Ciara In Walter Mendez – White House State Dinner

Ciara In Walter Mendez - White House State Dinner

Ciara and her Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson beau attended the State dinner in honour of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe And Akie Abe on Tuesday (April 28) at the White House in Washington, DC, which is their first public appearance as a couple.

He looked dapper in his classic tux suit while Ciara served up a BDOTY-worthy custom champagne hued silky mermaid gown by Walter Mendez.

I’m captivated by the way the gown fits to absolute perfection; showcasing her gorgeous toned figure.

No doubt, many will question the appropriateness of side-boob at the White House, but I’m too busy being swept away by the beauty and glamour of this look and Ciara’s return to her magical, breath-taking best.

All those in favour, say “Aye.”

FORWARD By Elyse Walker & David Koma Dinner

FORWARD By Elyse Walker & David Koma Dinner

FORWARD by Elyse Walker hosted a dinner party in West Hollywood, California on Thursday (April 2) to celebrate Georgian-born and London-based designer David Koma, who is known for his powerful, sculptural, body conscious dresses, often embellished with artistic flourishes. This signature style that is based on strong, powerful sexuality has earned him a vast celebrity following including Karolina Kurkova, Emily Blunt, Miranda Kerr, Emily Ratajkowski and Megan Fox.

While none of the aforementioned were in attendance, Camilla Belle, Ciara and Jenna Dewan-Tatum were, showcasing the designer’s flare for creating varying versions of the LBD and LWD’s.

Ciara: The current girl about town selected a Spring 2015 dress with sheer elements which would’ve been better served had the zipper been done up at the back.

Camilla Belle: This frock upheld the designer’s love for asymmetrical lines, which she styled with Ann Taylor ‘Evelyn’ double strap d’Orsay pumps.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum: David Koma’s dresses are always sexy, but when you add cut outs into that mix, that appeal instantly heightens.

Who is your favourite here? I will have to go with Camilla.

Ciara In Theory – Out In New York City

Ciara In Theory - Out In New York City
Ciara was spotted out in New York City several days ago, as she was leaving the Condé Nast offices.

Donning a Theory Spring 2015 tan suede coat and matching culottes, the songstress rocked the look, which was perfect transitional statement from winter to spring.

She called the simple, luxe lines of the sportswear ensemble ‘tomboy chic’ on Instagram, with her signature, chic sassy appeal definitely manifesting itself in that power pair of Giuseppe Zanotti textured suede, lace-up knee boots.

I actually loved the subtle yet impactful effect of her loose, long half-braided ponytail, which cascaded down her back.

Ciara In Nili Lotan – BET’s ‘Black Girls Rock!’

Ciara In Nili Lotan - BET's 'Black Girls Rock!'

Ciara attended the BET’s ‘Black Girls Rock!’ event at NJ Performing Arts Center on Saturday (March 28) in Newark, New Jersey.

The singer, who appears to have shelved her pre-baby edgier style for the time being, wore a sensual Nili Lotan black silk slip dress, tailored with a flattering bias-cut silhouette and raw-edge shirttail hem.

The simple silhouette lends timeless appeal to her look, while allowing her true beauty to shine through.

I wouldn’t change a thing.

Ciara In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – 2015 Grammy Awards

Ciara In Alexandre Vauthier Couture - 2015 Grammy Awards

Ciara attended the 2015 Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (February 8).

Working a flurry of architecturally sculpted tulle, she stunned in an Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2014 Couture black gown.

For all its rigid ruffles and long flurry of a train, the singer still managed to own this dramatic, eye-catching look without it wearing her. The gold metal belt was a brilliant, figure-enhancing addition.

The gown was the art piece here, so the rest of the styling was kept to a minimum with a simple pair of Christian Louboutin ‘Mea Culpa’ black pumps.

Smoldering nude makeup tones complemented Ciara’s natural beauty and swept-back, partless locks were the only other element at centre stage.
