Claire Danes In Prabal Gurung – Tribeca Talks: Director’s Series

Claire Danes was at the Tribeca Talks: Director’s Series at the Tribeca Film Festival on Thursday (April 26) in New York City.

Donning a Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2018 dres with Gianvito Rossi ‘Portofino’ sandals, she exuded feminine charm.

The multitude of buttons running down the sides showcased her burgeoning baby bump and played off the ditsy print.

It’s breezy and insouciant, but some might be missing the wow factor.

Just visible are the black straps that extended down the back of the dress. It’s a shame we cannot see them more.

Having a contrasting waistband detail would have enlivened the piece a little more and further accented her changing shape.

Claire Danes In Prada – ‘Brigsby Bear’ New York Screening

Judging by Claire Danes’ radiant glow, the actress has been having a great summer, but she was back to work last night (July 26) for the screening of ‘Brigsby Bear’ in New York City.

It felt easy to spot her Prada dress, because the brand seem to accent all their red carpet gowns with plenty of embellishments lately, which I feel – especially in this case – isn’t always needed.

This dress pretty enough with the pink hue, fit and flare silhouette and lemon embroidery, so the bling is in danger of overcooking the piece; especially with such a heavy fabrication.

Claire Danes In Monse – 2017 Met Gala

Claire Danes also stepped out early at the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) in New York City, showing off a perfect indication of why pants might have a moment at this year’s gala.

The white shirting of this Monse Fall 2017 ensemble is a signature of the label.

But I love how designers Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim took the deconstructed, pieced-together and grommet-laced blouse to the next level for Claire with even more defined sculptural ruffles and the addition of a long train.

The top was nearly a gown in and of itself, with the slim black pants playing a subtle supporting role.

Her sleek bun, accessorised by arrow-shaped hair jewelry, provided a necessary sleek finish to the rebelliously classic ensemble that turned the standard-issue white button-down and black trousers on its head.

Tiffany & Co. 2017 Blue Book Collection Gala Red Carpet Roundup

Joining Ruth Negga and Haley Bennett were a number of other eclectically outfitted stars at the Tiffany & Co. 2017 Blue Book Collection Gala on Friday (April 21) in New York City that had me questioning exactly what the dress code requested.

Doutzen Kroes: The model hid her beautiful form in a Céline Resort 2017 ensemble that boasted of quite clownish proportions. I’m afraid I cannot hop aboard the oversize look here that just translates as messy, especially with Doutzen’s barely-there beauty and afterthought hair.

Claire Danes In Roland Mouret – ‘Homeland’ LA Screening

Claire Danes attended the ATAS Emmy screening of Showtime’s ‘Homeland’ on Monday (April 3) in LA.

The actress wore a Roland Mouret Spring 2017 dress which possess a broodingly romantic vibe; evoking images of a midnight stroll through an English country garden.

Some might not approve of the halter neckline on Claire, but I think she carries this look off with sophisticated ease.
