sister Serena wore a jade Zac Posen Maison Signature cocktail dress with a stunning necklace.

Kate Mara matched her Christian Louboutin Mad Mary Janes, with her stunning ivory belted dress.

Joy Bryant wore an off-the-shoulder Zac Posen Fall 2008 dress, which for me is not one of her better looks this week.

Leighton Meester opted for this teal halter ensemble, with gold strappy sandals.

Calvin Klein’s Spring 2009 collection was full of crisp, minimalist pieces, in mostly ivory, with some cerulean blues and nude pieces.

The look was dramatic, but the pieces were totally wearable.

The standout pieces were those that had origami folds and pleats.

Eva Mendes was of course in the front row, wearing a white trapeze dress, grey heels and a peach clutch.

Loving everything excluding the grey shoes.

I love the stand-out red on Tyra Banks, but she has pulled her hair back so tightly that she is just recognisable.

I am loving the long shot more than the close up of Serena Williams, and this is because I really do not like her eye make-up.

Leighton Meester is looking more like chic self. Playsuits continue to be a directional choice for this season, and Leighton wore a ivory one with a black trim.

She finished her look with a pair of strappy gold sandals.

I love the multiple colours on Cassie’s sweetheart neckline bubble hemmed mini dress by Coven.

A funky dress, deserves a funky shoe, and Cassie chose multi-coloured heels from Pierre Hardy.

Mena Suvari shows off the back of her stunning jewel embellished chocolate dress, as well as her tattoo.

Claire Danes wore a taffeta belted shirt dress, with a pair of gold and black strappy sandals.

Surprisingly plain for Claire.

Model Jessica Stam wore a black Prada Fall 2008 skirt, with a black top and a beige leather jacket.

I love the air of mystery the Prada skirt gives. Is she or is she not wearing underwear?

She is of course.

All the skirts from the Prada Fall 2008 collection, were presented below the knee, but actress Malin Ackerman wears a shorten mini version of the skirt.

So cute. I fall more and more in love with this collection everyday.

Claire Danes proves by wearing a simple dress, like this Calvin Klein Resort 2009 one-shouldered dress, you can have stunningly dramatic result.

J’Adore.

I am loving the colour, the sheen on the fabric, and the jewels. Everything about Eva Mendes here is pure perfection, as she OOZES sex appeal from every pore.

New mum Halle Berry showed off her post-baby shape in a body-hugging Calvin Klein Resort 2009 dress.

She has lost the weight, but maintained her assets. Spectacular.

Anna Wintour bucks the Calvin Klein unofficial dress code, by wearing a printed green dress from the Prada Resort 2009 collection.

She arrived at this event with her daughter Bee Schaffer, who wore an ivory halter dress.

Oh Leighton Meester, what happened to you?

First that multi-coloured Missoni gown and now this.

I know transparency was a Spring 2009 trend, but I am not feeling it on Leighton.

Naomi Watts is simply fabulous. Only a truly confident women would wear a black lyra dress when heavily pregnant. Love it.

Zoe Saldana is also wearing a stunning ivory sheath dress from the Calvin Klein Resort 2009 collection. She completed her look with taupe strappy sandals.

Molly Sims sparkles in a sequined black mini, with a touch of gold.

Loving the metallic top and leather skirt combo. Like Thandie Newton, Joy Bryant never puts a foot wrong.

There was a time when Ellen Pompeo used to wow us on the red carpet. Some were good, some were bad, but she always took a risk.

OK Calvin Klein does not have many dramatic pieces, but I’d have thought she would pick more than a LBD.

Coco Rocha in Calvin Klein Resort 2009. Stunning fierce as always. ♥

Jessica Szohr wore an asymmetric black and nude dress.

It is not often that she out does Leighton, but on this occasion she most definitely did.

I would have loved this dress on her more had it been just nude.

Claire Danes was a vision of pure loviness when she arrived at the Toronto Film Festival yesterday for her premiere Me and Orson Welles, wearing a midnight blue Lanvin asymmetric dress.

I knew this asymmetric layered, body-con dress was beautiful on the runway, but I did not realise how much so, until I saw it on Claire.

The actress, who stars alongside teen heart-throb Zac Efron in this movie, wore her amazing dress with cork Christian Louboutin slingbacks.

Eva Herzigova more than makes up for her early faux pas by blinding me with her stunning beauty in this white strapless Valentino Spring 2007 Couture gown.

I particularly love the skirt details.

Claire Danes wears another stunning Valentino Spring 2008 Couture cocktail dress. The colour is just divine on her.

Her tulle hemmed dress was heavily embroidered with gold vine and leaf details, as well as pink flowers.

I am running out of superlatives. Diane Kruger hits it out of the fashion ball park in this one-shouldered pink Valentino Spring 2007 Couture gown.

The draping on the hips is gorgeous, as it gives her a very sensual silhouette.

Earlier this week I did a post featuring Eva Mendes on the cover of Marie Claire wearing the same Gucci Fall 2008 dress, which Charlize Theron wore to the party of this screening.

Here we get to see the full beauty of the draped gown with metal embroidery and chain detail.

I love the dress, but wish Charlize had done something different with her hair.

I already know I will struggle to choose a Best Dressed Of The Week, with so many fab frocks on display.

Natalia Vodianova is a vision in white.

Elizabeth Hurley knows what works for her…exposing her best assets.

She has been doing it since she wore that safe-pin Versace dress back in 1994, and she still does it now with great effect.

Jealous? Oh Yes.

Valentino fashion designer Alessandra Facchinetti wore a beautiful lime green dress she created from her Fall 2008 Couture collection, with stunning jewels.

Tamara Beckwith aka the mother-to-be wore a asymmetric gown, which allowed her to show off her proud bump, and still look fabulous.

Not crazy about the 3 tone hair though.
