Ciara In Naeem Khan - Ciara's Baby Shower

With not long to go before her due date, friends threw a baby shower for Ciara on Saturday (March 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

The glowing mother-to-be, whose maternity style hasn’t skipped a beat since showcasing her baby bump at the 2014 Grammys, wore a Naeem Khan Spring 2013 white-and-burgundy lace-embroidered V-neck silk-georgette caftan.

Barely there makeup and a half-up, half-down hairstyle completed her look, continuing her luxe maternity style.

Ciara In Emilio Pucci - 2014 Grammy Awards

Ciara was another one of the metallic mavens at the 2014 Grammy Awards, held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (January 26).

The pregnant songstress was glowing and so, too, was this scintillating custom bronze gown by Emilio Pucci, which effectively showed off her burgeoning baby bump.

Sequinned and beaded from top to bottom with allover embellishment in the designer’s signature decorative pattern, this dress was a dazzling statement piece.

Given the complexity of the ensemble, Ciara kept her styling simple with naturally radiant makeup, a nude lip and a loosely pulled-back ’do.

Ciara In Lanvin Homme - The 2014 MusiCares Person Of The Year Gala Honoring Carole King

Ciara attended the 2014 MusiCares Person Of The Year Gala honoring Carole King held at Los Angeles Convention Center on Friday (January 24) in Los Angeles, California joining Victoria Justice and Lady Gaga.

This was her first red carpet appearance since her recent pregnancy announcement.

While Kerry Washington’s recent red carpet maternity looks have been puzzling and unflattering, it’s normal service for Ciara; chic and stylish.

No stranger donning menswear, the singer wore a uber chic Lanvin Homme navy blue metallic sheen jacket featuring soft blue pinstripe with matching trousers and short-sleeve button-up shirt from the Fall 2013 collection.

She styled the look with a crystal art deco two-finger ring from Lanvin’s Pre-Fall 2014 women’s collection and patent leather Louboutin pumps.

With us seeing more and more maternity red carpet looks from Ciara, Olivia Wilde and Kerry Washington, I wonder who will come out on top for Best Maternity Style of 2014.

My money is on Ciara or Olivia. Sorry Kerry.

Ciara In J. Mendel – 2013 American Music Awards

Ciara looked every bit the R&B starlet on the red carpet of the 2013 American Music Awards on Sunday night.

The singer wore a graphic, peek-a-boo gown from the J. Mendel Spring 2014 collection, which I think is safe to say was made for her.

The graphically patterned dress offers an exciting ‘is it or isn’t it’ continuous flash of skin, and manages to reveal a lot, without actually seeming all that risqué.

Ciara was smart to keep the accessories at the bare minimum and really let this dress sing, and even kept her makeup to the glam minimum.

My one disappointment here is her hair. I was loving her shoulder-length bob, and this shorter version just seems a bit too perky and soccer mom for the star. I look forward to seeing how she styles it for her next public appearance.

Ciara In Prabal Gurung - 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Ciara was one of the front-row guests at the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show held at Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City yesterday evening.

The singer showed off her lean legs in this thigh-high-slit gown from Prabal Gurung’s Fall 2013 collection.

Her navy silk-satin gown with dolman sleeves, a cutaway back and a draped waistline was styled without the leather harness we saw on the runway; however, she added her own hardware courtesy of her Giuseppe Zanotti black-and-gold sexy strappy sandals.

Apart from looking a tad snug around the waist, this is yet another great look for Ciara.
