American Film Institute’s 46th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to George Clooney

There were many more A-Listers joining Cate Blanchett, Anna Kendrick and Amal Clooney and for the American Film Institute’s 46th Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute to George Clooney on Thursday (June 7) in Hollywood, California.

Jennifer Aniston: The breath-taking construction of this bodice makes me realise how much I miss seeing the craftsmanship of Christian Lacroix Haute Couture on the red carpet.

Cindy Crawford: The super model was serving up pure elegance in this Stella McCartney one-shoulder gown. Granted it’s nothing new, but you can’t deny that with minimal effort Cindy is a vision here. There was plenty of sparkle to be had via her Jimmy Choo ‘Cayla’ clutch, gold sandals and earrings.

Julianna Margulies: The actress is always radiant on the red carpet. On this occasion she opted for midnight blue, over her favoured black. I love the silhouette of this Vionnet Fall 2014 Couture dress, but I’m not sure of the design from the bustle downwards. A Jimmy Choo ‘Vivienne’ clutch completed her look.

Models @ 2018 Met Gala

Naturally, the models were out in force for the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City. Here’s what these ‘heavenly bodies’ had on.

Ashley Graham: Channeling a bronzed goddess moment, the model donned an Atelier Prabal Gurung sequin-encrusted gown that introduced a dramatic, Met-ready sensibility with the long, satin-edged cape. The leg jut was put to work, with Taski jewels and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals completing the look.

Bella Hadid: I’m sure many will be raising their hands in praise that Bella opted for something a bit more covered than her naked bodysuit from last year’s Met Gala. This custom Chrome Hearts x Gareth Pugh design riffed on sinner and saint with the dark glamour of the latex corset and sculptural, villainous cape and fingerless gloves. This would have been all bad-girl were it not for the cross necklace and cross-embroidered veil that trailed behind her.

3rd Annual InStyle Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The 3rd Annual InStyle Awards on Monday (October 23) in Los Angeles, California brought out numerous stylish ladies donning their most head-turning ensembles.

Angela Sarafyan: The ‘Westworld’ actress put a darker twist on a princess silhouette in a Georges Chakra Fall 2017 Couture gown. The black trim and the darker tulle layers lent an edginess to the full skirt. An Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch and Chloe Gosselin ‘Narcissus’ sandals played up the moody vibe.

Demi Lovato: Bringing a sultry elegance to a lavender Alice + Olivia Spring 2018 gown, the ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer toughened up the slip dress with a white studded belt and Leticia Linton ring. If I have to nitpick, I would have liked to see the dress a few inches shorter and a more formal belt.

ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration Red Carpet Roundup

From ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration on Monday (October 16) in Beverly Hills, California, we’ve seen the likes of Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence. Here is a roundup of the rest of the gorgeous actresses who were in attendance.

Jessica Chastain: The vinyl Fashion Week trend didn’t go down too well with the majority, but Jessica put her graceful spin on the trend in Calvin Klein which is the most glamorous interpretation I’ve seen yet.

Margot Robbie: After a colourful week promoting ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’, Margot opted for the simple elegance of Calvin Klein. I adore the sensuality of this look, plus the embellished sandals.

Zoe Lister-Jones: The Chinese influence of her gorgeous McQ Alexander McQueen floral dress is there for all to see. It’s the complementary styling of Irene Neuwirth and blue suede shoes which really perfected the look.

Front Row @ Chanel Spring 2018

The final day of Paris Fashion Week brought with it a 50-foot waterfall like only designer Karl Lagerfeld can create at his water-themed Chanel Spring 2018 collection on Tuesday (October 3), where Chanel-clad guests sat front row to witness the show.

Clemence Poesy: Classic Chanel tweed took a less expected turn with Clemence’s pairing of pearls and cuffed pants. Lug-sole loafers completed the look, which had a certain unconventional boyish-charm.

Sophie Cookson: Meanwhile, the LBD got a Chanel lift with the logo belt, quilted clutch, and over-the-knee boots for an eternally chic look.

Monica Bellucci: Wearing her favoured colour of black, Monica kept her look simple and sophisticated with a coat and slim trousers.
