Ciara In Anthony Vaccarello - 2014 People’s Choice Awards Nominations Announcement 2Ciara joined Rachel Bilson at the 2014 People’s Choice Awards Nominations announcement press conference yesterday at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, California.

Like Rachel, the songstress also looked to a more warm-weather look—although hers was a darker, sexier version of sultry summer wear. She certainly grabbed her fair share of stares in a super-leggy Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2014 glam-rock ensemble.

She covered up her top half in a silk shirt and long jacket, embellished with super-sized, shiny domed buttons. But she put her pins on display with a diamond-pointed black skirt that I first nearly mistook for a napkin.

Her wavy ombre bob, smoldering bronze-tinged eye makeup, and black snakeskin-embossed, lace-up booties added the final rocker-girl flourishes.

It all made for a polished, daring and just slightly irreverent statement—she pulls it off like few others could.

Ciara In Alon Livne - Moet Rose Lounge Houston

Ciara hosted an event held at The Hotel Derek for Moet Rose Lounge Houston in Texas yesterday evening, which no doubt doubled up as a celebration for the newly engaged star who was proposed to by her rapper beau Future on her birthday weekend.

The singer, as usual, didn’t leave much to the imagination wearing a futuristic Alon Livne Fall 2013 sheer gown with cut-outs, patent-leather sculptural details and a thigh-high slit.

From the long shot the dress appears to be held up by that neck piece, but on closer inspection the top half is a constructed second-skin tulle bodice.

While I will admit she works the hell out of this gown, I’m not a fan of the heavy Saint Laurent thick ankle-strap patent pumps. There’s more material on her pumps than there is on her dress, it seems.

A simple centre-parted updo and flawless neutral-coloured makeup complete her look.

Do you love this sexy futuristic look?

Ciara In Emilio Pucci - Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 12th Annual ‘An Enduring Vision’ Benefit Gala

Ciara joined Allison Williams at the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 12th annual ‘An Enduring Vision’ benefit gala at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Tuesday evening.

The songstress took a wild turn with her nearly neon-yellow Emilio Pucci Spring 2014 hooded dress that was cut low on top and high on the bottom.

The tasseled, plunging mini got an extra wallop of brash attitude via the styling, with the edgy Ciara choosing a chain-link choker necklace and black Christian Louboutin ‘Monicarina’ thigh-high leather boots.

I’m trying to imagine this look with more sophisticated shoes and accessories, but I’m still not convinced it could have turned into a gala-ready dress.

Lily Collins In MinkPink & Topshop and Ciara In Opening Ceremony - Hakkasan Restaurant

Lily Collins and Ciara were spotted having dinner at Hakkasan restaurant in Beverly Hills on Thursday evening.

If you are slightly surprised by this pairing, don’t be because it looks like they bonded over their love for Givenchy when seated front row at the Spring 2014 show during Paris Fashion Week earlier this month.

Lily Collins: The young starlet wore a black spaghetti-strapped Topshop jumpsuit with a V-neckline styled with a white faux-fur Minkpink jacket, black ankle-strap sandals and a pop of red via her clutch and lip colour.

Ciara: Did Ciara call ahead? Because she also worked a red-and-black look, wearing an Opening Ceremony ‘Lucky Rose’ knit sweater dress with rose appliqués styled with black leather Christian Louboutin Mado lace-up booties and a black Givenchy clutch. Like Lily, she sported a centre-parted ‘do; however, she opted for a neutral lip colour.

Ciara In Doriane Van Overeem & Topshop - Out In Paris

With Paris Fashion Week over, Ciara took time to indulge in some retail therapy, hitting up the Balmain boutique in Paris, France on Wednesday.

Joining the burgeoning vinyl trend, the singer donned a pink vinyl skirt from Topshop, which she paired with a fluffy mohair Doriane Van Overeem pink sweater which looks very cosy.
White accessories including quirky Miu Miu ‘Rasoir’ sunglasses and Gianvito Rossi pumps completed her look.

As you know, I’m not the biggest fan of white pumps, so I take them on a case-by-case basis. On this occasion they perfect the look.

Do you agree or will you never get on board with the white pumps trend?

Ciara In Valentino - Front Row @ Valentino Spring 2014

Ciara’s first love in fashion is Givenchy, but she took time out to check out what Valentino had in store for us for Spring 2014, taking a front-row seat alongside an adoring Miroslava Duma during Paris Fashion Week yesterday afternoon.

The singer went glam, opting for a Valentino Fall 2013 black gown featuring a white lace bodice with leather inserts at the sides, and tonal lattice-beaded embellishment throughout.

When it comes to the singer wearing gowns, we’re used to seeing her in something sheer, feathered and with a thigh-high slit, so this demure look is rather refreshing.

A sleek bun would’ve perfected this look for me.
